      These lizard boots are gorgeous. Well made. Quality materials. I wanted a pair of boots with a leather sole. These fit the bill. After wearing a few times, the foot has broken in nicely. They are comfortable for me except that they are a bit too roomy around the heel and ankle. I bought normal width, in my standard shoe size, 7.5. Wearing a slightly heavier sock stops the heel movement, but then the toe area is too snug. But I love the boots and very happy with Shepler's service and price.

      If you're die hard believer that only Texans know how to make them - this pair will prove you wrong. I owned a few pairs all made in USA by very well known and respected makers ... this pair fits better than any of my Old Gringos or Lucchese.
