I am dissapointed by the weave of the denim. Does not appear to be on par with levi's standard

Levis, does it get any better? I have never thought so. the 527 is reminiscent of the golden days of Rock N Roll in the 70's. Low rise hip huggers, and of course their bell bottoms. Too bad their not Big Bells. Remember those? Robert Plant and Jimmy Page of Led Zepplin belted it out in their big bells. I digress. 5 Star jeans IMHO.

Finally, a well-priced, low-rise jean that fits and looks great! Levi's has come out with something that looks terrific as an everyday jean, but you can dress it up too. Not as Low-Rise as Lucky, but pretty close. The fit is true, though it's towards slim, definitely not a relaxed fit. The boot opening suits shoes and boots equally well, though with low-profile shoes, the denim may scrape the ground (I own three of these and one pair does this while the other two sit just above the ground with the same pair of shoes). Depends on the cut I suppose. Great pair of jeans for the money!

this is the only style and brand ill wear!!! they fit great and the take abuse with the best of them. i wear them everyday to work and play even as "nice" jeans and they hold up VERY well. my last five pairs lasted me three years even beeing in construction and wearing them everyday. and they are consistent with wear and fit its the same every time. very dependable.

I have been wearing 527's for years and bought dozens of pairs. The last two I ordered had to be sent back due to the fact that levis decided to change to a slim fit thigh and 18" opening. I have larger than average thighs and I could barely get them on. Completely dissapointed that i have to find a new make and model of jeans.

I wear them every day for work and going out. Might buy a few more pair.

Well I bought a pair of 527's and loved them... Perfect fit, perfect waist, thigh and length... But then I bought another 3 pairs of 527's... 1 Eagle and 2 Overhauls... The Eagle is smaller in waist (1/2") , and smaller thigh (1") than my original pair, almost too small. Note the Eagle is Made in Mexico... The Overhauls, are far too small in the waist(1"), and super tight on the thigh (1 1/2")... The Overhauls are made in Sri Lanka... Obviously there are problems with the manfuacturing and keeping the product measurements the same.. For me very dissapointing to have 1 of 4 jeans fit beautifully which means the quality control on sizing is lacking... Even more dissapointing is that I've shipped these to Australia!

I have these jeans in a 34/34 and they fit perfectly. They have worn well over the last 1 1/2 years. Well needing a larger size, I ordered a 36/34. The waist is a great lowrise comfortable fit. I feel the inseam is just a tad too long. I had to roll it. No big deal but kinda strange that 1 34" is perfect and 1 34" is too long. Looks great dont hesitate to buy.

I've had three pairs of these 'exact' same jeans in the last three years, and this pair fits like an entirely different pair of pant – but I don't have the time to do the return/try again thing...wondering what accounts for the difference?

Initially they were an awkward fit. I have small waste and big quads which seemed to pull the waste down. By the second time I wore them they had started to mould to my shape to a point they are now very comfortable. After each wash they take my shape after a short period.

Can't go wrong with the low boot-cut Levis!

The pants is general everyday use. I love the low waistline fit, and the color blend, not to mention the perfect fit. In general i couldn't be happier with a pair of pants.

I'm 55 years old and love these jeans. (reminds me of my old hiphuggers) I should not mention this - but they fit my beer belly great.

It is not the heavy garment as they were in the old days but for a summer jeans it is just perfect. Great fit and still very good quality.

These were much lighter weight than my previous 527 and the colour seems to have "striped" lines up the legs. Disappointed really. Please let me know when these faults are remedied so I can buy some good old original 527's.

Nice enough pair of jeans, except there was hole in right leg that wasn't there for fashion reasons. Quite different to another pair of 527's I bought a while back in LA.

Best jeans for working in. Color and boot cut make the jeans great for work or play .

I never ever purchased clothing/shoes by mail order. Always thought it would be a hassle. How wrong I was :) So I first ordered 2, colour jagger and overhaul. Just to see.. not mentioned in the title that slim jeans so I bought this problem,the material is very thin(((((( not the Levis from what it was before((((((((

boot-cut a bit too large. But ok. The fantastic eagle color goes over anything wrong. Pity they don't do the same color on 501's

My only criticism is of the cloth that Levis use today. The material is thinner, not the thick quality that i remember of years ago and therefore will they be as durable? Time will tell. That aside, the jeans fit me perfectly and look the business with my Sendra boots.

I love Levi's! Unfortunately, my somewhat rare size combination (30W/34L) is extremely hard to find, even in Levi's Stores. Add to it my preference for the low rise/boot-cut style, I was happy to find it here and ordered 5 of them in differeent washes. No regrets whatsoever!

Very disappointed in Levi's brand that they would put out a low quality product like these jeans. Hate the worn look that we could not detect from the picture sample on the web page. But not only do they have a worn look,, they have a worn feel like an old pair of very used jeans and also these run a lot bigger then the size indicated. Obviously not made in the USA.

I bought these for my son who is a college student. He actually likes them. On another order I bought jeans for myself but ordered the wrong size (my mistake). Sheplers accepted my returned jeans and promptly sent me the correct size with no hassle. They will get my future business.

I dont wear cowboy boots, but wear them over work boots. Great fit. A little tight through the thigh, but fit very well. Larger leg opening than most, so it covers boots well. Highly recomment them.

The page gives the facts about this kind of jeans that had been made a few years ago. The current incarnation of it is a "slim" version that has a smaller leg opening than the number given on the page. I sent my order back.

I took one look at the hem of the jeans and the line they cut over my cowboy boots & knew I would love them. New jeans are great when they live up to your expectations and these do!

The left leg was sewn on crooked causing the seam to run along the front of the leg and not on the side. Also I ordered a 34 inseam and the inseam was 35 1/2" I returned them for a refund.

These are my favorite jeans, I've purchased many pairs from many different companies but sheplers always has my size in stock (31W x 32L). It's an odd size and most stores don't carry it and if they do there's only one or two pairs, with sheplers I can get as many as I want. The cut is one of my favorite of all, aside from $200 deisel jeans these are the best cut of any low rise boot cut jeans. The waist sit right on the hips and is nice and snug then starts to loosen up a bit around the knee for movement. The boot taper starts just below the knee and is nice and gradual. The fit can vary from pair to pair however the jeans I've purchased from sheplers have all been exactly the same fit. I have noticed that if you stay in the same model the sizing stays more consistant, I wear 31x32 in the 527 but a 30x32 in the 529's. The quality of material is very high and lasts for years, I waer jeans almost every day for almost every ocasion. I've got work jeans, dress jeans, grease jeans, most of which are 527 & 529'sI used to buy abercrombie & fitch jeans but they are over priced and just don't last, I expect jeans to do a job and hold up for years and these 527's do just that, the material is tough yet very comfortable and holds that washed and worn a thousand times feeling without crapping out on you in two years. All in all, if your looking for a tough and good looking comfortable low rise boot cut pair of jeans than look no further, 527's are the jeans for you and I. There are more colors available but sheplers only carries these four plus one more wash that's a couple more dollars but are very nice as well. I wish they carried the other colors because sheplers price & service can't be beat. [...]

Levi's changed the 527 from low rise boot cut, to low rise skinny. These aren't the old style, they are simply wrongly described.

My son is tall and slim. we ordered a 31 x 34 and they look great on him. Definitely are going to order another pair. We love that Sheplers has a great range of sizes for tall, slim folks. we can't ever find 31 x 34 in the stores.

Jeans look great, Sheplers site was a easy as 1-2-3.

The fit of this product differs dramatically from the 527s I bought in the past. These jeans are much narrower than my old 527s (I have a few) and are completely unsuitable for men with muscular legs. But I imagine they would look great on a guy with skinny legs. The material is flimsy, yet feels coarse. The construction quality is subpar -- one of the pockets cannot be used because the inner part, which should hang freely on the thigh, was riveted to the pocket opening. Also, extra fabric was still hanging off one of the belt loops and many threads were peeking through the seems. I was very dissapointed when the jeans were delivered.
