This item arrived intact BUT with an extra button (and the accompanying wrong length) on each side. It was also missing the pocket opening on the right side--not very useful if you can only access one pocket with this item in place. Better to just throw on a hoodie or something under your duster instead of dealing with this awful thing! It also doesn't feel like wool.It might be some combination of materials but feels synthetic.

This product is very good. I've been wanting a sort duster and now that I have one I'm sorry I waited to get one. It's very nice and the lining is very warm.

It is much thicker than I thought it would be. I wore it several times in subzero weather without any problems or complaints. Be sure you want to be very warm if you order this as it is the real deal.

Vest had no button holes ( buttons on both sides). Collar is too large for my taste. I returned it and purchased the Wrangler denim sheepskin lined vest.

I ordered this for an Outback duster I bought.....well, neigh on 17 years ago I reckon. It it the wrong one for these older coats. It does fit my new duster I bought a few months ago. The difference between the 2 is the buttons holes in the older coat are larger, thus the buttons on the vest tend to fall out promptly. The inner pocket does not line up with the new location on the vest and if you like all of this AND being throttled by a oversize collar (only if for some reason you tried to fasten the collar snap(s)), this is a do-able solution to the cold trail rides. It rides much better in the newer coats. I have heard tell of a company that sell liners for the older coats, I don't think they'd allow me to post it here.

A great value in this 100% wool liner. Highly recommended.

This is a fabulous addition to the outback full length coat. The picture does not do it justice. You should show it in the coat itself, not just as an accessory. It is quite warm and attractive. Nice full collar to keep the neck warm. I am extremely pleased with this article of clothing.

the inner pocket opening doesn't line up and there is only one there is no opening for the other pocket. I also was not satisfied with the sides they should be split to match the outer coat.

Sheplers had this hard to find item.

My husband does cowboy action shooting and needed more warmth from his duster. He does wish it had more attachment points to the duster. An attachment on the backside to the collar would be great.

This is superb. It keeps me toasty warm and feels like I'm being hugged by a sheep!

This is an excellent liner that can be used with several coats. Warm and well made.

I just love this liner. It is so warm and extremely comfortable. I am so glad I purchased it to wear inside my duster.

I live in the Eastern Sierras and I enjoy riding my horse but in the winters it can be extremly cold. I purchased my outback duster 2 years ago and love it. However, when it comes to winter it was not warm enough so I needed to layer. I had been looking at purchasing the wool drover liner for a couple years now but I was hesitant. My friend got one and loved it; so now I had to have one. I am so much warmer and comfortable out on my rides, I don't need to layer as I had done in previous winters. Thank you so much for such a fantastic product. By the way you should show that liner in the duster, it would give the buyer a better perspective on how it would look.

Though it does fit my Duster well, it is priced 3 times what it is worth. It is nothing more than a Fleece Vest. But, if you need it, you need it. I'm glad I won't need to buy one again!

I first bought the duster back in Sept. I decided to get the liner as the weather started to get colder. The look and feel was a lot better than I thought it would be and I'm very glad I bought it.

We bought the long duster and the Wool Liner with buttons two weeks ago for my husband. The only problem is there are no button holes in the duster to insert the liner? Buttons just for looks? Otherwise, love the coat and liner.

Great liner for the Duster. Just make sure you wash it or figure out a way to get the fuzzys off otherwise any dark shirts are covered with fuzzys for awhile.

First reaction is "Wow - this is nice and warm. Fits well and nicely made. Has unbuttoned from the coat once already, but no big deal.

The vest is to large for the Duster, the collar won't stay down and is very uncomfortable. Also the buttons that attach to the duster will not stay buttoned, constantly coming out of the coat, Very disappointed in the product.

I am an early riser, my housemate keeps the heat (in Canada)LOW...I put this vest/liner on when I get up in the A:M (5-6), and I am QUITE comfortable, until the heat come on at 9:00 A:M, and if I use it in my Oilskin Coat, I might get a wee bit TOO warm...and it buttons into the Drover Coat quite easily and securely. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, [...]...if you are ANYWHERE COLD, order this with your coat, you WILL NOT be disappointed.

This liner is really warm and extends the usefulness of the overcoat into very cold weather.  The only (slight) drawback I could mention is that sometimes the armholes of the liner come apart from the arms of the coat so that I have to fidget a bit to get my arm through both.  The design might be improved by including a couple of buttons at each armhole to hold the liner close to the coat there.  I really like this product.

When the North winds came in and the temps fell out the bottom, this liner kept me toasty warm while others shivered around me.

This product arrived very quickly, and was exactly what I ordered. I would and will order from Sheplers again.
