My husband has worn this style hat for many years, and hasn’t bought one in 9 or 10 years. So, I got him this one for Christmas. It arrived December 23, earlier than I expected. I was thrilled. Now, we have to get it shaped and hope that’s not expensive because the Shepler’s in Amarillo, Texas, is out of business.

I wear this hat all the time in all kinds of weather, it's not a dress hat for me. Holds its shape very well. Felt still looks great after 3 years with some brushing, not worn out on the crown at all. I've worn off all the gold lettering on the hat band and the liner is discolored from all the wear but it still looks great. I'll probably buy another at some point but this one will have to wear out more before I do.

The 20x beaver quality is awesome. Great slight curved brim and the overall quality is perfect. Great black looking hat. I use to buy only straw hats from Resistol but that one is my first beaver hat from that brand and I really love it. I wanted a hat in the 20x range. Stetson goes from 10 to 30 and way to expensive in 30x and Resistol made it with a great price for such a quality !

Very nice hat! I like the low crown - doesn't have that "all hat, no cattle" look. Good hat for everyday wear and with a quick brushing it will look great going to town, too!
