Initially, there were exposed staples in the sole that were poking the bottom of my foot. I was able to bend them down and put another insole in on top of the existing insole so i wouldn't feel them anymore. They are a little lighter in color than pictured as well. Other than the staple issue, they are nice boots and the leather is really nice.

Not up to the usual quality of my other Tony Lama boots. No leather lining for one issue.

Purchased these boots for my husband for our anniversary. He loved the boots, but he noticed 2 small cuts in the leather that would eventually turn into holes in a matter of time. We are exchanging them in hopes for a better pair.

Color of the boots didn't match the pictures at all. Also the boots had cracks in the leather and had small rips before wearing.

short break-in. very comfortable. Looks great with jeans.

Got these about a month ago. Fit was great and Leather broke in quick. Only issue I had was right boot’s toe area was undied just looked like natural leather. I’ve read other reviews that said same thing. Just took some dark shoe polish to it and natural leather soaked it up, looks good now. But three stars for that issue.

These boots just didn't "feel" right on my feet. Loved the look of them though. My boots also did not have anything on the toe. Had I kept them they would have looked great with a touch of mink oil on the toes.

Pretty impressed with this boot. Had a couple little paint flaws on the right boot, but nothing crazy. The leather quality is perfect and the color is pretty nice. They fit very well and are extremely comfortable. Overall a great boot.

Color was lighter than the picture,but boots are very comfortable, ordering, shipping and delivery were great as usual.

I want to buy AMERICAN MADE ~ I "thought" Tony Lama made a good boot but if this is an example of their quality it's an insult.~ Extremely disappointed. I've worn cowboy roper boots for over forty years and have NEVER been presented with such inept design.

My fiance loves these! Very classic looking. Leather bottoms, but still seem durable. We took our engagement pictures with him wearing these, and we are excited for them to get broken in!

I bought these and they were exactly as advertised. Good fit, good customer service. The only reason I gave them a 4 instead of 5 is shipping time, which is not entirely in their control. I will definitely use Sheplers again.

I love these boots! The fit is perfect and the are super comfortable from the first time I slipped them on. I’m going to buy another pair, just to have as a backup.

I like these a lot more than I thought I would. I broke them in the old way, jumped in a water trough with them on and wore them dry. Works like a charm. Slathered Neatsfoot on them after they were dry and good to go. Leather is super soft now. Great boots.

I bought the boots a few weeks ago. They are not the color described at all. They are said to be tan but are a dark brown with faded tan on the toes. The left one is a smooth transition to the faded tan but the right looks like it has been scratched through the brown to the tan

Very disappointed with the color of these boots as they are much darker than pictured and the leather edges look like orange piping all around.

These boots are amazing! Comfy, true to size and visually appealing. Out the box you might need to treat the leather so don’t freak out. I also applied the water resistant spray for additional protection and hey look stunning . Ready for what ever I throw at them.

I have had several pairs over recent years to wear every day working this small ranch property. You can wear them down, but you can’t wear them out.

Very comfortable. Easy on, easy off pair of boots. Did run a big larger than other boots I've had but far from a game changer. Love these bad boys big time!

This is a great looking boot. I find they run narrow, but overall love the look. However, they flare too wide at the top and boot cut jeans don’t fit over it very well. I found it looked very awkward unless you have wide calves that fill the entire boot. The front and back of the boot cut lower than other styles of Tony Lama boots. This results in the boot getting very wide at the top.

I typically wear a size 12 shoe/boot and a narrow heal. I ordered the 12, but it was 1/2 size too large (my heel did not get the “pop” when i inserted my foot and had about 11/2” at the end of my big toe to the tip of the boot). Painlessly returned the 12 and exchanged for the 11 1/2 - perfect fit and very good customer service.

Great boots, very stylish. Only complaint is after the first time I wore them the insoles came unglued and wadded up in the bottom of my boots

When I received these boots one boot had a distressed toe and the toe of the other boot looked like it had been dyed or permanently darkened. Basically what I got was two completely different looking boots, that I wonder as a consumer how they could ever possibly be sent to someone in that condition. To add to my inconvenience of having to ship back a defective pair of boots Sheplers charged me a $10 handling fee.

Received these about a week ago, great customer service at Sheplers btw, and overall great and beautiful boot. The boots are a tad bit darker than pictured but are by no means too dark. Leather is extremely soft and conditioned, love my new Tony Lama boots, especially since they're made in the U.S. (unlike Ariat). Only complaint is I thought they ran a half size big.
