The jacket is awesome but we will never buy from this company again. The decision to get political is a deal breaker for me and everyone I know who has previously bought your products. Stupid decision.

Love this jacket. My 2nd one. It's plenty warm when I'm busy working outside and it keeps the cold Michigan wind out. It has needed xtra room thru the back and shoulders. I'm tall. Great sleeve length, they don't ride up when reaching. Great overall length, long enough to stay put below my belt when I bend over. Well made-durable: After 8 years of heavy use my last one looks really worn. Zipper still works and no holes in the pockets, still wear it for grungy stuff.

Outstanding sweatshirt, probably my favorite. I love the extra pockets! I work as a firefighter/paramedic and is just great for a cold snowy day. Can carry any extra stuff I need. Great job on this!

You changed it I have one that's 3 yrs old 3x fits me perfect , Your new one is more like a 2x . The sleeves were tight and couldn't even zip it up .

Seems to be discontinued so this is probably a waste of time, but I have several types of Carhartt hoodies and this is by far the warmest of the bunch. The Serpia is the only other one I have left to try. My biggest gripe with all of them is the "secret" media pocket. It is too smal to fit my phone and it's placement is akward, everything seems to get stuck entering the pocket chamber. Frustrating! Not enough to deduct a star though. The inside chest pocket is a real plus.

I bought this for my husband as a gift and he loves it. He had an old grey one that had served him well and he definitely needed a new one but doesn’t like the feel of the Sherpa lining and the quilted were hard to find in stores. So glad I went straight to Carhartt website. Definitely would this jacket.

This is my third Carhartt hooded sweatshirt. Still wear the other ones, just get a little stained or painted after awhile. I really like these quilted ones and cannot find them locally here. Real handy if your just going to run out and its 20 or 30 degrees. I Highly recommend them. I weigh 155 and bought a large so I could wear sweats under them . Perfect.

Perfect sweatshirt for New England. My only complaint is that it runs a bit big. But that's not much of a problem.

The jacket as a whole is great. The only thing I did not like is in the right hand pocket there is a second small pocket that is always open so when I put my hand in the pocket I have to fight with the opening of the second inside pocket. I will probably just sow the second pocket shut.

This quilt-lined hoodie is warm, and is easy to get in and out of. Hoodie zips up to chin, so there is no gap for air to flow in. The top of the zipper has a pocket, so the zipper doesn’t rest on the chin....love the feature. Hand pockets have a flap for security, and there’s a media pocket in the right pocket....fits an iPhone 8 with Defender Otterbox case. The hoodie has an inside pocket, which fits my phone as well. Excellent hoodie. Paired with arctic parka for a extreme heat.

Love my Rain Defender Carhartt zip hoodie. It’s the real deal. Very warm and rain repellent. Best jacket I ever owned.

this is the only everyday work jacket you need, on cold days here in TN it is more than warm enough, just wish it was made in a camo pattern

My purchase was to replace the same sweatshirt that was 4 years old. I love this model and will continue to buy it as long as Carhartt makes it. The insulated sweatshirt makes it so more useful than an ordinary sweatshirt and the zippered front allows you to control your body temperature.

This hoodie started out great until the teeth separated at the seam and shortly afterwards the slider body completely broke off. I ended up having to sew and epoxy the hoodie shut just to continue use. If I wanted a pullover, I would have just ordered one. The hoodie gets 2 stars because it really was a great hoodie it’s just extremely unfortunate quality of it was garbage.

Anyone looking for a comfortable, workable coat for the damp, cold months this one is it. Fits true and wears sturdy to complete a days work or just to look good. I love it!

...and boy oh boy does Carhartt ship fast! I have an old Carhartt thermal-lined. Still in service, I’ll never give it up. But it’s a little transparent to the wind for the coldest days so I ordered this one. Exactly right. The cuffs and butt band elastic are a little loose but I’m hoping a hot wash’ll tighten things up just like my oldie. I have a new friend. Thanks Carhartt. Always the best.

This rain defender lined sweatshirt is very nice but unlike every other 3XLT garnet I’ve ordered this one is smaller than the stated size.
