The waist size is smaller than the other four pairs of 501 that I have. Still fits, however, to return same from Australia is not worth it.

jeans fit well. they felt like an old friend from day one. washing just makes a good thing better. i weare the jeans everyday and they fit in to my life style.

I have worn these jeans for 36 years. I love the way that they feel and the way that they used to fit. I will not wear anything but Levis 501. My only regret is that my waist has not changed in the 36 years, my waist is still 29 inches and my inseam is still 36 inches. I have to buy a 31 inch waist because a 29 inch waist is no longer offered in a 36 inch inseam. I just have to wear a belt now to keep them from falling down. I refuse to wear any other jeans, since 1975.

501 are perfect, and I received them in Europe in a very short time. Thanks!

jeans come and go but nothing beats the original 501 button fly jean. nothing fits better, wears better or looks better.

The 501 jeans fit better then the zipper kind. I ordered the 36 Waist and 30 Inseam. Jeans always run long on me -but the 501 Button Fly seem to fit lower in the waist and I like that---Could be even a little LOWER.

Levis material seem a lot thinner than it used to be, possibly due to the fact that they're now made overseas.

I bought two pair of Levi's 501, rinsed, jeans. The material feels slightly lighter than what they used in the "Old Days." That could also be attributed to the fact that these are rinsed and not "shrink to fit;" so they were not the stiff jeans of the past. Quality was excellent and fit was perfect.

You do not have the colour I like the most.

Not totally happy with product. Slight infearier quality. Did not know 501's come with button fly. But to expensive to send back from Australia to America.

Levi 501's are the only style my husband will wears. He is hard to fix being 6'5" and 160lbs. But Shepler's always has them. A little pricey though. So watch for sales.

the 501 button is a great example of jeans you can live in. I prefer the button fly to the zipper.

I have been wearing 501 jeans all my life. The colour of this pair was fading in a very strange pattern after the first (!) wash. See photo. And I know how 501 jeans should behave, trust me. Something is very wrong with the quality of the fabric. I would return it if had not moved back to Germany now (had the jeans shipped to my location in the US during my vacation). A waste of money.
