I stand and walk most of my work day so that is a priority when it comes to my feet! I recently got a new job where I am going to be outside in all four seasons so I'm going to try the womens timberland pro 6in insulated next! You won't be disappointed in these shoes! Trust me!

I bought them because I didn't want another steel toe boots and because I travel all the time and I am TSA pre-check. However, I still need to take my shoes off. It appears that the eyelets are the ones setting the metal detector off. Would be great if Timberland comes up with a different material for the eyelets too. Other than that, great boots.

I've had them about a week and the break-in period has been really good so far. I'm hoping they just keep getting better.

Sometimes forget I still have work shoes on after work they are so comfortable. Have worn them up to 14 hours. Not too high like a boot to rub the ankle bone and not too low to rub the heel bone. If Timberland made these not as a work shoe but as a casual shoe I would buy them!

If I buy steel toe work shoes, the toes are not high enough, so it cuts into the top of my toes. Alloy toes are higher over the toes, which gives me more room. Great fit, great quality.

I work though a labor union (IATSE stagehand) and often times am on my feet for 12 hours, often working near forklifts and often in a 'hard hat' area. These shoes are light, comfortable, supportive and durable having saved my toes from being crushed on more than one occasion.

I bought these for work after dealing with plantar fasciaitis and tendinitis in both feet from standing on concrete 10 hours a day. I've been thru several shoes and "FINALLY" found a shoe that I can go home and "NOT" complain about how my feet hurt. Thank you Timberland!! Now I just hope and pray you don't discontinue this product.

I purchased these last year for work, first time, I love them and plan on getting another pair this week, and every year after!

Feels like you are walking without any insoles. Changed the insoles and still feels the same way.. Tried communicating with Timberland and no response. Will never buy Timberland again

I have to wear steel toe shoes at work, these are comfortable for bending my foot. Does not rub on my toes. Width is nice even with a thick sock. The shoe is well made holds up nicely. I stand 8 hours on cement I only wish the insole would last long. I've hade mine for about 6 months and the insole has been pretty wore down in a few months. Looking on this site to see if I can possibly purchase new insoles because the shoe it's self is still in great shape. The insole wears out in the ball of the foot area.

If I could give 0 stars I would. These were the most uncomfortable shoes I have ever worn. I work 12 hour shifts at a motor manufacturing facility as a production operator and by the 6th hour my feet were throbbing. It was like I was walking on solid concrete. It was HORRIBLE. I'm thankful I brought my other work shoes. I don't know if I could have stood or walked much longer. I will NEVER buy another pair of shoes from this company.

But when I told them I had issues trying to enter the code it would not work. Never heard a word back. Guess they got your money and that is all that matters. So watch out for discounts. You may not get them.

I was wearing hiking shoe/sneakers but the last pair I got weren't very comfortable so I thought i would try something different. The Timberland shoes were comfortable right away but i find them too heavy and my feet and legs get tired in them. I will not buy another pair.

I always liked work boots but hated how my ankles were covered. This boot is more like a shoe so it allowed me to feel more comfortable. Only con is the laces are short but that's easily replaceable.

I agree with a previous reviewer that they need a more comfortable insole, as they are hard, not "cushy" at all. So, I bought a size 1/2 size larger than normal and I added a gel insert. If they are durable and last at least 2 years, I will definitely buy again,
