Being in the East hat is sure to turn heads. I like the unique slope front. Buffalo feathers perfect for cold winter and covering my head!

bought hat last month was very pleased made well looks great came in a nice box, and price was right. lots of compliments when i wear it very pleased.

I love the hat! Bought it in 7 1/8 (my usual size), and it was WAY too small. Conservatively exchanged for a 7 1/4, which was still way too small. Just sent in my exchange for a 7 3/8 with my fingers crossed. Like I said: LOVE the hat, just frustrated with the difference in sizing. I own many Stetsons (and others), and I've never been above a 7 1/4. Eagerly anticipating the replacement; hoping I don't have to exchange for a 7 1/2....

Bought hat for my son's 35th birthday. He had wanted a nice hat for years. Decided this was a good year to give to him as he is a very busy chef in Mass. Went online and saw your website, email my son the link, he picked the hat out. Loves it, one of the best gifts I could have given him.

I’ll admit I’m a newbie. Over 50 and first cowboy hat. Didn’t even know how to measure my head for size. Dr. Google helped. Wanted a slightly different hat style so I chose this one. Loved Lonesome Dove so the name caught my eye. Guess their marketing worked. I’m very glad it did. It came tight, apparently it’s a more round shape as opposed to oval. I picked up a hat stretcher and some sprits, let it sit over night…presto perfect fit. I’ve worn it out to the barn in high winds and rain. Hat stayed on and rain didn’t change the appearance.

Hat just a tad big but able to put some thin leather strips under hatband to tighten up. Didn't think hat was as soft of hand as reviewed but hey its a stetson and it looks good after I steamed and hand shaped it to suit using my old teakettle.

Have to bring back for the 2nd time because size to small when different style hats fit in that size. There needs to be someone who can measure your head and get tou the exact size

True to size, perfect fit. Very pleased with the quality and the style is just what I wanted. Stetson rules! Had it for a few weeks now and get lots of compliments.

As a writer of Westerns and alternative-history adventures, I was looking for the perfect cowboy hat to wear for the author's photo on the back cover of my new novel, PAXTON VERSUS THE ARMADA. I ordered the Stetson Gus-crown Buffalo-Felt hat when it went on sale just before Christmas, and I'm definitely pleased with it. The front doesn't dip quite as much as I would like, and the sides turn up at a rather acute angle, but I plan to do some subtle reshaping. The fit is great, and the hat looks terrific. (Wait'll you see my picture on the back cover!)

LOVE the hat. Got it for my birthday and one week later someone tripped and spilled a coffee wth extra cream and extra sugar on it!! Just kinda blotted it up thinking I need to bring it to the cleaners. Nope, next day, not a mark on it. I'm thouroughly sold on Stetsons from now on!!

I really like this hat, but I did end up returning it because it runs smaller than my other Stetson Buffalo cowboy hat, the "Drifter". I wear a 7-3/4, which is hard to find at all, and this one felt like about a 7-5/8. It is labeled as an Oval fit, and that may be the difference. I will keep looking on Shepler's for another stylish 7-3/4 hat.

I would highly recommend this hat. The fit is perfect and true to its sizing. It holds up to wind and rain well and I imagine as winter sets in it will stand up to snow as well. The material is durable as well as comfortable. As I live in Canada shipping is only available through air shipping and I was told it would be 4 - 8 business days and much to my surprise it arrived in 2! I would buy another one of these in a heartbeat.

This hat is better than I expected. The 4X Buffalo construction is sturdy and the color is deep and even all around. Brim size is perfect for keeping the sun/rain off a persons neck and ears. Style works well for work and casual wear.

Nothing beats the quality of a Stetson Hat. Fit and Finish are the best. I came quickly but in a Boot Barn hat box (I'm just a bit of a box snob) So I contacted customer service and they were able to ship me a Stetson box. How wonderful!!

I ordered this buffalo felt Gus hat last weekend, and it arrived today, Thursday, via UPS. This hat for me is a step up, being made of buffalo fur instead of wool. The hat oops really nice, and has a look of quality, especially comparing to my wool hats. A nice rich color. Nice feel. My one concern was sizing, after reading many reviews that said the hat runs small. I recently purchased a Resistol George Strait hat in 7.5 and it is plenty big. After reading the reviews on this hat, I decided to order a 7 5/8. GLAD I did! A perfect fit, Snug enough to stay on my head in about any situation. This hat looks so nice , I want to keep it that way, but I like it so much, I will be wearing it a lot. I feel like I got a lot for my money, and will probably buy hats made of buffalo felt in the future instead of wool; definitely worth the extra $. A good price point for me. I definitely recommend this hat. Just order a size up.

Good looking hat Fit a little tight, but the steam kettle and my hat jack fixed that. Very satisfied with the hat.

But! It does run small. Had to return it and am now waiting for the proper size. It is a very good looking hat - just need to get it to fit.

Well made, fine craftsmanship The Stetson company has made great hats for a long time, USA made. Did not have a 7 1/2 size in stock, so i'm using my hat stretcher on this 7 3/8, working out just fine. Very satisfied.
