I have had 3 pair and i love them all! I use them for turkey hunting! I ve walked many miles in the mountains and they are very light and supportive on your ankle!

I bought these boots about a month ago for pheasant hunting in Iowa. Love their light weight and out of the box "broke-in" fit. I received them on a Friday and hunted all morning Saturday, covering a lot of ground. My feet and back felt fine with no break-in period! The boots got wet and my feet stayed dry. They didn't pick up mud and offered great support on a variety of terrain: hills, wetlands, and mud. They look great too!

I purchased this a few weeks ago and was satisfied! Fit right out of the box, no break-in time. I like the light-weight, comfortable design. I'm concerned about it's durability in the rough, but so far it's doing well.

Despite what the description says these being warm weather boots, these will keep your feet plenty warm in weather well below 30F. I would say once you get to the point of 10F or below then you'll need to get some insulating socks on. These are extremely comfortable and have great grip. These boots also look great and with some work pants on look more like dressy shoes and I wear them to work everyday in a semi-formal environment (in an office tower). As many recommend if you have any doubts that your feet are narrow then I would go for the wide boots. Mind are pretty average and the wide boots fit perfectly. They seem to run true to the average size of shoes that I get. After wearing these when I put on a pair of vans (what I used to normally wear) it's very uncomfortable for me to adapt so these will definitely spoil your feet in terms of comfort!! In terms of hiking they work great in both dry and wet conditions. Also I do quite a lot of walking since I work and live in a downtown area so these work great for walking on concrete a lot. I've had this pair through two very rough winters with multiple foot plus snow storms and worked great for wading through deep snow and kept my feet plenty warm. After a year and a half of owning and probably walking probably multiple hundreds of miles in them the tread is still holding up quite like it was when I bought them.

We bought these as a Christmas present for my father-in-law. He had a pair years ago and said they were the most comfortable boots he'd ever worn. Other brands give him blisters, even after multiple uses.

Rooky Boots were great because the sent me an email and notified me that I have a year warranty on manufacturer defects. I sent the my old boots to them and within a week I had a brand new pair of boots. Now I give them 5 stars for their excellent customer service.

Good for walking, long workdays, and they keep your feet from sweating. This pair of boots has lasted me almost 2 years. The stitching is coming undone from the inside sole which is why I'm on here replacing them. I would still recommend these boots just based on comfort. Two years of breathable foot comfort make these boots worth every penny!

I purchased a pair of these boots about a month ago and they are comfortable and easy to break in.

I haven't really worn these boots a lot, but I have taken a few hikes with them. I bought them primary for bird hunting in the fall. The boots are light weight and seem well made. After my first short hike though I noticed that the insoles are terrible. They are too think by the arch and cause the arch to dig in with discomfort. I had to replace them and with the new insoles, they are very comfortable. Rocky should immediately replace the insoles on all these boots as they are very poorly made. I will not buy another Rocky boot until I see that they take this action.

Got this boot for my husband as a Christmas gift. He will only wear this brand and I see why now. This is a very handsome boot, he uses them all the time including for our hikes.

I've been buying these boots for years, I wear them everyday for about a year to business meeting on the job site and to the woods, after about a year I buy a new pair and use the old ones for chores and dirty jobs. At any time you'll find 3or4 pairs of these boots either short or tall in my house. You will not be disappointed in these boots, I've not been able to find another manufactur that makes anything as good as these boots.

Nice soft boot with no need to break them in. Good traction on snow and ice. The only bad thing was the thin bottoms. Had to get so pads to put in them.

Order a pair of boots for Christmas, seemed a little large so I ordered a ½ size smaller. They fit perfectly but had a defect on the inside heal. Contacted the return department and got return authorization for 1 pair and an exchange on 2nd pair. Got refunded for both pairs so now I'm at over a month with no new work boots. Buy boots elsewhere, my experience has been a huge inconvenience

What makes this boot a winner for me is the fourth eyelid going up. It lays wider than the rest of the eyelids and most importantly; it rests right at the pivot point of the foot. This helps because I have used other boots with all the eyelids in-line and they bother my nerve at the pivot point on my foot. In my opinion; all tall boots should have the fourth eyelid placed behind the foot joints so that you can flex the foot naturally as these boots have. Most perfect made boot.

I have worn these boots the last 2 years in the mountains of NM and CO elk hunting, NY chasing whitetails, and in PA also chasing whitetails. They are the best boots I've ever owned. No foot blisters, AND waterproof. They are like wearing sneakers in the woods. Please ROCKY, never stop making them, but I bought a second pair just in case.

This is my third pair over many many years. Purchased the original pair for hunting, soon they became work boots, now they are my everything boots. Very durable and dependable. When they say waterproof they mean waterproof. Wore the last pair so long they had two inch tears in the sides and my feet stayed dry in snow and water puddles. This is the first pair of Rockys I have ever bought. They are very comfortable to wear. The reason I gave them is I have narrow feet and the D width is too wide so the move on my feet.

I have had lots of boots and none compare to this boot for "all purpose use"*. they are awesome for casual walking, hiking, back-packing and even work (not recommended if you need foot protection). Light weight, great ankle and foot support while allowing your feet to spread while walking as they normally should. They are incredibly comfortable! The only complaint I have is that they consistently, for me anyway, wear and tear at the stitching where the ball of the feet ends and the toes begin. It separates and loses the waterproofing where the sole meets the leather. I wonder if this could be fixed by extending the leather a little further? I haven't taken the time to dissect the boot once they are trashed(; And of course this is after pretty hard use with construction and backpacking, puddle and stream jumping, etc. over an average of 2- 3 years of use.

This boots are really comfortable betterthen my timberland pro . Lightweight,easy to fit on . But they lace loops are made on cheap soft steel, they dont come with the insole Rocky boots use to put on their boots .

I bought these boots a couple of months ago and the soles are falling off. All the stitching around the soles are coming loose. They are one of the most comfortable boots I have worn but very disappointed in the quality of the boots. I wish I had kept my receipt so I could return them or swap them for another pair. I was really excited about the boots when I bought them. Now full of disappointment.

I’ve been buying this boot for years and it was fantastic. You change the soles of them now the suck. Used to be a soft sole now it’s hard as a rock. Very slippery in snow conditions, makes a lot of noise when walking. Sorry to say but this is my last pair.

I just bought this boot for my son who is 28, after I bought the shorter top boot for my husband two months ago. Both say it is the most comfortable boot ever. We are farmers and they love that it is so light in weight. My husband is very hard on boots, so we will see if they stand the test of time. He has owned several pairs of Rocky Boots in different styles and prefers them over any other brand. Only gave 4 stars on quality and value because I don't know how they will hold up, but the comfort is excellent.

I ordered my regular size 12 and for a few days they seemed okay. However, after 4-5 days they loosened up and my big toe started hitting the front of the boot.

Girls love their looks. They are very comfortable. They feel very well made. The leather is very soft, so the durability for a long distance work boot may not be the best. They are great for an everyday boot, that looks good and makes you prepared for whatever the day throws at you. I love them, and will probably buy another when they wear out. Great for a spring or fall hiking boot.

I've had these boots for a couple months now and yes they comfortable to walk around in on flat surfaces. now for the bad news, if you have to put anytime in on a shovel or rocky ground like we have here in mn you will not like these boots. the soles are way too soft, you'll feel every rock under your foot and the shank in the arch is nonexistent. I think they're a decent boot, rocky just shouldn't advertise them as work boots...would I recommend them for work...nope..hunting boots maybe

I bought these boots about 8 month ago. I wore them for the first six months as my work boots until the upper started separating from the sole. This made the useless for work as I need my boots to be waterproof. I work in the woods most days. Before they started coming apart they were good boots, comfortable light and nice looking too. Good quality soft leather. Not good everyday work boots though.

I bought a pair 6 months ago fit great super comfortable but stay out of the water unless you want your feet wet. I' ll buy another pair .

I bought my Rocky’s a month ago. So far they have been a great boot. Very comfortable, warm and good ankle support.

They last about 1 year of light use. The stitching where the sole meets the leather rots and comes loose (2 pairs now). I use my boots for walking, no work, hunting, or rock climbing. I inspect construction sites. I love the comfort but, for $150 and the Rocky name, I expect them to last much longer. I will buy another pair and at 9 months, I will inspect closely the area where the sole meets the leather. Any signs of a problem, I will return them for another pair. I own 4 pairs of Rocky boots and 3 would rate 5 stars, but not this boot!

I got these boots about a month ago and they fit as expected. They broke in easy and did not hurt my feet at all. They are waterproof as stated.

With less than 11 months of use, I am doing my review of this boot. First of all, let me say I am a fan of Rocky's footwear. Let me say that this is one good looking boot with comfort in mind. Let me begin with the positives. POSITIVES: This is premium full-grain leather that has shown durability, especially in the hot Arizona desert where I live. The lace-up design has worked well for me. I have had no issues and helps adjust for a well-fit. The GORE-TEX has worked for me. Although, I primarily use it in dry conditions. I have hiked in the California wet forests and the cold Colorado Rocky Mountains and they have kept me dry. The insert has been very comfortable without much wear. The positive aspect of the outer sole is the traction. It has been awesome and tread wear has been moderate considering the terrain I use it in. NEGATIVES: The outer soles on both feet have cracked with 11 months of use and are now beginning to hurt my feet when I step on uneven terrain and are now beginning to hurt my feet. Although the inner soles still feel very cushioned, it seems that the cracked outer soles have compromised the bottom protection against rough terrain or uneven surfaces. Also the stitching on a seam of the left boot came apart and the same is beginning to happen on the right boot. The leather has held very very good. It seems to be an issue with the stitching. CONCLUSION: I have just contacted Rocky Mountain Customer Service via email regarding warranty of this boot. Depending on the solution, I will keep this post updated and might change the rating of this boot.

Have use Rocky products many times and the most comfortable was the old Safari. The Outback is basically the same boot with moccasin design. Light weight and comfortable.

This is my second pair of these. They are the only boots you can pull out of the box and go anywhere in they’re the most comfortable boot I’ve ever owned and tough on top of that. If they sold them in steel toe I would wear them there but..... for hunting and general ranch work they are great

I have purchased these boots for over 12 years to work in as a Land Surveyor and I wear them year round. They are a good light weight boot for covering a lot of ground and terrain change on a daily basis.

I bought these boots several months ago. I have noticed one problem with them. The lace hooks are extremely weak. If you sit with the boot under you. The hook will bend and pinch the laces. I am waiting for the lace hooks to break from having to bend them back into the right position. Outside what I have stated. They are extremely comfortable.

I bought these about 2-3 years ago don't quite remember its been a while, but I have got to say these boots are incredible! Right out of the box they fit perfectly didn't even have to wear them in. Extremely comfortable and light weight which is a huge plus. Love the grips on these boots have hardly ever slipped or lost traction while wearing these boots. I use these boots for work (ranch work), hunting, and play. No matter what situation I'm in these boots seem to handle it. Sadly, however, I do believe they have run their course and it is time for an upgrade. Looking to either purchase the exact same ones or might try my luck with another Rocky boot style. These boots are great, but I do have to mention that after the time that I have had them and have really put these boots through the gauntlet that they do lose their waterproof capabilities when the stitching at the seems start to go. However, seeing that I have had these for such a long time I still believe that these boots merit a 5 star rating. Absolutely recommend these to anyone looking for a very comfortable light weight and waterproof boot whether you're using them for work, hiking, hunting, or whatever else these boots can most certainly handle it.

The title says it all. I wear a 13 running shoe and a 12 wide in all of my Rocky boots except for trail runners and shoe boots. The toe bed in these is a bit narrow and I probably should have sized up. However, even with tight laces, the slightly raised heel causes my feet to slide forward on long hikes. After a couple weeks of breaking-in, the fit is great as a work or casual boot. I kept mine; they're a well-made, good-looking boot. For a smaller person or one accustomed to a different stride, they might be suitable as hikers. If you're looking for a shoe-boot hiker with plenty of cushion for 5+ mile hikes, I recommend the endeavor point (tread lasts about 6 months averaging 5-10 miles a week over Rocky terrain and incidental daily wear) or, for much colder hikes, the Rocky Sport Pro (RKS0313__W__130 and RKS0309__W__120, respectively).

Boots were exactly what i was looking for & were delivered earlier that expected.

Very comfortable, could be more durable. They felt like slippers out of the box, and I like the minimal heel drop. The waterproofing didn't last long and the stitching started really falling apart after a year and a half. Hoped they'd last a bit longer, but overall a good run. Time for an upgrade. Especially since Rocky makes boots for cops, so, hey, another reason to get real American stuff from Redwing instead.

I have used these boots for a wide variety of trade work And lifestyle sporting and have put them through the ringer doing it best all around boot imo all I’ve had last 10 years and don’t plan on changing

I have only used them a month or so and they’ve been holding up great so far, no issues climbing into a tree stand and all around great all terrain boot, easy to lace up and feels very secure, no issues so far

These boots are light and comfortable to wear, but the soles don’t perform well in terrain where thorns or other sharp objects are present, such as the desert Southwestern US. Mesquite thorns penetrate right through the sole and into the foot. It’s too bad, the boots are a comfortable and reasonably well made boot other than the sole issue....

The first pair of this boot I had was amazing, so comfortable, water proofing worked well, I worked in them, hiked in them, even slept in them. I had my first pair and they lasted FIVE years. wonderful. Now with that said, i bought another pair, and they're junk, they don't even feel like the same material. They lasted a year and are in worse shape than the ones I wore for five years and i'm extremely disappointed.However, they are still very comfy, but they are not water proof, any bit of rain my feet are soaked, even when they were new. i loved this brand but now im shopping somewhere else as it seems they have cut corners on good products.

I bought these boots back in the spring as a replacement for my beat down Salomon hiking boots. These are warmer for sure, the height is going to do that, but they are rugged and the most comfortable boots I have ever owned. The break in was a little rough around some of the seams but if a boot is going to stand the test of time then they shouldn't break in in a day. They are still rocking after a summer of Rocky Mountain Hiking on the Continental Divide. I look forward to seeing what they can do in the winter. I am considering just buying 3 more pairs of these so that I know I have the next few replacements covered. The discontinuation of this model is not something I am pleased about.

I could'nt wait and bought a pair on the Internet. When they arrived I was immediately impressed: light weight, great looking leather and construction, flexible soles with a semi agressive tread, nice lacing system, relatively easy to get on or off. Then I did an initial short three mile hike to break them in.Big mistake! When I returned home I discovered a severe abrasion on my right foot just below the ankle. Examined the culprit boot showed a lump under the gortex lining. I do not know if this is stitching, glue or what. Of course I had thrown out all of the paperwork and box so I'm stuck. Definitely rethinking my boot buying process and will start buying from brick and mortar businesses in the future which will allow me to see and touch before handing over two days pay! Hope other buyers don't encounter this problem.

I have put about 20 miles on them so far. The gore-tex works. Feet dry and comfortable even with fording small creeks. Good support and nice toe box feel with thin or thicker Sox. Wasn't sure if the tongue was going to be sewn in high enough but it is. Good stitching and seams. Soles give good support and traction. I'm impressed with boot for quality and price.

Great boot for the outdoors or walking around town. I am personally a fan of 8" boots vs 6" boots. The tread allows for great stability on uneven terrain. I walk in very rocky terrain for work and the boots are ideal for this in cold weather. I am still breaking them in but being prior military these boots are still comfortable during this break in period compared to military boots. I highly recommend them. I hope Rocky comes out with a pair just like these without Gore-Tex for the summer months! And the thing I look for the most in reviews is sizing: I wear an 11 in almost all brands. I ordered an 11 and these run about 1/2 a size larger but it's perfect for a thick pair of socks.

I bought these for a backcountry trail work season, which entailed long daily hikes and backpacking heavy loads for 10 days at a stretch through mud, scree, talus, sand, snow and ice. I lived in these things. The Good: These boots are super comfy right out the box. No break-in required, comfy as a pair of slippers, ankle support is great for heavy loads, sole was nice and grippy in everything but ice and they were decently breathable. The fit was right too, they accommodated foot swelling while also being snug enough to where no blisters ever formed. I cannot overstate how comfortable these are compared to other work boots i've had The Not so good: They lasted me for the season and that's all. That's June to November, not even a year of daily use. The lace hooks have a tendency to bend a little, I had to use pliers on one to be able to free my lace. The underside of the eyelets also have a tendency to fray your laces after a while( there's a small portrusion right around the rim that i ground down after i went through two pairs of laces). The waterproofing will not last for very long, that one small seam near the toebox will be the first to split open. There isnt much support on the insole. Tread isn't very aggressive and flattened out in high-wear spots relatively quickly although the grip didn't suffer THAT much. Now, I don't know if I just walk weird or what but in the last month of wearing them, the soles actually bent outwards on both boots, forcing my feet into a weird uncomfortable position. In summary, so very comfortable but durability suffers because of it. Probably would be really good for casual outings, just not trail work
