      Shoe was as shown, seem to have been built well. Too bad that they were a bit tight and about 1/2 +/- size small. Returned, sad to say. Looked to be a nice pair of shoes.

      Ordered size 10 boys by mistake. Needed size 10 men's and reordered. Returned size 10 boys and received size 10 men's and they fit perfect! Shoe was just as pictured! Very happy with this chukka boot just like all the guys wore at high school in the 1970's!! Thanks!!

      They are flat soled which is great if you are in and out alot and dont want to track in a bunch of mud.

      the look is just what I wanted in a casual shoe,they are just too narrow for me.I think the gum sole is going to wear out too quick for me,I walk on rough surfaces a lot.

      I really didn't know what to expect in ordering these gum soled suede chukka's. I was pleasantly surprised because they fit well and looked good as well. The lace up is different than other shoes but not a difficult thing to figure out. At first I tied them too loosely and it was apparent that I needed to tighten up for the best results. I am glad that I bought these gum soles because they are very comfortable. I would recommend that anyone that buys these also get some suede protectant spray, available at shoe stores and many other stores as well.
