Have being wearing it this model of shoe for over 20 years at the USPS.Up until now I had been satisfied with the style fit and comfort. And yes the shoelaces are a problem. I have extra New pairs still in the boxes As I was hoping to wear them well into retirement. Recently I got out a brand new pair as my old pair was getting worn out. I wore them one day And the soles started to crack and come apart. The rubbery cushion in them is also disintegrating into a powdery substance. This happened to the last two pairs I have put on. Just put on another brand new pair keeping my fingers crossed.

I READ BOTH NEGATIVE AND POSTIVE REVIEWS, REFERNCING THIS SHOE. I WILL LET EVERYONE KNOW IF MY FEET HURTS OR NOT, AFTER A WEEK OR TWO. EVERYONE HAVE BEEN CONSISTANT ABOUT THE SHOE STRING (LACES). HOPEFULLY ROCKY HAS A FIX OR FIXED THIS ISSUE. I WOULDN'T WANT TO BE A ONE TIME CUSTOMER. HERE'S A THOUGHT, PUT COTTON SHOE STRINGS IN THE BOX, EVERYONE THAT WENT THAT ROUTE SEEMS PLEASED. JUST A THOUGHT.

My first pair of Postal Shoes were still comfortable , I put 2300 miles would recommend for people on the go and purchase a pair

These are extraordinarily comfortable shoes making a long walk a pleasure. My only gripe is the type of laces on the shoes: too thin.

I walk a three mile round trip to and from work five days per week. At work, I am on my feet all day long except for lunch. My flat feet and boney knees no longer hurt since I began wearing these shoes. I used to buy work shoes once every year. These last me 18 months before the soles are so worn as to affect my gait. I do replace the insoles after a year to get that extra 6 months. Though too damaged for daily work, I still use the old pairs for gardening, lawn mowing and grunge work. My only criticism are the terrible laces these shoes come with. They are awful to tie and will not stay tied. I've had to retie the same lace twice during my morning or evening commute. As soon as I replace the OEM laces with aftermarket equivalent laces, the problem goes away. I love the shoes, but, the laces suck.

I bought these shoes a few weeks ago for work and there AMAZING not much to say, they are comfartable for all day wear while standing and walking EVEN on concrete

I've worn these same style rocky shoes for over 10 years and every pair of them has worn out the insole behind the heel prematurely. This pair is barely a month old and already blown through the insole. It's time to find a different brand if shoe.

I am a UPS Driver and am on my feet all day. These are the only shoes I have ever bought that I don't have to wear an insole.

So far very happy with these shoes. I do a lot of walking at work and these shoes are great.

A friend recommended these shoes to me and I have been very pleased. They didn't even need breaking in and have been very comfortable to work in.

The shoes are good but the shoelaces are terrible! These thin shoelaces will not stay tied. Every hour you have to re-tie your shoes. These synthetic laces are slick and will not stay tied even in a knot.

I haven't worn the shoes a lot yet, but they are very comfortable. The quality seems to be excellent and the soles provide good traction. Great looking style.

Im a carrier for usps don’t buy this they will hurt your foot. After 2 day of use I had cut in feet I don’t recommend.

3rd pair of rockies, my first low cuts problem. .. shoe strings won't stay tied and not long enough to double knot

I have worn these in the past...just recently went back to these. Now I don't know why I ever quit wearing them.

The shoes, for anyone who is on their feet most of the day, are great. This is my 3rd pair. However I have one issue. The laces that came with the shoes DO NOT stay tied, and they resemble the "pencil" thin laces normally found on dress shoes.Perhaps someone in the package department made an error.

I am a retired Postal Clerk, and have continued to wear these shoes for approx 40 years. In the past I have always had good luck with these shoes, they wore well, had good traction on ice, and were comfortable. My most recent pair are a disappointment as one of the shoes hurts my foot on the bottom. I couldnt tell this when I first tried them on, but became apparent after wearing a few hours per day. This pain quit after I went back to my older pair and quit wearing the new pair. I have never had an issue with any of my past Rocky shoes. I didnt bother contacting Rocky about this problem, as I have already wore them for awhile, so I doubt they will do anything about this.

I think the shoe is comfortable and appears to be well made. One thumbs down to the shoe laces. Replaced them right away. The thin and too short factory laces arent worth the struggle.

I got these shoes less than 2 weeks ago. They looked and felt great. After "ONLY the 3rd day wearing them the first layer of the heel has started to wear away and I am now down to a spongy sub layer. After 5 days of wearing them the top layer on the insoles is starting to separate and roll up. WHAT JUNK I wore New Balance Postal shoes for months and did not get wear like this. "NEVER AGAIN"

I've tried a lot of shoes and most have been uncomfortable or tolerable at best. I stand and walk all day on less than perfect surfaces and need a good looking shoe that is well made and COMFORTABLE. The Rocky TMC came to my attention when I was researching shoes and found out about the Post Office certification that Rocky TMCs have. This certification is intended to ensure the shoes will provide all day comfort. I tried the TMCs and can honestly tell you that they are the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. They are more comfortable than my sneakers! I've subjected these shoes to a lot of hard service on wet, sandy, unsteady, and rocky surfaces and both the shoes and the comfort last for years and years. I highly recommend these shoes to anyone who needs a good looking duty shoe that lasts and feels great!

Very comfortable on my feet all day as a auto tech. Wish laces were more durable. And at times the soles feel slippery on concrete but maybe because they are new. Overall happy i bought them.

Will purchase again great shoes. Long lasting. Great for everyday use beside work.

Best shoes I have owned. My feet were killing me each night it felt like I was walking on two tennis balls. TMC feels like a cure and I do not hurt. I am going to get a pair for around the home chores to go with the pair at work.

I have been working in Healthcare for 44 years. I used to buy a rocky nursing shoe that is no longer in production. I loved them & now giving this a try. Initial evaluation is excellent as my bones are not as painful after a 12 plus hour shift since wearing these the shoe strings do need to be replaced, not sure why Rocky has not changed them considering the bad reviews about the laces.

If the snow is deep I wear my Rocky high boots I bought many years ago.

They lasted almost a year. One thing you learn is, why they call them rocky shoes. You will get rocks stuck in the bottem of your shoes everyday. All so my tounge was sewed in wrong and it was always falling to the side.

I became a TE Carrier at the USPS in 2010 and the training carrier recommended these shoes. I have a terrible time with plantar fasciitis so inquired about a different insert when purchasing and the salesman said to just give these a try first. I did and they were the toughest and most comfortable shoes I've ever owned! Lasted 1 year walking in them 6 days a week in snow, rain, heat and the gloom of night!

We purchased these expensive shoes because my husband has had prior foot problems and works on his feet alot. We felt with the good reviews we would invest the money hoping they would help.These made his feet worse and he stopped wearing them after two weeks. Maybe it is just his feet. They are also a little heavy but that is to be expected with a heavy duty shoe.

Easily the best work shoe I've owned, and I've tried a bunch. I'm on my second pair and loving them. I'm a pipefitter at FoMoCo and I can walk in water, coolant, quench oil, and hydraulic oil in the same day. Nevet felt my footing was compromised. For me there is almost zero break in time, comfortable right off the bat. They last about one and a half years and I work about 60 hours a week so they are durable. As a bonus the cushion in the heel puts me over 6 foot tall lol. Highly recommended.

You want more height, and endless comfort, look no further. Only by chance, did I try the TMC, and within days the plantar fascists and heel pain (both feet) resided. So good, I keep a stock of them just to wear in retirement from the USPS, and even take on vacations at the beach. My wife gave up with the black shoe ridicule. My feet love 'em. Oh yeah!, this shoe deserves real shoestrings, thicker and longer, that don't need to retie, continuously.

Bought these a week ago and one shoe is defective and they tell me I have to return them they will check them over and if it’s defective send me a new pair will take 3 weeks r you kidding I need them for work , will never buy rocky again , buy from a reputable company!!!!

My husband is very picky about his work shoes but he likes these.Now I know where to get him shoes.He said it was truly rain proof.He has wide feet.We initially order 2 different pairs at size 9.5 wide but it was smaller.We went to size 10 it it fits him perfect.We appreciate the smooth exchange of shoes by the way.Very professional and it was handled with great effeciency as far as time and packaging.Thank You!!

I am a big guy,290# 6-1". I do work for USPS as an Auto Tech. I`m on my feet all day. Shop work, tow calls, etc. These shoes do not give me the support that I need to stop my feet from aching. Even with extra insoles my feet feel the same as they did with cheaper shoes. I now have a Competitors pair that I can wear all day and my feet feel good. These shoes do feel ok in the morning, and they look good, have great traction.

I am a UPS driver and I have purchased the Rocky TMC shoe for the past 12 years. They are very comfortable,high quality, good looking and made in the USA. I spend 12 hours a day in them and wouldn’t consider any other shoes.

I have been wearing these shoes as a delivery driver for longer than I remember. They are both comfortable and supportive, provide stability and have worn them during light snow with no loss of traction. I usually treat them with mink oil after purchase to repel rain and they polish well. Over twenty years, I believe they may have originally been called Rocky Walkers, I keep a new pair on hand for when my current pair wear out.

I was not reminded of my fond memories wearing Rocky Boots Postal’s when I started in kitchens 40 years ago. I was hoping these shoes would be my savior but instead they felt like heck. The uneven and hard footbed made them unbearable and I even had the size correct. What they say about the laces is true, one of the most expensive shoes on the market uses thread for laces. My wife and I LOL when I showed her... I’m so disappointed!!!

Long in the heel. I will not be buying "ROCKY" in the future. I had to purchase online because of no local sellers. I am not happy with the fit. Too long in the heel, the front and width was a good fit. I now have heavy high dollar "Flip-flops/Clogs".

I've always found this shoe to be perfectly comfortable straight out of the box. The impact absorption and arch support is phenomenal, allowing my feet to withstand longer stretches & hard terrain. One drawback is that their durability is only so-so, but the softer fit / impact cushioning materials may be the price for longevity. My only big gripe is the light "dress shoe" laces they come with are more suited to wingtips than walking shoes, and loosen quickly. I have always had to invest in more substantial boot laces soon after putting these into use.

Great pair of shoes. Wonderful in absorbing the shock from walking on hard pavement. Only wish they would have come with longer shoe laces so I could tie them in double knot.

I have bought this same model of shoes for years. They are comfortable and wear well. My only complaint is the laces that come with them. For example with my current pair, from brand new the laces would not stay tied tight. They would work themselves loose within 15-20 minutes of my work day. I work inside. I was constantly retying them. I got another set of laces from a shoe store and the problem was instantly cured. The new laces looked the same, but were 100 times superior. I recommend your company supplying quality laces to match your quality shoe.

I have been wearing Rocky postal shoes for under three weeks and the stitching is coming apart. Comfort is less than shoes that are $50 lower in price. I need a good quality shoe for work but Rocky is not working out well.

I have bought several pairs of Chukka boots size 13 Ex wide. They fit and wear very well. I ordered the TMC and could not get my foot into them. I think the cut of the shoe more like an athletic shoe fits snugger. Too bad, I liked the look of the shoe but a no go for me.

I tried this shoe thinking that if it’s good enough for postal people it should be good enough for me. I was right! Very comfy.
