Great sweatshirt durable and great quality as always but some men commented on the relaxed fix air will get in up their back.

Great sweatshirt, warm, long wearing and great fit!

This replaced an earlier, similar sweatshirt. Well made, I really like the quilted lining. It is warm and a large is just big enough for me to wear an insulated vest under it. It is warm enough for all weather except the most bitter. My only complaint is the small pocket inside the right side. I “fixed “ it with a large safety pin. I pinned it shut. Every time I put my hand into the pocket, it would go right into the tiny pocket. Not sure the purpose of it.

My favorite, heavy enough for most weather, easy on and off with the quilted lining.

I'm 5'10'' and weight 190. I usually wear a large but got a medium and it fits perfectly.

Absolutely love this jacket, which my son recommended to me. The quilted nylon lining inside makes getting it on an off a snap, especially in Winter when you normally wear bulkier clothing. Lots of storage pockets and love the extended zipper collar...keeps the cold out.

The only reason this isn't getting the full five stars is the sleeves are a tad bit short. I'm 6'2" @ 200# average build and ordered a size large. While driving or reaching for anything the cuff rides pretty well up my wrist. Not a huge deal but less than a perfect fit. Outside of that the jacket is surprisingly warm. Coupled with a good baselayer I've felt this hoody to be adequate in below freezing temps. The pockets are great and it is generally a comfortable jacket.

Bought as a gift for my spouse, and he absolutely loves it. Direct quote: "Fits great, and really comfortable. It's my go-to hoodie now." And if you could see how many hoodies were in his closet right now, you'd know that is really saying something. Plus, the proportions are excellent so he looks great in it. As usual, Carhartt nails it with simple, classic styling and great quality at a fair price.

great sweater, its got the pockets and warmth that were lacking in all the sweaters i've been looking for.

It's my 'dress hoodie.' I can't seem to wear it in the shop or outside to do yard work. It's the best quality that I have and runs a little big. I wear a 48 jacket and the XL is a little roomy...but that's fine. The right pocket has a divider in it, which is a nice idea but fairly cumbersome when all you want to do is throw your keys in your pocket. Maybe that will get a little loose as we go....

Been using this sweatshirt for a long time now and its quality and comfort has not diminished.

Love it. Runs a bit big so got the S instead of the M. I'm 5'11 and 195lbs and M was just too big. Also the hidden pocket is a bit weird. Otherwise the hoodie is awesome. I wear it daily!

Carhart rain defender runs big . My husband wears a medium in most clothes and jackets. We had to order a small in the rain defender jacket . My husband like it says it will be perfect for layering his clothes for cooler seasons .

I have had this hoodie for a month now. It is very comfortable, appears to be just as durable as several of my other Carhartt products and would highly recommend it. One of the nice things about this version is the entire interior lining is smooth. This allows for easy on and off of the hoodie. Much like a traditional jacket it will not grip on the clothes you are wearing. We have an outdoor ice rink that I am on daily for skating, shoveling, and top coating in the winter. I am outside on my property almost daily thru out the rest of the year and manage a remodeling company. This will all typically be done in this hoodie over just a t-shirt or sweatshirt depending on the temperature. It works very well. I'm 6'-1", 208 lbs. Fit but starting to fight the beer belly! I have the much older version of this hoodie and love it . Not a single thing wrong with it other than it has gotten pretty dirty. It is a light gray. No tears, no worn material, the zipper works perfect, all is well. When I decided it was time to have one that looked a bit better I called Carhartt directly to discuss the new version. I was assured this is it. This is a very nice hoodie I will have it for a very long time however while both my old and the new one are the size large the new one is just a bit more snug. I would not say it's a full size difference just snug . It is actually all around the fit. The hood, sleeves and body are all just a little smaller in the new one. This could be because the old one has relaxed (it is more than fifteen years old) I do however not feel that is the case. It has been washed several times, worn for hundreds of hours in all types of weather and situations. Interestingly it is in the range of motion that I find it most noticeable. I'm still going to note below that it is true to size as my guess is I would think the XL would be to big. Maybe it's just time to loose a few pounds. Overall still a solid Carhartt product.
