These boots are great...for the six months that they last. My boyfriend, who wears them almost everyday, has gone through two pair of these boots in less than a year. Sure, they are warm and do keep his feet dry...but for them to not even make it a year without failing is ridiculous. The soles come right off of these boots and are not repairable by a cobbler. Disappointing.

My first pair of boots lasted over 2 years and were comfortable out of the box and remained waterproof. These new ones I few like they started using cheaper materials for most of the boot. Just over a year later and the sole is completely separating from the boot, so they are no longer waterproof either. The laces are thinner and don't stay tied as well as the older version, the fabric on the inner sole has rolled away from the edges and digs at your feet. Don't think I'll buy another pair of Timberlands.

I run heavy equipment so I'm in mud,water,blacktop.i really liked these boots for six weeks then they started leaking water,then the insoles fell apart.i won't buy them again

These boots felt broke in when i tried them on! It felt like i was standing on the bed. Amazing right? I convinced others at work to try them. Then after a few months of daily wear, the cushion in the soles compressed. Then the waterproofing stopped working. Im former military, rotate boots daily, dry and keep clean out of habit. For the price paid, these should last longer. Ive had cheap boots last longer. Good try timberland but i would not suggest this boot to anyone.

The good, very comfortable very stylish tons of support. Actually are the most comfortable boots I've ever worn. Now the bad I've literally owned them 4 less than 2 days and the sole fell off. Really sucks because these were a gift and the person that I got them from is now out of state so what do I do, oh well

I've worn mine for 4 freaking months. Didn't expect the bottom treads to fall off the sole.

I have now had mine for a bit over a year now; I drive truck locally, hauling cement powder. I constantly climb in and out of aghe truck, up and down ladders (to check in levels), I am in water up to my ankles, mud, and am constantly getting cement powder ( which some have a very high akalide level). Not to mention when I climb onto the top of the trailer, it's wet, slippery, and sometimes covered in snow and ice, these boots have held up, still hold up, and still feel almost as. Comfortable as the day I got them. definite buy again!!

Comfortable boots even on and off ladders for eight to ten hours. For the money they didn't last long enough in my opinion. Sole came off bottoms so feet get soaked working outside in snow and rain. Will buy one more pair to see if they last longer. Have always worn timberland pro work boots for the past ten years.

I am a diesel mechanic. I step in chemicals and drag my boots across a concrete floor, sliding under trucks all day. I've owned these boots for 2 years and officially decided I can't kill them. I've had Red Wings, Carhartt boots, Carolina's, and many other boots. I'm usually lucky to get 6-8 months out of a pair. But after 2 years and 1 set of insoles later, I'm still wearing these boondocks.

I first thought these boots were big and clumsy but after having a pair of these I would have to say these are the best boots I ever owned they work great in Alaska I work in and out all day and even with 600 grams my feet stay warm and dry no break in period on these very comfortable boots.

Was very comfortable and light. All of the sudden I noticed a pain in my toes. The composite toe shattered and jabbed my foot for a couple days until I could make it to the store and buy an american made boot. Never again this piece of junk. Nothing landed on my foot. It broke under normal walking/working.

I drive trucks in Alaska and weld along with dealing with heavy equipment on Icy roads and lots of rain and snow. Keep me feet super dry and to the point they will keep your feet warm and even sweaty

This is the 3rd or 4th pair I have own and I'll never buy any other boot again. Very comfortable and long lasting. These boots last me about 2 years before I have to replace them. Usually other boots only last me for 1 year. I would recommend these boots if you are on your feet all day.

sole fell off after about 8 months. not impressed, especially for the price.

The best thing you can do is use Dr. Scholls insoles and a deodorizer. Also use a boot dryer when they get wet. These boots lasted 5 years of rather hard abuse before the heal seams tore. I've worked in - 40 degree weather with wool socks for hours at a time. I've also played a handful of pickup basketball games in these, lol. I'm faster than my friends so it leveled the playing field, as these boots aren't made of cheap material and are a bit heavy. Not too heavy though.

I am a field tech in the construction industry. I'm On my feet all day and these boots were very comfortable for about 6-7 months. They didn't tear or wear through on the outside but the insides did break free at the heel.

I am on my 5th pair of Boondock Work Boots. I have had the 1000g insulated, 600g insulated and a non insulated pair. By far the BEST WORK BOOTS for anyone on their feet all day. Usually 12-16 hour days and my feet are not even sore at the end of the day. I wish they made the 8" Boondock Comp Toe - Non insulated. The 600g and 1000g are great for me but a non insulated option would be nice.

I work in NW North Dakota where the windchill is regularly -20° to -30°. Only had these boots for about a month but so far so good. The boots are warm, comfortable and keep my feet dry. I have only been in the elements 3-4 hours at a time. I will have to see how they hold up over the rest of winter.

I was doing my best to try and forget these boots, then Timberland sent me an email asking for a review. I realize Americans are getting fatter by the second, but I didn't know that all this fattening was going to the feet. I don't have a wide foot, I don't have a club foot, I don't have a flintstone foot. To me, my feet are of average width and volume, so ordered the medium width. Apparently today's medium was yesterday's EE because my feet swim in these boots. Even with the laces pulled so tight the leather nearly touches over my instep my forefoot still wasn't stable. All this flopping about caused some serious callus buildup. On the flip side, this ridiculous sizing means I can still wear XL clothes even though I've gained 40lbs. For me, these boots sucked, they're sitting in my closet waiting to rot into oblivion. I had such high hopes.

I have a pair that are5 years old and a 2 year old pair... The sole is starting to split on the 5 year old pair but it is minimal.. The 2 year old pair are in great shape though the inner liner is bunching on the bottom... I wear my boots every day constantly walking.... The soles are the most comfortable that i have found

My first pair of the Timberland boondock 8 inch lasted well over a year and a half. My Red wings top tier pair lasted half that with poor customer service. Needless to say these are my new go to work boots. I'm currently looking to purchase my second pair now!!!

Excellent for railroad work when it comes to walking on ballast for hours on end in the yard. Warm in the winter, waterproof in heavy rain, and when paired with the right socks, you're going to have a great shift.

I put these on and my back was instantly revived. I'm a Journeyman Refrigeration and A/C Tech, I'm up and down ladders all day, on my knees, dragging my toes, walking in oily machine rooms, washing out walk in cooler evaporators, working in industrial freezers and coolers, crawling and walking on steel racks, walking on roof tops with different types of substrates. I have worn out every boot on the market within 6 to 8 months except for Whites Boots. I never owned a pair of Whites because they're $500.00 custom hand made boots. I generally walk 7-8 miles a day on a variety of surfaces, wet, dry, rough, smooth, slippery, iced up floors, oily surfaces in commercial kitchens and machine rooms The key to making boots last is taking care of them with regular cleaning, conditioning the leather and keeping the soles clean. I use boots trees everyday when they aren't in use. These have been the best boots I've ever owned, they beat out Redwing Irish Setters USA made boots, Chippewa, Wolverine, Justin, Danner, Ariat, Georgia Boots.... You name the boot, I've worn it and wore it! What else can I say, I like 'em!

I honestly had very low expectations for these boots. After wearing them for a few months they've exceeded those expectations, but not by much. Pros - Comfortable, Warm, Great Traction Cons - Sole adhesion, leather, and waterproof failed sooner than similarly priced boots, making these somewhat overpriced in my opinion. Buy them for ~175 and I think you'll be pleased.

Hi I'm a Plumber on a high rise site I was hoping theses would last me at least threw the winter but I've owned them for 2 months, they are not water proof there barely water repellant, aren't holding up and starting to get rips in the leather and the insoles started to peel and there are holes where the ball of the big toe sits. I would not recommend this as a winter boot, they are very comfortable and have amazing grip on the bottom but cannot survive threw an even mild winter, I've bought cheap 70$ boots that have lasted 8 months I feel like I have wasted alot of money trusting these boots they have been a big disappointment!!!!!

Tried to file a warranty claim and they said they were over used. I understand they are work boots and will wear out but just don't have a warranty if your not going to honor it.

Electrician work wear not durable and not lasting for the price they should last more than 6 months!

I have owned a pair of these amazing boots for 3 years and wear them every day for work. I work both on the ground and on the roof and even climbing towers in pretty nasty cold temps in Alaska. No idea how they work in hot or humid, but these work wonders fighting the cold with the insulation. the anti fatigue technology works wonders on those long days of being on your feet. The composite toe is amazing. I can't say how nice it is to have a quality boot that doesn't only have steel toes. In Alaska it is extremely cold and steel toe boots get cold fast and that increases the risk of frostbite, so it is a serious concern that I no longer have to worry about thanks to Timberland Pro's. Altogether best boot I've had in a really long time.

I work as a trash driver and no helper .. that mean in and out ... two steps from the truck and I do all the hard work .. trhowing bags and pushing and wheeling out heavy 2yd compactor and containers all day .. so this is for real action .. and I'm on my six month and they still going for a litt more ... but I want more from this nice product and thanks to Timberland's my job is more comfortable... after all the trash lol

I use these boots for construction.i deal with water everyday they last forever super waterproof and the most comfortable boot ever made.however I have smaller feet they never have then in stock in any store I go to and it takes months to get a pair.they need to fix that,that is discrimination to little feet at its finest lol still will never ever wear another boot but these.

Best boot I have purchased, I usually go with the a slip on steel toe, was looking for something more comfortable and easy to get on and off, and the Timberland Pro Boondock boot is the way to go. Naturally having a high arch in my foot my feet tend to get tired very quickly, needless to say I don't have foot fatigue anymore.

I work in a manufacturing plant where we build windows. I've owned a pair of the 6" boondocks for a long while now and that's suprising because im a big guy and I'm on my feet 10 to 12 hours a day, always sitting glass on my boots, walking on broken glass and constantly moving, so I can break down a pair of boots pretty quickly. I've tried a multitude of other brands and none have lasted more than 8 months except for my boondocks. They're amazingly comfortable all day every day. I even wear them outside of work because they're more comfortable than my nikes. I also live in Florida so they get soaked by thunderstorms and slopped with mud regularly and my feet stay dry and comfy. I'm getting a pair of 8" due to my supination. I've worn the right boot of my six inch pair down to the point that it's very uneven but that's not the boots fault. Could probably get another year out of my old pair if it wasn't for that. Timberland makes great boots and the boondocks are incredible. I'll be ordering a pair of 8" Thursday to replace my 6" because my old boondocks served me well and I have every reason to stick with timberland.

These boots are very durable and comfortable, even after 12 hour shifts. They also keep your feet dry on rainy days (to a certain point of course, but acceptable overall). The 8" model really adds extra ankle support which helps on strenuous jobs. Buying these boots are a great investment. You get what you pay for, which is a great pair of boots.

These boot are a combination of two already great boots from Timberland. The regular boondocks and the crosscuts with the grip handles. Definitely recommend.

Comfortable and supportive for all day comfort for 15 hour days. Insulation keeps feet warm in the winter and cool in the summer.
