That sensation I get when I put on a pair of top of the line Lucchese Boots and my feet are happy! Well, that's the same sensation I got when I put on this hat and my head was that happy. Quality of materials, attention to craftsmanship, oval head and oval hat! ;)

Once again, the size is wrong, the shape is wrong and what's worse? The RED hatband turns your forehead red when you actually work in the hat once again showing they have sold out to the yuppie and no longer care about the REAL working cowboy. Finally, the picture on the website doesn't show the red sweat band but it is CLEARLY visible through the lower row of vent holes. Makes you look like a clown.

Never heard of this brand, but giving them a try. Nothing fancy, good looking simple boots. I need boots to help getting around with severe arthritis. The size is exactly correct, I'm glad I didn't order differently. My old poor feet and ankles slip into them like any other boots this style. Walking is very comfortable, I'm pleased with them. If they hold up long term and is actually waterproof is not known yet. I'd recommend due to price, comfort, and pretty solid construction.

The ventilation makes it much cooler than my last hat.

I have been wearing Resistol hats for over forty years now and I find them to be the best for me. The one thing that has attracted me to the brand is they make a hat that is shaped like my head oval. This Chase Straw hat is exactly what I am talking about, not round or square or even pointed. When I put this hat on I know that I have a hat with no big gaps on the sides because it's has a round shape to it but a oval shape which gives me a nice snug fit so not to blow off in the wind. Normally the sweat band is one of their signature no sweat band type but this hat did come with a elastic type of hat band and I am not real sure at this time if I like it or not. It's still to early to tell. I can say that the craftsmanship is like all I have bought in the past superb that is the best way to explain it. You will never go wrong in buying a Resistol hat unless you have a square or round head, but I am sure they make a hat just for you. My head is shaped like a race track and this is my brand of hat I most likely will be wearing until I die. Straw, felt, fur, no matter which type of hat you buy if it says Resistol inside you bought yourself the best on the market. I only rate this four stars because I still have to wait until I wear it more here in the Arizona summer heat to see if it keeps the sweat out of my eyes.
