These boots are a very good bargain and hold up well in extreme conditions. I purchased them because they are fairly inexpensive, was looking to get at least a year of wear out of them. I work around water,fertilizers and various other types of muck. My last pair are still in fair condition but the heels wore down and came loose. Will fix the heals and expect to get over a year out of them.

The boot is a perfect fit and comfortable. The heel pad is showing signs of wear early on. I have to assume it is due to their choice of material to keep the cost of the boot down. No complaint.

I've been dealing with Sheplers for at least 30 years and always have gotten a bang for my hard earned dollars. As a trucker these boots are perfect with there slip resistant soles at a fuel island for example.(note; resistant, not slip proof) For the price these boots are well worth every penny. Depending on your work environment and how well one takes care of them, these boots will last at least two years or so. Bang for your buck? You bet it is. Save your 2, 3, $400.00+ boots for boot scooting with you lady. These boots are good looking enough, I got an extra pair for Sunday go to meeting if needed. For a time Sheplers didn't have these slip resistant Trucker boots available. I'm so pleased they are back. Thank you Sheplers for your fine affordable Western Ware Products and looking out for us needing to pinch pennies at times. 30+ years a pleased customer. (Don't drop your Old West Trucker Western Work Boots with slip resistant soles again)

The riding heel was a little different than what I expected. Compared to my other brand the heel is a little further back on the boot with a lesser angle at the heel. It’s something I noticed when I walk in them. Otherwise a good fitting and inexpensive work boot.

After wearing the boots for 2 weeks, boots are slightly loose in length. Soles for these boots appear ''out of scale'' for the boot [soles appear to stick out further than the average boot]. Great traction in wet weather . All around good "WORK" boots.

These boots are excellent value. All leather with substantial man made soles with a repairable heel lift. The fit is accurate, as I'm in the UK I have to compensate for the difference in USA sizing by going up half a size. Great service & fast delivery from Sheplers. Thanks guys!

When ordering, the concensus of opinion on the website was to order cowboy boots a half size bigger than you might with other types of footwear. This is good advice. My new boots are too new to give opinion on wear and tear, but they look good, fit perfectly and the quality for the price is excellent.

I HAVE WORN THIS BOOT ONLY TWICE, SO IT ISN'T EVEN BROKEN IN AND I CAN'T REALLY RATE IT FAIRLY. IT IS QUITE A BIT TOO WIDE, BUT IT DID NOT COME IN A NARROWER WIDTH IN MY SIZE. I was told to order 1/2 size larger but I did not. Good thing because I wear a 10 wide and that was what I ordered and the boots are a bit too large. They still wear fine. I will add an insole because they are a bit hard in the insole pad. Other than that I am very pleased with the look and the non slip soles.

Even though they stain easily they work great. I use them for working on a farm and ranch so the staining doesn't bother me and they work great for that kind of work. Plus they look good. FYI- Toe not as pointed as may seem. And make sure you wear boot socks. (they'll be much more comfortable)

These are decent boots considering the price I paid; however, I am reminded of the old saying that you get what you pay for. They are decently made, and comfortable in that they fit my feet well. But, for a 13" shaft, the opening at the top should be a little wider. The top of the shaft is a little snug on my calves, and that is a little irritating. I bought these boots solely to tear up, meaning I would wear them when working outside on my property, running my pressure washer, washing my truck, of for whatever is needed in an environment where I would not wear my nicer boots because they would be damaged. So, for the intended use of these boots, they will do the job. I took a star off because the opening of the shaft at the top needs to be a little wider.

My 2nd pair of the Old West trucker work boots. The only complaint with the latter is I ordered the distressed brown which looked like a light brown. However it's actually looks more dark chocolate/brown. Nice non slip soles for riding my bike though.

I am very satisfied with my boots. I've had them for about a year now. The only complaint I have is the color. The boots were supposed to be black cherry. However I was sent a brown color. Bottom line is that the boots are very comfortable, affordable, light weight, and rugged!

I disagree with the ordering website stating to order boots 1/2 size larger than normal fit. I ordered accordingly, only to find the boots are a bit too large after less than a week of wear(break in)... kinda makes me leary to order my next pair of boots online.

Look and feel great. Leather surface does take on wear rather quickly, making them look like they've worked for several years even aftewr a few days, but for working boots, that's a good thing.

I bought them for daily wear. Ordered "work" boots so that I'd have a nice tread for bad weather. These boots are very comfortable and attractive. Friends pointed me to Sheplers and I will point others here too. Although I say that they fit a bit big, my foot is not swimming in them nor do they feel as if they're going to fall off; they're just comfortable!

These are my second pair because the first pair lasted a couple of years of almost daily use. The soul does not wear out and is not slippery in wet weather. I just wish Sheplers carried the boot one size bigger.

knowing that the wide part of my foot has to fit the widest part of any shoe/boot, until i dealt with sheplers, i would NEVER buy shoes/boots without seeing/trying them on first as sizes vary all over the place... am i glad i took the chance with sheplers... these boots fit perfectly and even tho' they are on the lowest price end, are totally comfortable... i was sooooo impressed that i bought a second pair of the same type, trucker style, but smooth leather and black, and i have the exact same experience with them... one thing that is totally cool is these have 13" tops and don't bug my calves... anything shorter, until i get used to them, wears my calves raw...

I like the rugged appearance and good construction. They fit comfortably right out of the box. Too many boots need a break-in period to get comfortable. These looked good and fit good from the git-go.

I've had these boots for about a month now and I'm very happy with them! The only trouble I've had with them is the cavity in the boot ran a bit tall for me so I needed to put inserts in for a snug fit. I have received a lot if compliments on them so far and they are very attractive boots for the money. I use them as my everyday and work boots and they have held up great so far.

I use this boot in New Zealand for horse back riding and bull riding in the New Zealand rodeo. Its a good all around boot that looks good with a pair of jeans at the pub having a quite beer or two, or out and about on the land doing a hards days work.

This boot is comfortable after I had a shoemaker install an additional thicker counter inside the heel area. It still feels a little large, (less than a half size). The width in the toe area is perfect and the arch is exactly in the right place. After paying $26.00 to have the heel area tightened up, I didn't get much of a bargain price, but if it wears well I will be satisfied.

This is my 6th pair of Old West Boots and my 2nd pair of the Trucker Work Boots. True to form they fit as anticipated. I have a "B" width foot so I have to use insoles to compensate for the "D" sizing, and as always they were comfortable right out of the box with no "break-in" required. I wore them for about 9 hours straight the first day with no problems at all. Excellent quality boots for the price, and very durable. I still have the first pair of them after about 10 years. I love them.

I've bought 5 pair of these now and every pair I've owned fits like a glove as well as being a good all around boot for the price. Since putting new heel and half sole on a pair of boots now costs $50 or more, I instead just buy a new pair for $49 and free shipping and give the old pair away! That way I not only get a new heel and sole, I get brand new boots, uhhh.....to boot (sorry). They are of good quality and have arrived in great shape except for the most recent pair I bought just last month. They had VERY obvious issues that would have only taken seconds to see before they were shipped. Y'all boys need to step up the quality control a bit otherwise, "Great Job"; love your boots!

I was very happy with this boot, which I ordered on line, until I got one of your catalogs in the mail and saw it listed there for ten dollars less than the on-line price. Looking through the catalog I found other items listed for less than the on-line prices as well When I walked a ways on concrete sidewalks the heels wore down very quickly. Since I don't drive I need a boot with a heel and sole that will stand up to a lot of wear. Aside from the price difference that is my only complaint about this boot.

Make sure you get the right size. They had my size which is EEE so I got it. it fit great.. I use them for dress but will convert them to work in about 6 months and order a new pair for dress. Happy Trails from Marvelous, Vaquero Saddle and Leather

Although these black-cherry boots were listed as work boots they are actually so good looking that when I opened the box my wife exclaimed, "You can wear those to Church!". And she was right! (They're also tough enough to be a work boot).

after reading the reviews i was confident buy this boot, but after they arrived, it was a diffeent story. there were nails showing through the inside heels. and the right boot was arched wrong. after about an hour of wearing them, i took them off my foot hurt so bad. i dont know if i got a bad pair, or if theyre all like this, but im taking mine back.

I bought a pair of these about three months ago and they were a good fit and looked good so I ordered a second pair to wear for good. The first pair I wear daily and they were nice at first and then started stretching in width. Now they are two sizes larger in width and slop around on my foot when I walk. I wore Durango trucker boots for 30 years and never had this happen. Oh, I wish Durango would start making them again. Old West has been a real disappointment.

I like these boots, except that the heels sound as if they were on women's boots.. somewhat hollow and 'crisp'. It's a tiny annoyance, but anytime that I walk on concrete or hard surfaces, this thought comes to mind. These boots repel water, and fit comfortably.

I was pleased with the quick turn around time when I had to return the boots for a wider pair. Unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed that the padding on the inside bottom of one of the boots was already loose when I received it.

A decent boot for the money. Not top quality, but then again I wouldn't expect it for the price. Fits well, and feels true to size. Slightly darker in colour than I was expecting from the photograph, but not a problem. The rubber soles are much less slippery than leather. I good, honest, reasonably priced boot for everyday wear, allowing you to keep your fancy, tooled leather, high priced ones for special occasions. Recommended.

Needed a pair of boots for some rough ground - gravel and rocky, so cushioning was important. These did the trick. Most of my boots had a break in period and these were no different. Just put a piece of moleskin on my heels and had no problem. Needed to get a boot 1 size larger than my shoe size for a good fit. Would certainly buy another pair of these boots when the time comes.

Not What I Expected In Color

I ordered two pair of these boots in different colors. I was happy with the distressed pair but the Black Cherry was not what I expected in color. I have gotten black cherry several times in the past and this was more like a dark burgundy/brown. It did not look anything like what the website showed. I was very disappointed in the color. As for fit they were a little big, but that was my fault as I had to order a 1/2 size bigger for them to have the boots in stock. I would suggest ordering your normal size and the width was good and true to size. They have very thick rubber soles which are good for truck drivers that are stepping in diesel. Being a trucker I have found that the rubber soles hold up about 3x's the life of a leather sole.

Purchased for riding and comfort. Quality: First pair arrived with a winkled insole in one boot, a winkle so large I could not get my foot in the boot. Replacement pair had a bent-over nail sticking out of the bottom of one boot heel. Moreover, although one boot fit fine, the other was too loose at the instep. Cannot comment on quality of materials, but craftsmanship was poor. Cosmetics: Decorative stitching on shaft (of all four boots) had flaws that, had they been the only issue, would NOT have caused me to return working/riding boots. The color of the boots I received was more of gray than the warmer tan of the web page pictures. Bottom line: Although price and appearance were attractive, the boots didn't fit. The poor quality caused me to question durability. Sheplers was very responsive.

Unfortunately, when the books arrived they were dark red instead of black, as ordered. There was a slight scratch on the toe and the stitching was off around the same toe area. We returned them to the store and ended up getting a different (and more expensive) brand of boot. Even though we had these problems, for the price, I would not hesitate to order them again in the future.

I am thoroughly pleased. This is my immediate opinion since they just came yesterday. I wear 11D Double H boots normally. I initially bought an 11D pair of Laredo Basic Western boots. They looked cheap and were a very narrow fit. I then ordered two pairs of these (Black)--a pair of 11D and 11EE (just in case they fit like the Laredos). I was going to return the pair that didn't fit as well then. When I opened my package, I was immediately impressed!!! I tried both on and since my feet were right in between the D and EE I decide that both would work fine and am now keeping both pairs. They look great and fit great! Living in Alaska makes the traction sole an added bonus. I was walking around on hard-pack snow quite a bit and had no slipping problems. Durability has yet to be tested. I bought these for a wedding and after that they will just be used as dress boots so I am sure they will serve their purpose well. The insole is a bit hard. Definitely not Double H's Gel Ice insole. I plan on trying to get an insole for my 11EE pair. You mainly feel the effects when standing for a long time. Walking was not uncomfortable though. I will also note that when choosing shipping options, UPS Surepost is not necessarily worth the few bucks saved. UPS will tell you it can take as long as two months. I got mine in three weeks so just keep in mind that the transfer from UPS to USPS can cost quite a bit of extra time.

The boots had one flaw. The inside diameter of the shaft is tighter than Lerado boots. I usually keep my checkbook in my boot between my shin & the shaft, however these are to tight. Otherwise the boots fit fine.

Bought it as a work boot for my teenage son. Immediately as he put them on and walked in the house, he heard a "squeak" which turned out to be both heels coming unglued from the soles! He also complained of boots being extremely uncomfortable! I'd selected boots that looked nice and were not-so-expensive so that i wouldn't cringe as they got dirty at the barn...sadly, they were not worth it and I have returned them for refund because of damage. The matching belt went back also.

Overall a great work boot for the price. The stitching wasn't great, there were a lot of loose threads. I took a cigarette lighter and burned them off...worked great. The soles had quite a few rubber "whiskers" all around that I removed with a wet rag and rubbing. The leather (black boots) broke in quick; I applied conditioner on them right out of the box. They will also shine up well. The only problem I have is the heel is too wide. The toe and mid foot fit is perfect, but the heel area is just wide enough that my heel still slips slightly, even after break in. In reading the other reviews, it seems I'm not the only one. If they would fix this the boots would be perfect. I wear these with a uniform, and they are dressy enough to pull that off. The soles are very helpful for walking around in wet, slippery conditions. Again, for the price, a great boot. I give em two thumbs up.

just got these a few days ago, and they look like great boots, but i ordered a 13EE cause i'm a big guy with a big foot, you would think the makers of this boot would know a 13EE would need a wider shaft, but the boot shaft on these is so narrow a small guy with a size 10 foot couldn't get his foot into them........needless to say they are being Returned !!

I bought a pair in black and they are really sharp and looks more expensive than their actual price. I particularly like the non slip soles which are great for snowy and icy surfaces. I'm not worried about them feeling tight...I got them to wear with thick socks, so I'll wear thinner socks or get them wet and wear them with the thick socks and stretch them out. I really Like them...they are really AK-Texonian! Which means I can wear them in both Alaska and Texas and feel not only great, but in style!

I have 2 pair and absolutely love them. I bought the Black pair back in December and just received the Distressed pair 2 weeks ago. If they would come out with a Black Distressed pair i would have to buy those too. I am like a little boy with his first pair of cowboy boots. I love them and wear them eveyday. Not a bad boot for the money, if you wear a 9 1/2 d and it's a bit tight, you will definitely need a double EE, the boot was a 1/4 narrower than my Ariat's, it also seems to have a high arch on the left boots I tried and the right boot is cut in such a way that it rubs the inside of my right foot, also two boots tried, returns were handled quickly friendly, wonderfull people to do business with

I recently bought these boots for my husband for christmas and I have to say both of us are delighted with them. As soon as the box was opened the lovely smell of leather wafted up, which I was surprised with given the price and that it seems to be a very long time since I have smelt leather like that, the quality just is not there anymore. Even the box is that little bit special, not the run of the mill boot box but a western printed scene! Overall it made it look like I'd spent a small fortune, when really I didn't. The sole of the boot is very practical, it is more of a rubber type sole and is cleated. I'm sure this seems ironic for me to mention this, given that it is called a work boot, but it was bought as a purely dress item! I really could not recommend these more!

Bought these boots for my dad in black,his first pair of cowboy boots.They look so good on,he wore them all day and a good part of the night for the first time.He did say by the time he took them off which was about (13 hours of wear ) they rubbed a little on the back of his leg nothing a longer pair of socks wouldnt fix

I like these boots- I wear size 11,and wear an orthopedic insole--so I always buy one size big-12's-- with these boots, I had to add an insole from Wallyworlds-good fit -but a little loose on the inside heel -and the inner heel material could be smoother- wears out sox at that point - but not too bad- boot sox helps -will be great for cold weather -

These are nothing fancy, just plain old boots. They fit well and are comfortable right out of the box. They are true to size. The Black Cherry boots are NOT as pictured on the web site. They are more like a flat burgundy color. NOT a red/black finish as shown. They are comfortable and worth every penny.

I have only one problem with these boots and it is a personal one. My right foot is slightly larger than my left and, as a result, the left boot fits perfectly but the right is a little tight around the toes. Maybe next time I'll get a wider toe.

These boots are just about what I expected - and I like 'em. However the shaft seems a little lower quality than I would have thought. That's the reason for the 4 stars on reliability - I'm not 100% confident in the durability of the shaft. Overall - nice work boot. I wouldn't call it "black cherry" - doesn't have that depth to the finish - but it's a nice shade of "burgundy" that works for me. Nice looking - and the soul and heel seem pretty tough to me. Overall - a good buy in my estimation.

I had been wanting to get a pair of cowboy boots for a while and found these on the website for a very good price. I like the color, except it is hard to find cream or polish to match. I am happy with the look and the quality of the boots. My only problem with them is that I wear an 8 1/2 with a C width, and boots and shoes are no longer made to fit the customer, so I had to settle for a D width. For that reason the boots do not fit me quite as they should. I would have given a 5 star rating if my size had been available.

The actual leather was better than the photo -very cool boot. Fit was right on for an EE (note: I finally wised up in my boot buying years and ordered a 1/2 size larger because I like to use soft inserts and heavier socks). This is my second pair of the black trucker boots. The first pair lasted over 5 years with regular use and only the rubber heel lift ever had to be replaced. They are comfortable and keep looking good. I went down to the regular width this time as the first pair was too comfortable for cowboy boots to begin with and eventually got a little too wide with wear. Definitely recommended and at an unbelievable price.

The boot is really narrow at the toe and mid foot area. If your looking for a tight narrow fitting boot this is the one. I prefer a wider boot with more room for your feet to breath. But all in all, the boot is of good quality for the price and looks good. Sure cant go dancing in this boot or youll have sores for a week.

Took around a week to arrive, they look nice, are true to size of my regular shoes. They could use a thin comfort insert/pad but I have worn them all day 3 times thus far with no discomfort without a pad. I would recommend this boot.

Boots were a great fit. Wasn't sure what distressed leather was exactly and when I recieved the boots its a soft leather (resembles swade in some ways). Overall they work for what I need then for which is just looking cowgirl cute around town! I would not use these boots to go to the barn in. They might stain easy and be hard to clean so I will make them my nicer pair!

Not a fancy boot, by far, the shape is not as traditional, a little more blunt looking is how I'd put it, more like a roper but with a slight point and French stitching. I probably would have bought this pair another size wider had I known how snug they are across the top of the foot. Not as comfortable out of the box as other reviews claim theirs were ( I needed some thin, foam insoles for mine, which made them more snug than the little bit they already were, but much more wear-able). But for a less expensive boot, not bad. Quality of the leather is good, very dark on the brown distressed, so brown you can't see the distressing well. Sole is a good, firm oil-welt rubber sole throughout, not leather, one of the chief reasons I bought them. Seams appear to be tight and sewn well. The tops are full leather shank and are little bit taller than most boots in this price range (15.5" from floor to pull strap, 13.5" from sole plate while the sole plate + heel =2" ), but they ventilate fine under the 13MWZ leg in the cooler Michigan summers here, wouldn't recommend this high of a top to anyone who lives in Texas in the summer, though, unless you have skinny calves! The shanks are lined with what looks like to be a thin and very smooth neoprene coating that might wear better than the traditional latex lining, and definitely appears to be better than some hand-made boots with cloth liners. Weight on the foot is similar to that of heavier, premium cowboy work boots from other makers, so it does take some getting used to the "kick-around weight" or "swing weight" on your foot when riding, these are not too light like some dress cowboy boots, but they could be used as such. I will eventually find out how thermally insulative they are when we get our first snows, but they have no lining to provide insulation. Like all leather boots, I expect this pair to loosen up with wear, they most usually do unless they sit long periods in the closet and shrink. But since I wear cowboy boots every day, I expect them to wear in nicely, hopefully I won't have to have insoles anymore too!

These boots fit comfortably, the sizing is good and they're what you'd expect from cowboy boots. The only issue and nearly a deal breaker is that these boots have no cushioning between the bottom and where your foot rests; it feels like you're walking on a piece of metal.

Excellent boots. This is a great work boot, but is attractive enough for everyday casual wear. The Black Cherry leather upper is an attactive color. The boots are very comfortable and I was able to wear them all day the first day out of the box. I normally wear a 10 shoe and a 9-1/2 boot, and these fit fine in my regular 9-1/2. The sole is both attractive and very practical. It doesn't slide around like a leather sole, and I am fairly confident that I can still have these re-soled when the time comes - but after multiple wearings over the last six weeks, I think these soles will last a lot longer than leather. What a value! An incredible boot for the price.

He is a truck driver and all he has ever worn are cowboy boots, this boot fit him perfect, he is able to easily pull the boot on and off, it feels good on his foot, looks great. Boots are NOT what you see online. Advertised as "distressed" yet they are solid basic brown. They dont look anything like the picture online and the store reps who agreed they were different than advertised chalked it up to online lighting. Brand was even different but stock number was same. Returned and dissapointed.

The boots look great, and I have worn them everyday since I got them; real easy to break in. The sizing and width felt true for my feet except in the heel. They do feel a little loose, but it hasn't caused any problems. I am in and out of my truck frequently during the day and work in some dirty spots, the boots are holding up great. As a truck driver climbing up and down off the trailers the non slip soles help keep me from slipping and falling off of my rig. The comfort inner soles keep my feet from getting too hot or too cold and makes the drive easier.

Nice boot. well made. Heel is a little stiff because of the hard rubber. Would like a softer type. These will last for awhile day to day on the ranch.

I just received these. I have not had the chance to wear them in. I am pleasantly surprised at the quality for the price. No doubt you will be impressed as well. The only negative was it took me two try's to get the correct boots. I was sent EE width instead of the D's that I ordered. VERY nice looking boots. Very heavy leather. I will be interested to see how the break in.

Color and texture were a little unexpected for the "Distressed" version. A little leather lotion brought out a nice luster though. I ordered a EE when I normally wear an E but the boot fit right out of the box. Two days and it was completely broken in. Leather is soft but strong. sole is rubber instead of slick leather so it has great grip in all conditions. Overall, great boot for everyday or dress occasions.

I bought these boots a few weeks ago and so far they have been great. I got them half a size bigger than I normally use in shoes and that turned out perfect. They have good looks and the finish is well done. The only thing is that the leather seems a bit too soft above the anckle. I prefer a bit firmer ( like a heavy starch in shirts) but they are very nice to wear. I can definitely recommend them!

These boots arrived three days before a trip to Las Vegas so I needed to break them in quickly. There was no trouble at all in getting them to conform to my feet and I am very pleased with them. I wore them to the airport and when I placed them on the conveyor the TSA agent said "nice boots" and then she asked me where I bought them. I have also received positive comments from others.

True to size, looks good and feels good. The Nubuck finish is pretty thin and a small patch has worm down on back of one boot. Very hard to get a boot that feels this good for such a low price. Great service from Sheplers. Will definitelly buy again.

They look great and the right boot fits me perfectly, but the left one feels almost an entire size too big and slips off my foot whenever I raise my foot off the ground. I usually line my boots with gel inserts, so I'm hoping that fixes the problem, though that particular boot really seems exceptionally large in comparison.

I use these for an everyday boot. First pair lasted over a year and is still good enough to warrant a re-sole. Ordered a second pair a couple weeks ago to sue as an alternate pair. Had to return because insole was installed improperly. Waiting for the replacement.

Boots seem to be of really good quality, they where a bit narrow but that was an easy fix with boot stretchers I already had now they fit perfect. These boots meet their intended use, a medium duty Western styled work boot. No shiney finish or exotic stitching, just pure function and durability. Haven't had them long enough to determine just how durable once they get the time+ rough use test. Appears they will meet the test considering their price range.

I bought a pair of thes early last year in Cherry, have been wearing them consintly and even to University, where all the gals love them, even with me being old enough to be their grand-dad! They are great, never wear out, have never slipped even in Scotland's real icy weather. Am now purchasing a pair in the Sand colour. Great boots and Shepler's are correct, you need to order a half size larger than your normal boot size to gain a fantastic boot.

I received my new boots yesterday and today has been my first day of wearing the Trucker Boots. They are a great fit although a little loose in the heel. This is probably because I only have small feet and usually fit a 6-61/2 and the smallest size is a 7. They are otherwise a good fit and very comfortable. The only upset is it rained today and now they are dirty! I own a Trucking company and have tried the boots out in several trucks today. They are easy to wear and drive in. The soles especially make for great driving boots as the rubber grips well.

I bought these as a back up pair to my Ariats; however, they are a very small fit. I take an 8.1/2EE in an Ariat but they only had "D's" in stock so I got an 9D, too small in every direction. I have managed to stretch them a little and I have to wear thin socks. They were great value.

Great pair of work boots! What I like most about these boots is the tall 13’ shaft. A tall shaft in a work boot is very hard to find these days. I like the tall shaft because it provides my legs protection when I am working. This pair of boots looks great, and are very comfortable. Only took me a day to break them in. I was so pleased with these boots I ordered another pair in the light brown color. Such a great looking boot that I kinda hate working in them. The price can’t be beat for the quality of boot that you get! It’s hard to believe that these boots are only $80.

Bought these boots for my husband for Fathers Day. We are on a serious budget so the price was perfect. When they arrived he was very pleased. They were true to size and width. He said they were comfortable right off, and he really likes the tread on the bottom.

Needed an inexpensive boot to wear to work. This boot fits the bill. They look good, the soles have excellent grip and the sizing is pretty true. A thin sole insert took up any uneccesary slack. They fit almost as good as my Larry Mahan's. We shall see how well they hold up.

Inexpensive but decent boots. Well enough made that the last pair was 7 years old. I wear them daily and work in them. The soles are good enough I could walk on the roof of my house and the barn with confidence. Well worth the money.

These boots look good and are built very well. They have a great sole that gives excellent traction especially for driving, hence the name. The first day I wore them ( with a blue wool suit and tie) to work my boss saw them and made a huge deal about how they looked so sharp and what a classic look it was...made my day. You can't go wrong with these boots.

I found the boot only ok. It was bought because it was cheap and I wanted to test my first online shoe purchase. You pay for what you get. Length was good but width very narrow. To ship the boot back cartage would cost me more than the boot was bought for. I am still considering buying a more expensive and hopefully a better quality boot.

I purchased two pairs of these boots. One in black and the other in distressed leather. Both pair were very well made and looked great. I liked these boots so much that I was going to purchase a third pair in the natural leather but, unfortunately, the natural leather boot did not come in my size. I wear the distressed leather boots daily and they are very flexible and comfortable. I would recommend these boots to anyone.

This is the second pair of these that I've bought over the last several years. I buy them for everyday work boots, but I end up wearing them on Sundays as well as my $250 Dan Post lizard skin boots because the Old west black cherry looks so good. Eventually they get retired to the everyday status, but that's ok. I order my usual 9-1/2 D size and both pair have fit perfectly from the first wearing. Lastly, who can beat the $65 price point!

Not to bad of a boot. Just a little bit loose but that will be needed for the winter when I will be wearing double pair of socks. The leather is a bit stiff, but should loosen up in time. I would advise using leather conditioner to help to soften the leather. Excellent pair of boots for the money!!

A bit of a bargain price certainly compared to retailers across here in the UK. Did not take long to break in and in fact are quite comfortable. I was specifically looking for this style of boot with the added bonus of having a rubber sole for that extra bit of grip in the winter.

These boots were not what I expected based on the images from website. The uppers construction seemed okay but the rubber sole and heel did not provide what I was looking for. In addition, the strong chemical rubber smell was too much.

I bought these for my grandson for Christmas. The look on his face when he opened them was priceless (he didn't know they weren't Justins yet). He is only 17 but a country boy that's grown up in boots...usually another brand. He was delighted with these boots (so was I). When I opened the boxes (one pair saved for birthday), I thought I was holding a much more expensive boot! They fit him like a new boot should and are wearing in quite well already. These are awesome boots for the coin, I wore these to work all day when I first got them and they were quite comfortable straight out of the box and a good true fit. My only dislike is they are very tall which some people may like but my calves are large and they are right at the limit at the top. Overall I like these a lot and will be getting another pair in a different colour later on.

I ordered this in my correct size with some hesitation, but they fit very well. They appear to be fairly well made, especially considering they were made in India. That may be a put off to some, but really now... most (high dollar) tennies are made in Indonesia. Anyway I wore these for about 3 hours right out of the box with no problems and were pretty comfortable for new boots. Much more comfortable than both my other pair, which were about 3 times as expensive. These are nice and light weight, which I was hoping for, since they will be for office casual wear. They also have a nice rubber welt sole so they grip way better than leather soles. I put a coat of good paste wax on them, they look great, and I think they will last quite a while. If you are looking for a decent pair of inexpensive (as opposed to cheap) pair of boots, these are the ones. Get Them. It only took about 3 days for them to arrive from the time I ordered them.

I didn't buy them for dress, but for kick around. This is my second pair. Bought a pair last year about this time and went on a 5 week, 3500 mile, rode trip on my motorcycle. They were soaked through a couple of times a day for two of the 4 weeks on the road. Dried out before I stopped each day. They've worn great and I still haven't needed resoling. I expect the same from these. First ones were dark rough out, and these are the Black Cherry(brown). I obviously bought them again. They're not Dan Posts or Justin's, but I wouldn't dig ditches in my Dan Post's either.

Great Material, soft and look amazing. Really happy with this purchase. The only little issue I have had so far is that I order them the same size I have always worn in tennis shoes or dress shoes but came in a little big. Have to wear a thick sock when ai wear them and it is alright.

Having had locally (UK) bought cheap boots before, I was wary about the quality of these boots. Thankfully, the quality is excellent, as is the finish and fit. To get a similar quality boot here, I would have to fork out at least a ton and then some. I bought these for an all around everday boot. I have the exspensive arriats and didn't want to mess them up and concerts or work. They look good and fell good. My only complaint is that the only run in a ee size so I had to buy a half size smaller. I can't wait to put them to some good use.

These boots are for my 14 yr old son for Christmas. He has very large feet for a child and it is hard to find his size without having to pay a lot. I found these boots in the clearance section at a fair price and they are perfect. The genuine calf leather sealed the deal for me. I hope they are as comfortable as they are nice to look at. Have no cons as they haven't been worn but I am confident they are going to be as good as they look.

Why pay hundreds of dollars for a basic and durable pair of cowboy boots? These are great boots for actually doing cowboy stuff, as opposed to play-acting in some bar with 500-hundred-dollar boots.

My husband LOVES these!! He wears them out in our date nights, to church, and even to work!!! He LOVES them! Very comfortable but I would advise buying a half size larger than normal shoe size and possibly a 2E or wide if your foot is wider than normal. Great fit though!!! Plus the cherry color is more like a maroon color but is still a nice color

The boots i purchased was not what i expected there to tall and rub my legs and they had few flaws part of the stitching on side of boots were not completed and sole had came unattached from front of boot hate i wore them already.

I received these boot's a couple of week's ago,and they are fantastic!!!! The color of them,basically everything about them is great,I especially like that the sole's on them are rubber,that will cut done on my sliding so much on water,that leather sole's can let happen often,when I was younger and full of pep and vigor,leather sole's didn't bother me,but since my stroke,I don't need the sudden slide that could happen,with these boot's having a rubber sole on them is just the perfect thing for me now!!!!!!!! These are very comfortable to wear,and give me some foot support also.I would highly recommend these boot's to people for everyday wear,or even getting all dressed up,I liked them so much,I even got a pair of them,in the black cherry color,and they are just as comfortable to wear!!!!!!!!!!

This low priced boot has great fit and good looks. This is the great all around boot you were looking for. It has it all, looks, value and comfort. Everyone should have a pair in there closet, you will use them daily for all chores, and going out, this pair can take you anywhere!

i wear a size 10.5 shoe but i ordered a size 11.5 EE boot i couldn't even get my foot thru the shaft of the boot. sent them back and get charged restocking fee. not my fault they are so far off in size. never do business

Bought these boots 6 months ago, adore them. They have barely any wear to them (besides the heel) and I wear them everyday on pavement. I ordered half a size up and they fit like a glove, so well I was almost worried they were too small but within a week they were broken in and the most comfortable pair of boots ever. Slippery on the snow.

Needing a new pair of work boots I decided to try these from Old West. The boots appear to be very well made with great styling. Fit was reasonably tight at first but after a couple of days loosened up considerably and are now an excellent fit. I am very happy with the feel and look of the boot and have received a number of positive comments from others.

I purchased these a month ago and these are quite a nice and comfortable pair of boots and these are very cheap too. I also purchased these in the distressed leather as at this price you can't go wrong. Sheplers has good customer service and these were quick delivered too for me in the UK.

When I asked my 14 yo grandson what he wanted for Christmas, he replied cowboy boots! He had no expectation that he would get them." Well this grandmother was determined to get those boots for him. I was advised by a family member who has purchased children's boots from Shepler to buy one size larger. I shouldn't have listened -- they were too large. Return was easy and replacements were ordered and shipped directly to him. He is one happy kid --says it was the best part of Christmas. He has already told me that next year he wants a hat. These ratings are from him.

Boot is a great fit. True to size. It has a pointed toe, which is fine since I bought them (in black) as dress boots. The 13" shaft is a nice, tough leather. Nothing uncomfortable, but lasting. Mildly comfortable sole. It's a work boot, not something real fancy. A real boot. Exactly what I wanted. Like I said, there is a little flash to it, but overall the fit and quality are what you'd expect in a work boot. I will enjoy showing them off.

The boots arrived in a timely manner, but they were a shade darker than they appeared on the site and they had black marks on the the side toward the front which made me unhappy with giving this gift to my husband. We also discovered the same black marks toward the top of the boot which my husband said it will not be seen because he will have pants on over them. They need to boost their quality control dept so that orders are not being shipped out with markings on the boot.

I purchased these boots for a 12 yr old who is going rapidly and loves his boots. Since he will be in them for such a short time for he is a growing boy, I was greatly led by price. These boots are affordable and work well for their purpose and were the best cost for quality that I could come across. I had been to local stores and could not find anything available at this price for the item we were after. My son likes them very much.

My husband drives for a living. These boots are perfect for his line of work. They are comfortable, fit well and are his style. He also liked the Natural color which he wears when we go dancing. He looks very sexy in them with the cowboy cut heels. The price is affordable enough for two pairs and I am hoping to also purchase a pair for myself. I recommend these, but do purchase some water proofing if needed to protect your investment.
