This was my first Rocky purchase ever. I ordered these and the Postal Chukka Boots. The Oxfords were a little too low for my liking but the Chukka’s were perfect! I returned the Oxfords with no problems and ordered another 4 pairs of Chukka’s! If you are into a lower type of shoe than these would be perfect.

2nd pair of work shoes for me. Excellent, certainly recommend to others.

was recommened about 10 yrs by local foot guru doctor, had foot pain, shin splints etc, never looked back. I buy a new pair about every 2 yrs, tried other brands but keep coming back. am a housekeeping inspector so am on feet all day

I been wearing the Rocky 500 for over 20 years. The best shoe for my feet and orthodics. I recently bought two pairs. Big problem : The shoe laces are worth less. I must tie a knot every time I wear them. Then I must remove the shoe and in good light, untie the knot. I had to trekto the nearest shoe repair shop for non-slipping laces.

I've had these for about a year and a half now and they are the best work boot I've ever owned. I have very bony feet that hurt a lot and all the other expensive shoes I bought were a waste of money. I've recommended these to 3 other people at work and they like theirs as much as I like mine.

Been wearing this brand for 3 years. I’m a Custodian on my feet for 8 hrs a day. These Postal Approved shoes are the best. Made in the USA! Very reasonably priced. Buy em you’ll love them!

I bought my last pair of Rocky's almost ten years ago. They've held up to daily use, and then some. I gave up on wearing sneakers; these are comfortable enough to go for miles over road and trail alike and look fine with any outfit I might throw together.

Purchased this show hoping for a comfortable show to wear while working long hours on my feet as an usher at the local arena. Find them to be a bit on the heavy side and the soles are really thick. Haven't worn them but once so far, so hopefully they will feel better as time goes on

I bought these boots about a month ago. I have only worn them twice. They rub the tops of my feet so bad, I can't hardly walk at the end of the day. Unfortunately i wore them outside so i can't return them. Wish i would have known about that. Very disappointed in Rocky, Never had any problems with rocky before, oil now.

Let me count the pairs. I have bought over 5 pairs to date and I pray Rocky will always make this style of shoe. Great for everyday wear, and even better for dress. they also buff up a wonderful shine. I plan to never buy another style until I die. I am also a Rocky boot fan. PS: I am the worst shoe shopper because I am so picky, and my wife does not like to shoe shop with me.

I bought a pair of these maybe 10yrs ago and were good; worn lightly for 2-3 years until onset of some medical issues, but once I got through that and learned to walk again, I pulled them out of the box and started wearing them again and soon noticed the soles were basically disintegrating and separating from the rest of the shoe, which still looked great. I've been slathering them with ‘Shoe-Goo’ to extend their life, but it just keep getting worse which is a shame as the uppers are still in fairly good condition. The cost has increased since then, so not sure if I'll be able purchase them again on disability. You used to have a store in Toronto (where I live) several years ago which I miss.

I wore these when I was a letter carrier, now working as a Defense Department Civilian I have bought my 3rd pair in 10 years. Won't wear any other shoe, very comfortable and long lasting. Made in the U.S.A.

I retired from the Postal Service 15 years ago, but I still buy this shoe whenever the previous, long lasting, pair wears out. I wear them every day of my life, as they are the most comfortable, protective, and (in my snowy area) have great traction.

I have bought this shoe the last five times. I am a supervisor in a factory and I am close to sixty. On my feet all day and these shoes are great

For the summer months I like a short boot for the heat but with support - this one is perfect

Only worn them about a week and having to return them do to craftsmanship. The sole is separating from the shoe.

I bought this on august 29 2016, it is November 17 2019, it is three years and three months and these shoes are still kicking. The reason for the 3 stars is because the insole for these shoes are too thick, which makes the back of your heels stick out a little and the shoes do not hold your feet properly. The shoe never fell off my feet but i never like the feeling that my shoes were going to fall off. On a second note, the base of the shoe are way to wide! makes driving a learning curve because when you swap from gas to break or vice versa, the corner of the bottom might bother you. I takes some time to get used to. My job requires 90% driving and 10% walking which is why i found this annoying. I got myself a terra suspension insole from Rocky and it fixed the heel sticking out issue. I used these shoes more often afterwards. And the spare insole i got from these shoes (which are really good btw) for another pair of shoes i had. Attached you'll find the shoes' current state. Bear in mind that many times i forgot to wipe off the salt when it snows, which deteriorates the shoe much faster.

Bought these "Postal Approved" shoes for my husband, but they were very uncomfortable and we returned them.

I have worn these shoes for years. They used to have a flat soul, which I liked better. The shoe laces require a double knot to keep tied, very slippery.

My husband has been wearing these shoes for 4-5 years and he loves them. He wears them almost every day and says they are the most comfortable shoes he has ever had. I buy him at least one pair a year!

WOW service was terrible @ Prescott Valley store, they acted like they did not have time for me, although there was no one else in the store, so I bought shoes online @ boot barns sight, gave my money to some one out of town. So much for shopping local! Hope P.V. got the tax dollars, won't go back to store. The shoes are great!

Very good product! Takes a bit to break in, but very comfortable! Last pair lasted 3 years.

Pain on my feet and legs I can't wear not even for a minute!

I weigh about 290lbs and walk/stand on concrete 10hrs to 16hrs a day. I work as customs officer at the Southern Border where we only get to sit during a 30 min break each shift. These shoes by far are a hidden jewel in Duty Boots despite the fact that they are meant to be worn by US Postal Service. Nonetheless, I would recommend the version of this shoe with high top for ankle support. If you love your feet and don't care about looks, don't think too long about getting them.

Bought the TMC 5000 mens and have a problem with right shoe. Sole and right arch not seamed correctly with adhesion. Have had this problem before. See photo.

I started buying this model since 2005. Threw away my orthotics. Never used them again. The inside insert is so much support and it molds to your foot. Takes a little time but well worth it. The uniform store here in Seattle stopped selling them. So I went directly to the mfg and purchased. Always happy with this shoe. For a heavy guy like I am, it was a task finding a shoe that would hold up. I checked with my postal carrier to see what he wore, this model was it. I can't wear sneakers anymore so I just wear this shoe. Believe me you won't be sorry once you get them broke in. I work in maintenance in a hospital, lots of walking all night.

Like others report about the sole and the rubber disconnecting, it happened to me. But much worse, after using the same model shoe for 20 years and buying multiple pairs over the years, I am reporting that the quality declined, something is off. The shoe is no longer comfortable for long walks. The sole is disconnecting from the shoe two months after purchase. The feel is simply off. I used to recommend this product, no more.
