I wanted a pair of full quill ostrich boots to wear as a dress boot, and these are really fine boots. Ostrich does require a little bit of breaking in, but otherwise these boots are extremely comfortable. They are easily worth the price.

Bought few months ago. Hurt my feet then and still do. Only wore them inside on Carpet so they are no scratches on the soles.

A handsome pair of boots, something to be proud of. Over the last 30 years it's been difficult to fine a good fitting well made pair of western boots. Fortunately Lucchese is still requiring that they be made to their high standards. I wouldn't buy anything else.

What else can you say, Lucchese Boots are the best you can buy for a dress boot. I have worn Lucchese's for over 25 years and this pair is the same quality as the first pair I ever purchased. Would buy them again today with no reservation. The Shepler's Store (Loop 410) in San Antonio did not have this boot in stock when I went to purchase them. Jewels in men's boots took the time and effort to order the boots from there distribution center and had them delivered to my home. I cannot say enough about her caring and customer service skill. Shepler's and Lucchese are the only way to go. You have to pay for quality and you get it.

My second pair of Lucchese boots in ostrich. Wanted a dark brown and these hit the mark. Great fit feel and quality. Don't think about them, get em!

They look great with jeans and the fit is absolutely perfect. They feel like they're custom made! I am also thrilled with the build quality. These boots should last a LONG time...

This boot runs big and wide compared to other Lucchese Boots I own. It is also more Black than Cherry. The leather is also much stiffer than my other Lucchese Full Ostrich Boots.

I've been into boots for over 30+years,gator,crocs,lizard,snake,ostritch etc.For this price,you can't go wrong!The black cherry suits Me for a dressier look,goes with just about any boot jean.Love em'

These boots are handmade in the USA and the workmanship shows. I haven't worn them as long as my other Luccehese's but they are exceeding expectations already. The Ostrich is beautiful and leather amazing, fits like a properly made boot should. What else can I say but a perfect 10!

I am happy with my purchase. The one caveat is that I really needed a triple E width. The EE is a bit too snug across the toes.

I bought a pair of these in black a couple of years ago, and I wear them almost every day. I figured I could spread the wear and tear and add to my wardrobe with a brown pair. I love them ALMOST as much as the black (the black just look cooler, I think). The leather feels so comfortable and they are just a fine looking pair of boots. I do like the "feathered" look of the stitching on the black uppers better than the less traditional stitching on the brown. Anyway, based on my experience with the black I can say that these boots wear well, look great (I get positive comments on both pairs all the time from men and women - friends and total strangers), and feel great.

I returned these boots. I really like them, but the left boot had a stitch frayed and broken. I didn't want to start out thinking that would lead to more unraveling. I didn't expect this from Lucchese boots. Maybe just me, but I don't want to start out with a pair of boots that are not in fine condition.

I like very much. The last pair lasted 27 years.these are everybit the boot the last pair was.

I purchased these boots as an anniversary present for my husband. He has always wanted a pair, but did not want to pay the hefty tag. They arrived sooner than I thought, and he got to enjoy them before our actual anniversary! He was mesmerized with them. The boots are beautiful and worth every penny spent! He did say it took a few wears to feel the true comfort.

I have four pairs of Lucchesse boots. Two are this style. I like the black so much, I bought the Sienna pair too. I'm 8.5D and the fit is right on. I also own a few Tony Lama's, Double H and Stetson boots. Lucchesse is hard to beat. I did have the smooth quill version which I sold because the skin was thin and cheap in my opinion. Sheplers is great when you wait for a sale. Their returns are seamless too. My only complaint is their website. The order tracking doesn't really work and it takes them days to respond to an email. The wishlist feature doesn't work either. If they clean up those few things they will be great.

Extremely comfortable, you can walk all day right out of the box. Very oft Ostrich. Would recommend any Lucchese Handcrafted 1883 boots, I have in all colors of Ostrich and Alligator

Very comfortable, wasn’t quite the same color as depicted on the website (I thought the shaft would be a shade or two lighter). I had no issues wearing these all day right out of the box.
