My first boot order unfortunately didn't work out (those boots made me look like a pirate). So I called Sheplers before returning them. They were great and suggested these (narrower in the calf) snake proof boots that are the old classic style I was searching for. These are quality made boots without the manufactures "billboard" on the side of the boot! The arrived in perfect condition and are by far my favorite boots. I have worn them only a couple of times, and have received complements each time. The only thing I didn't like was the orange looking part at the boot sole -- easy fix with a little boot polish (remember you can't return them after that). Lastly, the sole is made by Vibrum so you know it will last for many years. I'm very pleased!
