I bought these boots because I was looking for a sturdy hiking/all purpose boot with a side zipper. I tried them on when they arrived, walked around the house a bit and they felt great. I pulled the labels off and threw them and the box away. I finally decided to put them on to head out for a quick walk in the woods behind my house. I was in so much pain from the tongue fold above the ankle I was afraid to put them back on. I loosened the laces a bit and did some readjustments and gave it another try a week later. No so bad, but still ended up with a blister. Now I can’t return them because the tags and original box are gone and I wore them out side. Sizing was right on for my sz 11 feet.

Right boot has material sticking out on inner zipper flap that is causing pain above my ankle.

I like these boots however if they had been in-store might have gotten a size smaller...
