Nice boots for the price. Be aware though, you get what you pay for...on my boots you can literally see the nails holding the heel...they came through the side of the heel, and it is apparent that instead of correcting the problem, they simply attempted to grind them down so they were smooth...which didn't really work. With that said, I would still order again...

It was with some trepidation that I took a chance on these boots. I was purchasing a pair of Lucchese Boots and saw these price reduced boots. As I would be waiting 11 weeks for the Lucchese Boots I thought why not try these while I wait. With Shepler's return policy how could I go wrong. I ordered the boots one size larger as recommended. They fit perfectly. The leather seemed rather dry and hard but with application of mink oil and then repeated applications of a quality neutral color boot polish, I find the boots soft, easy to wear, and a great looking boot for casual situations and work (construction). Buying cowboy boots made in India seems ironic to say the least but in this case it was a smart buy.

Needed them for a trip out west

I haven't worn them yet, mostly because they don't go with anything I own. I ordered gray but they are actually more of a pale blue color.

The description said the boots ran small and to order a size larger. I actually ordered a size and a half larger because it was in the color I wanted and I figured I'd just wear a heavier sock. The fit is great, especially with a medium weight sock. A half size smaller would have been a bit too snug for my liking. They look terrific (black cherry). Ordering from Shepler's is a breeze.

As an English person living in London we have little open range or cattle to round up, but with these boots on i feel like John Wayne. The boots hardly needed breaking in, they were comfortable from day one. I spend a lot of time in London walking and after an 8 hour day on my feet the boots gave me no trouble at all. I'm a U.K size 8 shoe, and on reading Shepler's guide i ordered a size 9 D which proved perfect for me. The only snag which can't be helped is the post & packaging plus customs costs into the U.K.that doubled the cost of the boots, which still under cut what you'd pay for a pair of boots in the U.K.I'm now saving up for a horse a lasso and a Tom Mix out-fit, yahooo.

Wear this boot constantly. Feel great. Looks great.

I like the product, but Shepler's took over a month to ship it, had to wait way too long.

These boots are true to size so do NOT order 1/2 size larger. Also the quality is nothing great but for the price I am sure you are not expecting much. But overall cheap cowboy boots are hard to find and these will as good or better than the next.

You advertise to get a half size larger because they run small. The opposite is true -- one should order a half size smaller to get a good fit.

Purchased this product as a gift in April, boots broke down after wearing for 3 months. Very disappointed in product. Would not reccomend this boot.

I was not pleased with the quality of the material. Also the boots were too high and therefore uncomfortable. I returned them. The process of returning them was smooth

if you wear a size 8D , you might consider a wider size , they are tight
