Only wore them maybe 4 timed since I bought them. So far very happy with them.

25+ years in corrections and theses are the only boots I prefer to wear in the work environment. They make some durable hiking boots as well. I’m on about my 12th pair as of my most recent purchase. Depending on my activities , I get an average of 4 years per pair. Usually with heavy use in extreme weather conditions.

One day break in, leather is supple and parade gloss shine. Buy some heavier laces when you them as a back up. Much better than Bates.

Great boot, good quality in my opinion. Shines up real nice. Just buy better laces for them. The laces it comes with are too short.

Second pair of this style I own. One insulated one not. I use them for riding boots on my bike.

From the second I put on my new waterproof jumpboots I noticed that they felt tighter then my non waterproof jumpboots, I later found this "tightness" to be a result of the thinsulate within the boots. While it's taking me a bit longer to break these in I fully recommend them to anyone needing a good quality, reliable, and warm boot for the winter. I recommend getting them abit bigger if youve never had them before. Thanks Rocky Boots for another great pair of boots! This is my 3rd pair and I will continue to buy then for years to come!

great fit and support, basically no break-in time.

I've worn these boots almost everyday since I received them (duty) and have not had 1 problem or complaint. If your not used to leather and you are in a vehicle a bit, just turn on the floor heater and it will soften the leather to break in faster to your feet. So far these boots are the best I've ever owned^^

I'd really give them a 3.5 but I can't do half scores. The boots are very sharp looking, soft lined, comfortable, well padded, the laces leave some room for improvement...I'm still breaking mine in, the one flaw I've noted is when you unzip the side zipper there is a lining that limits how wide you can open the boot without having to unlace, personally I can't get my foot out without unlacing the boot. I understand the goal was padding and to protect from zipper chafing but given that it doesn't open wide enough without unlacing it, it defeats the purpose of the quick in/out of the side or jump zipper.

Me showing up for work in a pair of boots that are not shinned, clean or, good looking is a definite NO-GO in my world. These boots feel amazing, shines up nicely, and look good. I sported these boots yesterday at my graduation and many of my classmates addressed how nice they look on me. I replaced my original laces with longer ones due to personal preference. I did not like the boot! Zipper did not function properly. Shoe did not fit me right.

I'm a fire investigator, I depend on a boot to keep me safe. I'm walking on glass, nails,water sewage and who knows what all the time. In the winter in Upstate NY it can get as low as -25 deg. These boots keep me warm and safe. This is my second pair.

The zipper on the side of these boots is no longer the heavy tooth zipper it once was. It’s now a fine tooth zipper that hangs up constantly. The parade gloss coating has changed to a semi gloss. The leather on the toe now feels like bonded leather to me. The quality of the boots has dropped significantly.

Excellent boots! Comfortable and great quality. Was able to get a great mirror shine on the cap toe in no time.

These boots are very durable this is my third pair in 15 years And hold a shine do to all types of weather

Recently purchased these,classic styling,great comfort,true to size. Didn't like the laces,put other ones on them,Looking forward to breaking them in and stomping through the winter weather..

I had a pair of boots I loved for about 10 years. Wore them almost every day. As you can imagine, they wore out. I was surprised to find the same boots were still available. I ordered them on back order, they came in quickly and were shipped right away. I love these boots. It’s like being home again.

Great boots thus far, but only had them a few weeks. I'll leave a full review after a few winter seasons.

I bought these for my kid. They were a compromise. I wanted insulated, waterproof, and tall for winter cold and snow. My kid wanted aesthetics and style. These boots fitted both needs. My kid has found the following problems: --The side zipper gets stuck easily going both up and down - this is because he ties them really tight and has not trained the material inside the zipper to stay out of the way properly. I believe that dedication to this training will solve this problem. -- He says that he does not like wearing them at school all the time like he wanted to because they squeak when he walks. I have not yet gathered if one is squeaking or both are squeaking when he walks. I have not yet gathered information on if this is leather squeak or sole squeak. Leather squeak is expected and is not bad. Sole squeak is not good and will keep him from wearing them. I have yet to determine if this is fixable. My teen wants quiet shoes. We have not had them long enough yet to speak to longevity. But so far I think that they are excellent. They do exactly what we bought them for. Time will tell how long they will last. They seem well made - like I did not get them out of the box and know right away that they will not last like I have with many other boots. These feel well made. Time will tell how long it takes the sole to separate from the upper.

This is my second pair of these jump boots. The first pair with simply amazing. The leather of the toe was very smooth and had a high-shine straight out of the box. After some breaking in they were extremely comfortable. I was impressed with this product so much that I decided that I was going to finish off my career wearing only these boots. I received my second pair this month. I paid $20 less as compared a year and a half ago and straight out of the box I can tell that the quality wasn't there as compared to my first pair. The leather on the toe wasn't nearly as smooth and didn't have nearly the shine or the luster as compared to the first pair. It looks like they attempted to reinforce the leather tab that covers the top of the zipper with additional stitching however this only created a perforation and it ripped right off while I was putting on the boot for the second time. I was just hoping for a little bit more consistency on product quality.

I bought these boots a couple weeks ago and am very happy. They are warm for the cold winters

So far as my first real pair of boots they fit great and seem very well made and warm too. Im not sure if these boots are so heavy by nature, style or what but when wearing em they feel like heavy blocks on my feet sorta like Frankenstein in his heavy boots. For example its difficult to run in them.

As always, Rocky did not disappoint. The boots are holding up well. Being only 200 grams insulated, they aren't horrible in moderate temperatures. Paired with wool socks and your feet will stay incredibly warm. Also very quick to get on and off.

Great boot. No break required as far as comfort and blisters go. A little tight getting into until the leather stretched. Great product!

All of the reviews said that they had wished they went with a wide so I figured they ran narrow, nope I got a wide and now I don’t need a wide, thought about returning them but they probably won’t take them back since our prison floods and I’ve had to do fence checks twice a night in almost knew Deep mud but....they do hold up good with water and cold that’s a plus

Purchased for Valentine's Day. My boyfriend is excited to put these to use. He's purchased these in the past and noticed higher quality material, standard and craftsmanship with this pair.

I've been wearing this type of Boots for 34 years ( 24 years Military, 10 years Law Enforcement). I have never had a pair of Boots more comfortable than these. They shine up nice and look just as good in a dress uniform as they do a BDU style uniform.

Boots are awesome if you need inspection worthy shine! Very easy to polish! Con: super heavy boots! Very well insulated to the point your feet burn and sweat while indoors! Pro: best used for outdoor cold rainy weather and would work well for kicking doors down.

I bought a pair of these 5 years ago ant there finally ready for replacement love them and I'm getting another pair had to get a full size smaller than my usual size. They took about 2 weeks to fully break in but after we're my favorite of all my boots thanks rocky for a great product. These boots are made for walkin.. And running and whatever you can think of

I wore these boots one day with no problems. The fit and finish are top notch. The second day I went to zip them up and the zipper ripped right off the boot-junk. Keep in mind this I returned the first pair because the zipper seperated while lacing the boots for the first time. I have owned three pairs of this exact boot previously I love these boots. They have always lasted until worn out, waterproofing is great, tread is great and very much oil resistant. Rocky changed the zipper, now these boots are useless, Im getting my money back.

These boots are great. Lightweight and perfect for long days on duty. Waterproof is a must for South Florida patrol and these boots have not failed me yet!

They’re very comfortable, however well within a year the liner came unstitched from the inside, near the ankle area of the upper.

This is my third pair of these boots and I use to love them. They have replaced the large/course tooth heavy duty zipper, with a fine toothed zipper . If it weren’t for the zipper I would give this product 5 stars, but the new zipper is terrible. It gets stuck constantly making it extremely difficult to get your boots off . For the first time in many years I regret buying these boots.

I'm very happy with these boots, very good purchase, only issue I'm having is the right boot waterproofing keeps getting stuck in the zipper, but always comes undone very easily.

Boot a really high quality. I have a pretty thick calf and even witness boots being high i can still wear them. after about the second night (10 hours at a time) however the back of the boot exhibited a wave the rubbed right above my ankle resulting in a skinned patch. i ha e since purchased boot socks in hopes to fix this problem in the future. yet to have tested in the rain or shallow water.
