I bought this vest for a wedding. Ordered a large (same size as my shirt) and it was very tight so had to order and XL still fit tight. Other than that a great vest.

These vests run small. While I like the quality of the vest the buyer needs to go up a size or two when purchasing.

Vest is very nice however it runs very small and I am glad I ordered an extra size to make up for it just in case. It's for my wedding and I needed it to fit all the guys.

Based on earlier reviews, I was concerned it might be too small, but it was not - it's especially broad across the top of the shoulders. Suede and rayon are beautiful. Love it.

This review is more about the outstanding service I received from Sheplers than about the vest itself, although the vest is very nice - soft suede and beautiful style. I had to reorder the vest twice because of size issues. First ordered a large which was too small, then an XL which was also too small, and finally the 2XL which fits me perfectly. On my last return I enclosed a note that since it was my fault for improper measuring I would be willing to pay the cost of shipping the 2XL to me. Sheplers did not ask for shipment payment, and in each instance I received the replacement vest in a very timely manner. It is nice to deal with a company which obviously values customer service and support.

The extra large I ordered was so much too small that it is more like a size medium. Unfortunately, this means that the only next larger size won't fit either. Very unfortunate, because my dad loved the vest. Also unfortunate was the $8.99 I spent to have a product shipped that is NOT what is was supposed to be.

I really was looking for a couple of nice vests. These are nice. I like the quality BUT they run at least two sizes smaller than marked. I had to return them. Very disappointed. To be fair, the description said "runs small" so I ordered one size up and they weren't even close.

I think the vest is a real nice vest, it fits a little tight, I normally wear an Extra Large I am glad that I order and 2 X but it is still tight, but think a 3 X wud be too large, it would also be nice if it was Suede front and back.. I had one made like this for myself while I was in the USN station in Ireland, had a tailor made suit of Suede, with vest, it finally got to worn out to wear anymore and gave it away!!

Wear a vest everyday through the winter, this one is very comfortable and suede looks and feels great !

bought this for my western rustic wedding. I bought 4 in different sizes. they are great and I love the picks I made. Also they can be worn for another event or evening out. great product and came in nice. and packaged

I ordered a 2xl, which is my normal size in everything I wear. Tried to button the vest and it was too tight.

Ordered my regular size, 4xl. Not even close, way too small. Gave it to my son who is a 2xl and he can’t even button it.

We bought these for a wedding, 1 in Dark brown, and 4 in light brown. I was initially a bit worried because previous reviews that I had read listed them as running really small. We bought all mediums just in case (the chart had us ordering smalls) and I'm pleased to say they fit just fine. So yes, they run a little small, but not the "2 sizes" folks were saying. They are very thin, but that was perfect for our boys who needed a touch of color and class but not a lot of extra weight or heat for our "rustic" themed wedding. All in all, I was very pleased and the guys looked great!

It’s a very well made vest. Fits perfect and it’s light and it looks great.

I have never worn anything larger than a size large. This vest was too small and I had to send it back. I guess I need an extra large size here. This is the first time ever I’ve needed anything larger than a size large.

My son-in-law is a big man so when I saw you had a 4X size I was so pleased. When the vest arrived it did indeed say it was a 4X...but when he tried it on he couldn't!!! He says it is probably a large or X-large!!! I made my choice of size based on the measurements in your ad. He will return it next week. Very disappointing Christmas!

We purchased a 4X vest, & the sizes for the vests are not their true sizes. The sizes run really, really small. The 4X is more like 1-2X. Very disappointed, as we were shopping to have my hubby wear for his friends wedding as best man.

Based on other reviews I read I ordered the 2X. Good thing. I always wear Extra Large, but it would have been too small. This 2x fits just great!

Sizing is wrong. I wear 3x with other companies but ordered a 4x to be safe and was too small to wear.

Fantasia quality vest that fits just a little large. Next one will be a size down. Service from Sheplers was second to none, getting my vest to Australis quicker than ordering a pair of jeans locally. 10 out of 10 all around.

Its hard to order when a large jacket fits perfectly but a large vest is toooo small

I purchased this Vest based on the color in the photograph on line. I also purchased a shirt specifically to match that color. The photo appeared to be almost cocoa in color when actually the Vest color was very dark brown. I was disappointed but the quality was good and the price reasonable so I kept the Vest. Will be hesitant to purchase additional clothing. Billy E. Tingen

I wear an xl in shirts, etc. This was a large at best with an xl label. I am waiting for a 2x to be shipped.

Vest is well-made and good looking. But caution: you may need to size up 2 sizes to get a fit! They run really small. Bought for my hubby, who didn't want it when he had to go up yet another size... too bad, his loss.

Arrived in perfectly preserved condition, extra special care in the shipment and packaging, I was really impressed!

No surprises. Bought up in size as other reviewers suggested and once we cinched in the belt in the back it was perfect!
