When they arrived, they had a chemical smell. I kept them outside for a few days before giving them as a gift. The chemical smell was still there. The leather looks great! Personally, I like tall boots that taper in at the ankle. I would not say these really do.

Before I get into my review I want to say that the sales people are Boot Barn in Olathe are the best at what they do, Tina is wonderful she helped me order found these boot on line for a great price, they didn't have them in stock she had a pair in a brown but I have been looking for a pair in black. She made sure that the size was right and we ordered them. I received a email in 3 days telling me they were in. I love these boots the heel was a little higher than some of my other boot but that was what I was looking for. I love the look of the boot and they go great with long skirts and jeans. I could ware them all day long. Thank you Tina.

Absolutely love my boot. I ordered a half size bigger and they fit perfectly.

Very nice boots. Look better in person than online BUT size up. My daughter is a true 7 1/2 and could not get them on. She is trying to exchange so not sure if half size or whole. She is pretty particular and loves them.

I bought these boots in a 1/2 size larger than my usual size. Unfortunately, I can not get my foot in them, it presses so hard on the top of my foot, no way to get them on. I will have to return.

These boots are beautiful! I wear 7.5-8 size shoe and ordered size 8 to be safe. I cannot get the boots on, so they have to go back. The disappointment level is high. :(

These boots are beautiful in person. Cut a bit narrow at the ankle, making it hard to maneuver your foot into the boot. Light weight socks made a difference. Pointy toe rubs a bit, but these should be fine once broken in. Love the look.
