Boots returned. Ordered 10EEE. The length was fine but were too narrow. The shoe bottom (soles) were 2 layers of white rubber type compound (a thicker cushy bottom below a very thin but much harder layer. I thought that was sewn to the shoe allowing a cobbler to stretch the width of the shoe. I removed the inserts and discovered 2 hollow rivets in each boot (1 in the heel area and one in the metatarsal area) incorrectly hammered in place leaving all 4 of them very sharp and ragged. I don't know if they would have ever made contact with one's foot after the removeable insert was reinserted. RETURN
