Comfortable all day boots. Cannot recommend enough.

Not happy at all with these boots, colour especially they look something between tan & light purple nothing like blackcherry

These boots go well for dress and casual. Lack of a lining makes putting them on a little hard, but they have loops. I ordered the exact size I wear but wish I had gotten either the wide or a 1/2 size larger. Construction seems great. I wore them doing a walking tour of the museums, etc in DC...and even though they were hardly broken in they were comfortable. If you want boots for hunting or work...get those. These are for dress or casual wear. Easily becoming my favorite boots for all around wear.

Boots look and feel good. One does have a defect but not worth returning as I have already returned another pair and still waiting for replacement.

The Ropers are the only boot my boyfriend will wear, these was bought for him and he loves them

After a little break in they fit and feel great and very good looking.

This is the first pair of roper boots I have purchased in a long time. They look great and are comfortable to wear

My first pair of Roper boots and I was not disappointed. Kind of gun-shy about ordering footwear online, but these fit perfectly plus they good looking boots. I would recommend them to friend or foe. And I will be making more purchases at Sheplers.com.

I bought these for my grandson's first pair of nice boots. He absolutely loves them for their looks and fit. I did order a l/2 size larger than normal shoe size and he says they are a perfect fit. They are nice enough and dressy enough to wear with western shirt and pants. The price was excellent and about what I wanted to pay. The shipping was very quick . I highly recommend these boots to any man.

These boots are very comfortable and a good value for the price. They have a strong tanning smell (still strong after 2 weeks), but I'm sure that will fade with time. Good looks for casual or work wear; should work as well for formals. My only complaint is with the workmanship details - there were small areas of white imperfections (cuts on the leather, sewing holes, and small nicks) that were very noticeable on black boots. I guess that's the risk you take when going for the inexpensive stuff in the catalog. Luckily, I have a bottle of Scuff Kote (try googling that!) from a trip to Ireland. I used that to paint over the bad areas and now it looks perfect.

to me this is a very versatile boot, the kind you can wear all day any day . it looks good enough to be worn when you Cowboy Up, or when your are just running around in a old tee shirt. these boots are well made and fit my size perfectly, I wear a 10 1/2 D and thats what I ordered and It fit perfectly. for me these boots fill a third purpose I am a professional bearded Santa Clause and these fill out my costume just fine Peter bArizona

I bought this for my boyfriend for Christmas this year(2014). He has the black ropers and loves them. Thought these would be a good fit... Turns out the bottoms are fake leather and look veeeeeeerrrrrry cheap. Not impressed and sending them back the first of the year! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Got the black cherry love the color. Comfortable fit. Nice soft leather.

Product as described. Size as advertised. Will purchase from vendor in the future.

Hi, I am new to boots. However, I had presumed I would be able to get my foot down to the bottom of the boot where I could determine if the sizing was right. The width of the boot is not sufficient for me to get my pointed foot down into the boot. It is an attractive boot but of no use to me. It is on my back porch. I need to pack them back up and return them. I guess I will try an ankle top pair where I will not have this issue. I had thought the top of boots were very wide where getting my foot down and through them would not be an issue.

I have in the past paid twice the price and got the same boot..

I bought these boots for a Christmas present. Receiver loved them!

I bought 2 pairs of these boots, black and a tan. The tan is very light in colour. I bought them to try out roper boots. Unfortunately the black pair had one boot that I couldn't get my foot in, in fact the shafts were different in width. I have spent a week stretching these boots so I can get my feet into them - now I can try breaking them in. The leather quality is poor and the texture is different on each boot. They are very cheap in price and are very cheap looking in appearance. In summary if you want a reasonable pair of boots give these a miss and go up market a bit for better quality.
