Lightweight. Toe protection is on point no scuff. Good ventilation. I went with nb because ive never had them in boots. Honestly ive never had a boot this comfortable. (Note)The side zipper is a blessing every day. I work in a glass factory and walk A LOT. Trust me when I say invest in your feet. GOOD BUY!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I personally get .5 to 1inch bigger to add dr. Scholz Work gels. AMAZINGLY COMFORTABLE . Wont go back to heavy boots again.

Comfortable, lightweight and affordable boots

After having worn for 2 weeks I am pleasantly surprised what an improvement these boots were over my previous pair. Comfort and support you would expect from NB, the extra wide toe-box fit the profile of my feet and the break in period was maybe 30 seconds. I had been wearing Brunt boots and have nothing bad to say about them but the side zipper for easy on and off and the breathability of these New Balance boots puts them ahead of the Brunt in my opinion. The Brunt boots had no ability to breath and although I made it through a SD winter without my feet getting cold on the hot days my socks would be soaked at the end of the day. I work in metal fabrications and commercial structural steel and will be interested to see how they hold up over the next 6 months and just how waterproof they actually are.
