Love these boots. I use them to hike in daily for the ankle support. They are easy to break in and I've used them for years and don't even bother trying others anymore because these are perfect for me and my purpose.

I became interested in this style of boot due to me having bad/weak ankles. considering that im very active, i needed the support. i first tried the justin and after the second time of wearing them, quickly realized they were too stiff and too heavy and went to my local supply and tried on the georgia. i've gone through three pair of which were each resouled atleast once and now about to pull the trigger on a fourth. with each pair, once broken in, feel like a pair of house slippers. as mentioned by others, the lether on the last two pair do seem to be a bit harder than previous. overall, i'll have to give them a two thumbs up.

purchased these boots a few times the lacer which I have worn out and a couple of years ago the ranch and pull on boot of a truth they are very comfortable but! both pair the soles cracked across the sole about 3 to 4 inches from the top there making them water accessible to taking in water, I feel they are a bit overpriced and for that reason I would not purchase another pair maybe try a another brand.

I purchased the boots about a month ago with the impression they were USA made but they were not. The boots are a serviceable product.

These boots last me years of hard abuse. Once broke in these boots are the best I've had.

glad i came across these boots! The first pair i purchased in 09 when i was a wholesale grocery manager...great comfortable boot and went well with business casual dress on a sealed concrete floor. In 2011 i made a career change and took myself back to school to get my automotive degree. I worked at a couple different jobs as i went through school, overnight conv store attendant and as a cook/bartender in a bar and grill. These boots went through h@#$ (h e double Lincoln logs) all day...and i still felt like i walked on a cloud. It is now 2015 and i just purchased my 2nd pair. I have been a store manager in an automotive shop for 2yrs now. There are some slight differences in my 1st and 2nd pair...however none that take away from great comfort and great quality. I purchased a pair of tony lama when i started shopping again...and regret the purchase. i did the whole mink oil and low heat oven to expedite the break in period...3 weeks later i bought my 2nd pair of Georgia boots! For my application the Georgia boot is for me. Thank you for a great boot!! The best advice about boots was given to me 20 yrs ago...spend good money on work boots. My money is with Georgia boot!!

I bought these boots two months ago for work. I gave these boots two stars because right out of the box they fit perfect and are very comfortable with minimal wearing in required. However, I’m on my feet constantly throughout the day and after only two months the outsole has almost separated from the midsole. I love these boots, but if they start quite literally coming apart at the seams after only two months I don’t know if it’s such a sound investment.

I bought this pair a few weeks ago. Second pair for me. They hold up to rough farm work from feeding livestock to mending fence line 7 days a week. Feet stay dry and warm. Just a little cleaning and they look good.

These boots will take a lot of punishment and will last a long time.

My husband is a welder/iron worker for his profession so these are strictly for work use! He literally bugged me everyday till they arrived! It took about 3 days total from when we ordered them and they arrived in store for pickup. Why would a plain leather boot (no insulation or waterproofing) have a 3/4" thick padded tongue? The tongue leather is also spliced creating a huge knot of leather which digs into my foot. Rookie mistake; Georgia should not be making.

I have several boots from Ga Boots because of their quality and comfort. This is another fine work boot. I wear this one when I’m working in my garage or my shop. Soft and easy on the feet when working on concrete all day.

I bought my first pair of these boots 18 months ago. I am a construction worker and a big man, so I go through some boots. These are no good in a cold winter, but spring, summer and fall they are the most comfortable boots I have ever owned. Indeed!

Wearing my 5th or 6th pair now, all I know I have been wearing them for years. A good tuff boot, does NOT track dirt or mud into the house.

I am a commercial finish carpenter and spend all day on my feet on concrete, asphalt, and gypcrete. I am been dealing with plantar fasciitis for the last couple years and am very picky about my boots. I have used the mid rise logger style with the shorter heel for 2 years, with 2 pairs of boots. They worked really well for my foot pain but not so great for my job with bending down to run base boards and whatnot. I tried these because the leather was softer and maybe the flat sole would hold up better and work better for me. What I didn't realize is the insole is not removable. Huge problem when you need to add insoles. I had no choice but to add them in on top of the stock ones which raised my heel up enough to rub on the heel stitching. I didn't even know a triple blister was possible until I wore these boots. The sole seemed to have to much give as well and after a month of suffering I went and bought a different pair of boots. If I was standing in dirt and whatnot and not walking as much as I do, I could probably like these boots more. For my line of work, my first pair of boots that I wore out were better than these after only a month. Keep them on the ranch.

These are great boots. They're not broken-in yet, but they're getting there. Glad I got these. A few thoughts: * I used the sizing chart, a yardstick, and a wall to determine my size. Worked perfectly. Your mileage may vary. * The leather welt is an awesome feature, and the construction is stable and solid without being hard on my feet. I have all kinds of foot problems, and these haven't hurt me like cheaper boots. In a world where price tag and quality are often unrelated, I guess you sometimes do get what you pay for. * The eyelets and speed laces are solid, heavy, and durable. I've noticed how cheaper boots have thin, cheap hardware. * The soles are not heavy lug treads, so they don't track mud around as bad. You think you want an aggressive tread until you have to deal with how much Georgia you carry around with you. *The leather is unlined, except for at the top and the padded tongue. You think you want a lining until you realize it's too hot to wear a lined boot half the year. Even though they're not technically waterproof, I stood in a puddle for about 15 minutes and had no leakage. They aren't hip waders, but that's pretty good. Your mileage may vary. Great boots, want another pair.

I to have been a loyal Georgia boot fan and as other comments always great out of the box. The last pair of boots the construction is different and the quick lace grauments hit me in the ankle bone. The leather is not as soft, thus longer break in period. Sorry Georgia lost a customer.

This is my third or fourth pair, they are broke in the day you get them.I have been looking for these boots for 6 months and just found this site no one else had my size (11). I am a farmer and these boots stand up great.

My latest purchase was my 4th pair. Boots purchased prior to this pair did not need a break-in period. the latest pair do need a breakin period . There is a seam stitched in the tongue that causes irritation to my ankle. This irritation/pain has never been present in previous models.

This is the 3rd pair of Farm & Ranch boots I have purchased. I keep repeating my order for the same style of boot because Farm & Ranch boots are very comfortable to wear long hours of a work day. They feel good to my feet and I like a boot that doesn't tire a man's foot out at a long period of standing and crouching. Farm & Ranch boots are very flexible and move easily with your ankles as not to put stress where it is not needed. Farm & Ranch boots are very durable. I get at lease two and a half to three years wear out of them and I wear them most every day of the year. I recommend Farm & Ranch boots to any one who has long hours on there feet and need comfort and support as well as protection. My son left his pair of logger's at my home before he deployed in USS Abraham Lincoln. Thought I would give them a try. They fit well, look fantastic, and are as solid as the name implies. So I bought a pair for myself and I love em. A friends grandfather once said "there are two things in life that you should always pay good money for, a good mattress, cause you need good sleep. And good boots, cause your feet will be in em twice as long as you will be in your bed. Spent good money on these boots. I don't regret it a bit. The heels are tall, so if you have weak ankles these may not be for you. Georgia boot. After 58 years of boot buying... they are now my favorite. Mike USN RET

I got a pair of the older style of these boots that were previously owned and very used by 2 other people. One person was an ironworker and the other was a commercial framer and both were hunters. between the two of them they were worn for 6 years before I took them over for three years....yes 9 years of use. They felt like brand new when I put them on, so I kept them. there was no shank so the sole didn't crack in half and even the foot bed felt like a cloud. I'm an industrial mechanic and wore those until the leather thinned out and the soles were paper thin...amazing boots. New ones have shanks (need a model without a shank!!) which snap the sole in half, but if they all lasted 9 years they wouldn't be bought so often...cant have that. other than that these boots are awesome.

Well made boot with quality leather. Surprised at how light they are. Boots were very stiff at first, applied a good coat of mink-oil, now they fit like a glove. Love these boots!

I have had these boots and have worn them daily fo a little over a month. The stand out feature is the SPR leather. Very impressive. The extensive tanning process is obvious and it is very thick and even throughout the boot. It will take a while to break them in. They still rub my Achilles during longer walks. The sole is soft underfoot with better cushioning while walking on hard surfaces than I expected, yet it has shown zero wear so far. The only reason I did not rate 5 stars is because I believe a boot of this quality everywhere else should have a high quality removable/replaceable insole, especially at this price. The cushioning inside is not great, and it is either glued or sewn in like you would find on much cheaper, lower quality boots. And it is not removable, making it impossible to insert a better insole yourself, even if youbwere ok with the added cost. If the insole isn't an issue for you, this would make a great work boot. The uppers should stand up to a lot of wear.

Break them in slowly. I've taken about a month to do so. Last week wore them all day clearing brush and trees and they felt good. True test will be when they go to the shop. 12 hour days on concrete. Will report back in a month or so.True to size.

They have worn great and have been through almost 6 years of hard wear around the farm (manure, creeks,mud, tractor fluids- nothing had phased them) I did treat them as needed with Norvegan leather treatment. I would wear them for dress and for work the first couple years, they cleaned up THAT WELL. Time is catching up to them though, and I have been looking for another pair for almost a year. I would buy two pair if I could get a Women's size 6.5 or a men's size 4.5

Purchased these boots after hours of trying to find a pair that most represented my last purchase that had were no longer available. The tongue is so high to slip into the boot and the cushion is very poor on the bottom of my feet.

Ordered online couldn't find in store. Delivered very fast good wearing boots very satisfied.

These boots are the best. I'm in and out of stores every day. They track less than even tennis shoes. When the day is over at work and I get to the farm they get messy but they clean easily for work the next day. The comfort is a whole new story. I'm very well pleased with them.

This is the second pair of Goergia Boots that I bought my husband. The first pair are still working great, they have no laces. The second pair I just bought him are wonderful. He wanted a pair of Lace-up Boots for all the farm work we have and these are great!

Have been wearing these boots for years! One great thing they do not track due to the tread on the boot! I wear these everyday for work and I like them so much I have a pair for dress.

I've had my Georgia boots about a month - I thought I'd have to wear them a little each day until they were broken in - by the 2nd hour I had them on, I forgot that I was wearing new boots! From jumping on & off tractors to riding the Harley there's no need to change shoes. I double coated mine with Neatsfoot oil to soak in the leather but they are as soft as if that was already done out of the box. Thanks Georgia for still making a great product!

This is my 2nd pair of farm and ranch boots and I love them. From working to leasure to washing our semis I wouldn't have any other boots.

I bought this boot for work when I was a Union Carpenter. It was the lightest most comfortable boot I've ever had. I hung hundreds of sheets of drywall in them and the most important thing for me was to have a good work boot. And this boot was perfect. I recommend this boot to people all the time.
