I bought this work boot a few weeks ago to replace the same boot I've had for the past 5 years. I own a horse farm so I need a sturdy boot that can withstand abuse. This boot is substantial without being clunky. I've been stepped on by horses without having the boot (or my foot) suffer damage. I highly recommend this boot.

Super happy with my boots! Only thing is that I would say they run a tiny bit small. I normally wear a 9 or so, but I bought a 9.5 in this shoe. It still felt a little shorter than I wanted it to be. So next size up may have been a better choice for extra toe room. Otherwise great purchasing experience and great boots.

Everyday my feet go through the Washington mud and rain on my rounds around the sound. I do rain garden tours and planting in mud. I garden in mud, Weed in mud, and plant native trees in muddy conditions. These boots love it as much as I do. They never complain, are never wet inside and are easy to get into and stay into all 10 hours of the day. It's a mutual love affair. Buy then now and you and thank me later. Honestly. My daughter had got me a pair of these last year for Christmas and has bemoaning the condition of her pair. She told me she hasn't been able to find them anywhere online so I was tickled to find these. I am so excited was able to get these for her for Christmas. She will be so happy

I have worn Romeo's nonstop for close to 20 years and have always been very happy with them. My most recent pair however is night and day from previous. It seems that the materials have changed to lesser quality. I can usually get a year or 2 easily out of a pair but this pair after 6 months are falling apart. The insole is now non-existent and the sole is cracking and chipping away. Very Disappointing!

I run an automotive shop and I'm on my feet at least 10 hours a day. I have bought 5 pairs over 10 years of these boots, never really wearing them out. These shoes are the best work boot I've ever found. My old pairs usually become my yard work shoes.

I've had my first pair of Romeo's for several months . It was difficult to break them in but now I wouldn't trade them for any other shoe. If theses wear out I will buy new ones

These are great sturdy shoes but the top of the shoe is so high that it is painful to walk in them. They need to be worn in the rain to soften up the top of the shoes.

They looked like giant clown shoes on my feet, especially with the sole that extends out past the shoe itself. They are very bulky. Each shoe also fit completely differently. One was perfect and the other almost flopped off my foot it was so large.

I own an excavating company and am on jobsites all day. I wanted a work shoe that didn't lace up, and this really works for me. Before I starting wearing them, I sprayed them with a waterproofing spray, and they now keep my feet dry no matter what. They are comfortable and rugged.

I just bought these for the first time and I love them!

I bought these as a yard work shoe. Something easy to slip on and off and sturdy to do some yard work. I got complements on them right away, so I bought a second pair for going into town. The first pair felt great immediately. The second pair gave me a blister on the inside of my foot, so I’d say there is some inconsistency in how they are made. My first pair are beat to death within a couple of months.While these looked like leather, they are not. they are some type of neoprene with nice leather-like cover. See photo. I like the style, but they are the worst shoe I’ve ever had for moderate work requirements. Sure wished there was a women’s shoe that was comfortable and durable. Georgia, you need to keep up with women and try harder.

No break in needed . The leather is soft and the sole is solid . These are my everyday shoe. The may look heavy , however they have a very lite feeling . I did size down one size .
