I love this cooler. Stylish, feasible, easy to carry. This cooler has been perfect for baseball. Keeps all my stuff cold. I even use it to keep the boys bags of fruit and it never gets smashed.

I got this as a warranty bc my zipper on my hopper two 20 ripped out. This cooler is just inconvenient and does not hold ice my other would keep ice for several days in a hot pickup, however this cooler within about 12 hours of being outside with no use just storing drinks ice will be melted I am seriously disappointed in getting a warranty product and is worse than the one I had I would reccomend this cool the hopper two 20 was ten times the cooler this one is

Best Xmas I received. I have had many coolers in my days. The Hooper Flip is the easiest and most comfortable to carry and use. Added benefit it keep ice for days and your beer and food cold. A must have!

This is the cooler I've been waiting for. Guiding on spring creeks and mountain streams portability is a must. I love Yeti hard coolers but the Flip 18 is a great solution when the hard coolers are too much to handle.The flip holds food and drinks for the day and with Yeti ice everything stay neat and dry. Nice job!

I previously owned a Hopper 20 (the old version with the zipper on the top) and disliked the zipper so much that I exchanged it for the Hopper Flip 18 instead. Having a zipper that unzips along three sides of the cooler definitely improves accessibility to contents. The Fog Gray/Tahoe Blue color combination is great!

We use this cooler for days when we have class. We put square casserole dishes in it. It is great for packing big lunches with drinks. We love the large opening for getting things in and out. This is our favorite cooler as it is light, portable, and durable.

I love this soft cooler, especially the color! I got it in the orange/coral color. This cooler doesn't hold ice quite as long as the hard coolers of course but for me the lighter weight of this cooler is worth that. It held ice for a little more than a day. This is perfect for a day trip and easily portable with the long strap. Yeti is expensive but it's worth every penny in my opinion. Definitely recommend!

I bought this cooler for my husband who works as an HVAC technician during the day and a bass fisherman on his spare time. This cooler keeps his lunches cold in the hot California sun and his coffee warm in his tumbler. I got this as a gift and was over excited, but I was travel for an 8 hour trip back home in a car and I packed my Yeti 18 soft cooler the night before with frozen water and cold drinks with store ice. The next morning the ice had melted and I had to pour the water out and put another bag of ice in.

Needed a soft cooler for the pool/softball/everyday use and this is perfect. I really don't understand the complaints about the zipper because once you get it a few times its super easy to use. I've never even used the stick of lube that was included with it. It keeps ice for at least a day and even when it does melt the drinks inside stay could multiple days after that. Its even easy to put in a freezer to prep it before you use it. I HIGHLY recommend getting this cooler and would ignore all other reviews with any criticisms.

A suggestion to improve would be to have an open zipper opportunity on both sides of the cooler (like suitcases) for easier access. I'm hopeful the zipper will open more easily with more use...have to use muscles to open!

We originally had the Roadie 20 but noticed we weren’t reaching for it as much because of the weight. We finally decided to sell it and invest in the hopper flip 18 and never looked back. We use it all the time! On days we have errands and want to make sure we have access to healthy snacks, days we have long hikes and come back to the car with ice cold snacks, the beach, you name it! LOVE this product and use it with the 4lb +1llb Yeti ice so the bottom is completely covered. We usually do day trips so I never have to use real ice, the Yeti ice is perfect!

I received this cooler for a Christmas gift and was excited to use it. I finally got the chance last weekend when we went camping and was very disappointed in the cooler over all. My ice had melted within only a few hours and all my drinks were soon sitting in water. I also took my cheap Rubbermaid cooler for our food (because it was larger) and the ice barely melted over the entire weekend. $300 bucks for a name brand vs. $40 for a cheaper brand.

Bought the Yeti flip 18 about a month ago and its everything that I hoped it would be. Having owned many other Yeti products including coolers, the flip 18 had some big shoes to fill and it did. Keeps food and drinks cold on all day fishing trips with just a single 4 lb Yeti Ice pack. When packed with ice, its lasts for days, just as advertised. Another high quality, functional product from Yeti.

I got this bag last summer, because there was nothing else better to do than go to the beach. It keeps whatever’s in it cold. Opening it up and closing it does speed up the ice melt though. But it’s kept whatever I need cold for my beach trips, cold. It’s a bit bulky, but easier to carry than a hard cooler. I did my research first and there were too many complaints about the inability to keep the better looking, easier to carry bag open. So I got this one instead. I open the zipper carefully so I don’t break it. Take care of it, you want it to last!

From the dirty desert climbing trips, to the long weekends at the beach, there's nothing this cooler can't do. The fact that it's not hard sided allows for easy over-the-shoulder carrying, freein' up your hands for other things. It also can fit in places other hard sided coolers can't.

I bought this cooler to replace another brands soft cooler. This cooler works great. The first time I used it for fishing I forgot to precool it. It still worked great with no ice melt we only fished for 6 hours and it was 95. Since then I have precooled it for a hour or two before I use it and it's a great cooler. I have other yeti products which are great as well. I waiting till the sidekick comes back into stock and will get that one in my cooler color or another color that matches the cooler. Yeti is a great product and works you get what you pay for. One friend after fishing we were at his brothers house unloading the boat he asked questions about my expensive cooler I told him about it opened it he stuck his hand inside and said it's cold inside this was 7 hours of use still no ice melt he was impressed with it. I put a product called Top Coat f11 on the cooler. It helps with the UV rays even though you say UV resistent just extra protection, it also helps with cleaning the cooler it beads the water up if it gets wet. I only put it on the outside.

I bought this a few weeks ago and right out of the box you can tell the quality is SUPERB!! I’ve owned 4 other soft sided coolers and this one by far exceeded the quality and craftsmanship of the competitors. The only thing I would ask is: Yeti would you please put a pocket on the outside so I can tuck my phone in there while carrying cooler to the beach! Thank you Yeti for another well crafted product!

Bought this cooler in June 2018 and don’t use it frequently. Cooler itself is in great shape (looks new) but the zipper broke and the teeth are falling out. I’ve taken care of it as directed. Disappointed that this happened while on vacation at beach and awaiting follow up regarding warranty. Have not had any issues with my other yeti products.

I am a Yeti Fan, I have several coolers. However the color is not red, more maroon color, Seminole colors. But that is fine with me. It is the zipper that concerns me. This color does not zip and unzip easily. When we are on our Kayaks we take the Hopper along with us. We have two of these. The first one we bought no problems with the zipper, this one is much harder. We used the wax provided before we used the cooler which will take the whole tub of wax provided.

Best soft side bag yet! Have a Hopper 30 and Flip 12 and the Flip 18 is a perfect size for that day trip. I put two 2lb Yeti ice packs in the bottom and enough drinks for 3 people with a little ice on top and after a full day on the beach I had enough ice left to refill it with drinks the next day.

I purchased this due to it being a great size and then much lighter than the coolers. I have a couple hard coolers but they can get pretty heavy when loaded up. I am a 49 yo women in good shape but they still can get heavy. I wanted this for the strap to carry with. Not disappointed. Love the charcoal color and the size is perfect for weekend getaways and taking on the boat. The zippers on these are harder to work but they are heavy duty and nothing will leak. Highly recommend !

He has been wanting the flip 18 for as long as it has been out. We didn't even open the box. So when he saw yeti on the side of the box he thought it was a prank. When he opened the box and he saw the flip, plus the 2 two pound ice blocks, and the newest sidekick drykick it was an expression on his face that we have never seen before. He works for the railroad and to know he will have something at all times that his kids and grandkids got him while he drives the train is priceless.

The Hopper Flip keeps wet ice for days with a Yeti Ice block in the bottom. I don't know how they did it but it is so comfortable to carry even when fully loaded. It fits perfectly in the rear tank well, 6 hours of sun is nothing to this cooler.

We got this cooler in the winter and took it with on a ski trip to Maine. It was a 4hr ride and we left the cooler out on the deck for the 2 nights. The ice melted after a solid 24hrs and the stuff inside stayed cold for the 2 days . ( it was cold out). We are excited to test it out in the summer . We also got the YETI ICE to go with it . I would say this cooler is a great size to pack 8-10 beers , waters , and snacks !

Durable fabric built to last. For best results chill for 20-30 min before use and your good for a long weekend adventure. Be gentle with the zipper and lubricate after every other use. Great products but do your part to ensure they will last.

Great cooler for smaller ventures. Fits maybe 12 beers depending on size. its lightweight and easy to cary around. We have a lot of YETI's all the hard shell type we use this one the most! We got that weird pink/salmon color I personally didnt love it when it came I am warming to it. :)

Brought some Chinese take out home 100 miles and still warm ready to eat apron arrival. The light weight and accessibility are outstanding. I’ve owned a roadie 20 for a couple years and it’s great but heavy and bulky by comparison. I also own a hopper 20 and like the size and weight but hate the top zipper which rakes your hand each time you get something out. The new front zip is better but not much. The zip top flip 18 is great. Too bad that one didn’t come first. The back pack flip is probably going to be a big hit. Really like the flip 18 but hate the hopper 20. Roadie 20 also great and use it hard.

Originally bought to support Harvey relief. We have used numerous times since then on helping with cleanup due to hurricane Irma. Works great, we do find the zipper harder to use than expected, but when you buy quality you know it will not work like a less expensive model. Great product.

Glad I decided to go with the 18 vs 12. Everyday carry along for waters and food, great for kids baseball games and much easier to carry with shoulder strap. Way better to haul around then the yeti 20 and 24 filled up.

We have a 65 tundra but I knew I couldn't handle that by myself nor did I need to. The hopper was perfect for me. Stayed perfectly cool with the yeti ice and was easy for me to carry. Only thing I noted was the zipper was really hard to open and close and unfortunately I did not use the product that was provided to put on the zipper track. I will the next time! Also I could not pull on the the zipper lock pull cord hard enough to open it. Had to ask for help and did not use that feature. So even with it being a slight bit open it still kept everything cool for my purposes. I would recommend this as an Good alternative to the larger when you just don't need the big tundras.

Awesome cooler that works exactly as advertised. I purchased the Hopper Flip 18 and the Roadie 24 and kept the Hopper as it's lighter, holds similar capacity, and has better carrying options with the side, tops, and front/back handles. I've used it a couple times already and the ice was kept frozen for over 24 hours. I've already recommended it to friends.

This cooler works much much better than my others. It keeps ice cold all day and drinks very cold. The zipper is heavy duty and almost too heavy duty. The only drawback is that it can be hard to open and close the zipper. I would buy this again although!

This is a heavy duty cooler, no doubt. But my wife and kids both struggled to open the waterproof zipper. So much so that I ended up returning it because of their frustration. It also has so much insulation that you can't fit very much in it. We wanted to use it for day trips on our boat with the kids, and I don't think that is what this cooler is designed for. My mistake in the end, but overall very well built.

Keeps everything cold as promised, I just find the zipper is hard to open/close even though I understand it is waterproof and it has to be tight. I do think this zipper top is easier than the original hopper 30. I really like the Yeti products and will continue to use them.

I own several coolers and other yeti products. Love them all, but this cooler was a disappointment. The zipper is so difficult. Would be so much better if they found a way to integrate the magnetic “zipper” for this as well. Would be a major improvement.

This is the Yeti of Yetis! Period. If you only have one this should be it. I have several Yetis but this new size makes the flip the ultimate for me. The Hopper Flip 18 works amazingly well! It is the perfect size to literally take anywhere. It fits beer, water and wine, literally everything for wherever your day takes you. I bought this cooler about a month ago. I have a small Cessna that I regularly use to get to and from hunting camp and recreation. I have to be aware of every extra pound on board. When going camping or hauling hunting equipment the weight can add up quickly. I wanted something light weight and portable but would still hold ice. The hopper has exceeded my expectations and I love that it is leak proof. Thank you for another great product!

Bought to replace a stolen Hopper 30. Even though it holds a little less, I'm really partial to the flip design. Makes things so much easier to get in/out. Same great construction. Let's hope it holds up as well as our 30 did!

High quality as usual for a Yeti product. But few flaws including no outside compartment at all. Not even a small pocket to store a bottle opener. Zipper supports the entire weight of the unit when using the top handle and concerned that zipper will fail over time due to stress. Difficult to open zipper as with nearly all Yeti products. Keeps very cold due to great insulation but this also limits internal space significantly.

It performs well only if you prime it... I didn't realize this before hand and how much of a hassle it is for me since I have a small fridge. Buying this cooler alone will not be sufficient. Regular ice melts fast and there's no drain hole to drain the water. Yeti ice works better but that's another cost on top of an already expensive item. I've also added the sidekick, not sure why I did but my impulsive gut was telling me I had to. My intentions was to use it for road trips but I cant seem to safely open/close it while driving.

Read all the instructions. Put the cooler in the fridge overnight. Loaded 10 pounds of frozen shrimp the next morning with 4 thin & 1 medium frozen ice packs. Sailed through TSA like a breeze and made a 5 hour flight home. Still frozen solid. Great cooler
