Bought these for my 21 year old son who is a photographer and is often bending, on the ground, getting into weird positions to get the shot, he also skateboards and he LOVES the flexibility of these pants.

For the most part, I like these pants. The one problem I see with them is that the belt loops in the front are to far apart. I am a large man wearing pants with a 48 inch waist. With the belt loops as far apart as they are, the front of the waist band rides up over the belt and comes unhooked. Please move the belt loops closer together in the front.

I don't know what happen at Dickies but right now I'm sitting with 5 brand new pairs of Dickies 2 Flex 874 pairs and 3 Original 874's all in regular fit and all 5 are to small to even close around my waist. I have many other pairs of regular fit Dickies in my size (36" waist) that fit perfectly so I know its not my size that changed it's Dickies manufacturing. Will try to exchange these for 38" and see what they fit like, or just give up on Dickies all together.

Just like another pair of khaki style pants from Dickies, these pants are apparently for a much younger generation than mine. The length or the zipper is too short and the fit is for a leaner body type. I like the pair of loose fit, straight leg pants from Dickies much better.

These pants are the best. They are very comfortable, as promised they stretch and flex with you as you bend and twist. Also, these are dressy enough for the office and comfortable and tough enough for the garage.

Bought two pairs which were supposed to be the same size. They are not the same waist size. One is a bit tight. Cannot trust to have correct size is not convenient to return, etc..

Good material, good workmanship, and nice looking. The only thing is that he used to wear 30 inch inseam and that is what I ordered. These pants are about 1.5" too long, so I have to shorten them.

The waist rolls a little more than the original pants but it can be fixed with a wide belt. These pants are perfect for work and the flex helps when I have to be on my knees. They look great too.

Literally the only work pants I will ever wear. I’ve been wearing Dickies for close to ten years and can never go back to anything else. Great fit and great quality. I work a job that creates a lot of wear and tear on pants and a pair of Dickies will hold up for years.

I bought these 93 year old Father. He was an auto mechanic and he still likes to tinker with motors. The Dickies pants are soft and comfortable and durable for him. The only complaint he has is that then minimum length is 30". He wears a 28 or 28 so I had to hem them for him.

Pants fit nice and are comfortable. My problem is that with the first washing they got all these little balls on the front of the thigh area. Not bad 1st wash but every wash after that gets worse . Ill stay with original 874s.

Pants look fine. They are 38 30. I really need 29 inseam, which does not seem to exist. So off to the tailor shop. Lack of 29 is all that stops a 5 star rating.

I have worn regular 874's for years (wish they would bring back the expandable waistband.) These are very comfortable and do stretch to some degree. The big plus is the black inner waistband that doesn't show on us bigger guys.

Tried them on the first time I was impressed with a little more workability with these work pants. not too stiff with more pliability. Whether 874 or 874 flexi, it is a tough call I am impressed with both brands.

Great pants, very comfortable and have a good fit. Professional looking. The sizes seem to be very accurate if not a little towards the smaller side, so if you like them a little looser then order a larger size.

I wear a size 34 waist, so I ordered a 34. For these pants to have been close to buttoning I would have needed to order a 38. The quality and size lived up to the very inexpensive price. You get what you pay for.

these new flex work pants are even better than the og 874's. Super comfortable but still keep the same basic feel as the originals. They feel good in the waist, breathable and well, flexy. My new favorite pants.

My new flex work pants got me very extatic and I’ve worn them all the time ever since they came; they have a durable fit ndustrial feel to them that adds to their appeal; i am confident they’ll outlast all my other brand pants; it is no wonder skateboarders prefer this brand for rough skateboarding. Great work pant. However, the fit is very small around the waist. I usually wear a 32”and the 32” I ordered fit like a 28”. I then ordered a 34” waist and they are too big, very inconsistent sizing.

I love my Dickies 874. I even have my tailor cut off the legs and make shorts out of them for summer wear. I have one complaint though. . . The metal hook waist band closure unhooks if you tighten your belt too much. I also have my tailor remove the hooks and install a large button and button hole on all my pants.

I have wore Dickie pants for years after having red Capp provided by my work place and when they stopped providing them I switched. That being said I started wearing Dickie 874 original fit khaki pants and love them, they fit great and wear like iron. Look great for years. They do fade over the years but you barely notice. But then I bought a couple pair of these 874 flex original fit pants in black , they fit great , but within a couple of months they started looking fuzzy and I have been very disappointed with my purchase of these pants. I will Never buy the black ones again. Truest Disappointed.

The sizing is the same as regular 874’s … which can take a few attempts to get the right ones (I usually wear a 34 to 36 waist with a 32 inseam… 874’s I wear 38-30). I love my Dickies

I bought these witht the expectation of them being quite flexible as is the trend in pants today. These only stretch maybe 1%-2%. It is not even noticeable even when pulling on the material between your hands. The one thing they do have going for them is Dickies finally stepped up the 874 and used a dark waistband lining and dark pockets. The shortest size available is way too long on a short guy like me, and a traditional button I feel would be preferable to the metal clip on the inside. Aside from that, these pants feel durable and comfortable, and indeed very flexible! I have to do a lot of walking back and forth and ocassionally squatting down to grab items at work and they work well with me.

The flex for sure are more comfortable than the skate and after washes are a little less crispy already but still have the dickies look. I like them better than the skate so far just cuz the comfort factor. Fit around the waist and length almost exactly the same as the skate. True to size/ a little snug. I run 32/33 and my 33s are snug and easy to wear without a belt. I could prob run 34s

It would be wise to order these a size bigger then what you normally wear. I ordered two pairs of shorts back in the summer and only one pair fit. I figured it was a mistake when being made and ordered the same size in two pair of pants. Neither pair fit properly. I'm afraid to reorder a bigger size for fear of them being to big.

The fit is SO exact that I think it would be a little more comfortable to order one size up in the waist. Don't get me wrong, they fit great, but if I ever eat too many burritos they're gonna feel tight haha. Otherwise they're tough as ever, comfortable, and they look good off the job too. I wish they still had the little thigh pocket but that's a personal thing. Love them!

Pockets are far to small! It’s impossible to easily get your wallet out! It fits in tightly! Belt loops are to small! Most belts don’t fit easily! Loops could be a little bigger! After buckling the left over tongue doesn’t fit in the loop on the left of front center! If you stoop in your pants the bend in the knee will remain as long as you wear the trousers! These are required work trousers or I would be wearing something else!

Only complaint is the belt loops placement is weird. To many on the back and lacks loops on the front. Otherwise I love them and I still rate them high.

While I'm told that my waist is 42" I am comfortable wearing 38". These pants fit pretty well for me, However, I must make sure to pull them from the dryer immediately. If I forget, they come out a crumpled mess and I have to iron them, which is a huge bummer.

I love these pants- but they arrived with the waist band incompletely sewed up. The part of the waist band where the clasps connect were unsewed, so instead of sending them back I opted to sew them myself. Luckily I order things with low expectations, and I think I may have attended a home ec class back in school so I just fixed it myself rather than wait forever to get the situation ratified. But ya they’re very comfortable, I ordered a second pair last week, I highly doubt there’s any way this could happen a second time! I hope not.

I selected a deep navy and have found it to be a very versatile color. While the top block was a great fit (room to breathe and great rise), I do find the leg openings to be a bit wide to work in the office, at least for my stature. Flex fit is definitely a must. I might get them tapered for that reason but they pose no problems to off duty style.

This is the first time I tried the Flex version of 874 work pants. The waist of the blue pair fit fine, the waist in the brown pair (same nominal waist size) was more "snug". I like cotton as the base fabric, so I was disappointed that the % polyester is 65%.

comfortable, definitely prefer the flex, love the color. I have a bigger seat and thighs than average I guess, so the relaxed fit is still a little tight in those areas. if I cuff the pants it looks good but if not they almost look like flares so I'd recommend a size up if you don't want to roll them.

Dickies, even the flex brand, do not fit well at the waist. Where I am a 32 in any other pant, I am a 34 in dickies which makes the pant legs way too wide for my taste. This was not the case ten years ago.

Bought these for work, along with some of the original 874 work pants because I had never tried either and wanted to compare. The FLEX series are more comfortable, and they run more true to size than the 874 original (the original run a bit small). However, I have washed both a few times now, and the original 874's seem more durable and rugged for the long time use, while the FLEX series become more "warn in" and faded (over time). So its a toss up on which one I like more, but like its stated above, the FLEX are more comfortable. They both seem like great and tough pants though. Would definitely order more in the future.

Been wearing the regular 874's for years. I decided to try the 874 FLEX. Shipped quickly. My initial impressions: The material is durable but more relaxed than the regular 874's. The name FLEX means that the material is more relaxed and NOT stretchy. They fit and feel absolutely great. Also, I struggled with the small belt loops on my previous 874's. These 874 FLEX's have large belt loops which is a nice change. Also, my previous regular 874's had white inside material for the pockets and wastebands. The 874 FLEX's have dark material. Also a plus!

Bought 3 pairs in different colors. Love the pants but my only complaint is that the belt loops are entirely too big. Ended up restitching the belt loops for a smaller belt. Otherwise very happy with the pants

I bought online two short sleeve work shirts. The first one is as wide as an elephant. The second - relaxed fit - is identical to the first, also wide as for an elephant. I am very dissatisfied. Also, the stickers on the T-shirt leave white glue, everything sticks - it looks dirty, I can't remove it. I will never buy anything again. I don't have time to return it, I lost my money.

I bought a pair of these pants to test and they far succeeded my expectations. The 874 FLEX Work Pant fits true to size, they are super comfortable for all day long wear, and I love the flex-ability. The amount of flex is very minimal so you can hardly "feel" it, but you notice it everytime you bend down or squat since you do not need to pull up your pants before squatting. I love them, I will definitely be purchasing more.

The pants themselves are great. my one complaint is that the sizing is small. I have at least ten pairs of pants in my closet with a 31" waist that fit nicely. These were so tight I had to get a tailor to let them out. If you order a pair, I'd go at least 1" over your normal size, maybe even 2"

I go up a size or 2 in the waist to make sure they’re not to snug on the thighs, so of course they end up big in the waist but once I add a belt they are perfect. Much more comfortable than the regular work pants (non-flex) with the same look. I’ve bought around 4 pairs now and don’t regret any of them. Definitely recommend!

It doesn't "flex" as much as I expected from the name of the item. The front and back pockets are much smaller than I expected. I bought these to wear while working as a Paramedic because EMS pants are grossly overpriced but in the future, I will probably go back to paying the extra money for the more comfortable pants.

874 Flex are a good pair of pants. Slight flex to material. However, the waist band does not flex, which to me defeats the main purpose. Also, Charcoal color is not accurately represented in the pictures. Charcoal is almost black.

Too soon to really tell. Bought these for work. They're well made for the price. However the name is very misleading. I don't know who decided to use the word "flex" for these pants. The waist doesn't adjust and this is the stiffest pair of pants I've ever had. Also Dickes in general run very small so go two sizes up. I saw that online, thought it was ridiculous but did it anyway to be safe. I'm glad I did because they *just* fit. They need to change the name of these pants.

If your getting a larger waist size the inseam measurement changes as well. I went from a 36x30 to a 38x30 (old age and bad food) and the 38x30s are more like 38x31/32. Not a huge deal still great durability and comfort. Just something to know.

Time to get current Dickies company. Pants that pull all the way up to your belly button went out of style 5 years ago. Same goes for shorts. The shorts don’t need to reach our knees either. Perhaps you should consider multiple length shorts like other short brands.

Third times the charm as they say... I ordered six pairs of pants for my 96 year old father in the size of pants he had in his closet and when I got them they were way too small. Unfortunately I couldn't return them because when I got them I was so excited I removed the tags and washed them sure they would fit my dad, not so much. So I learned my lesson on the first order and ordered again in two sizes bigger because I measured him and he was between sizes and when I got the second set they were still too small and I didn't remove the tags and wash them before I had him try them on, so I sent them back and ordered the next size up which is too big but he can wear a belt. He doesn't really move around much so the bigger size is okay, gives him a little more room while sitting. I would be careful about the sizes as they seem to run very small.

Purchased 5 pair in different colors- the waist fit was tighter in 3 of the 5 even though I purchased the same size. I was hoping the Flex was a little less stiff than the originals but not so. I’m keeping them but recommend purchasers try them on before removing tags because the waist sz is not universally the same. Khaki pants had the tightest waist.

Dickies used to be a great, quality brand. Since they have moved production offshore, they have lost the quality that used to be guaranteed. Sizing is not for the average American, you have to order at least one size larger than you acutally wear plus the fabric is very thin, Only order because I have to have them for my work.

These pants run a full size small. I'm normally a comfortable 34 waist. I ordered a 36 and it's still semi tight. Also the only thing flexible in these pants is the name. Still just as rigid as a normal Dickie pant.

I've been buying these pants for many years and am not happy with the changes. The fabric is thinner - possibly more polyester and less cotton? The pants fit slightly tighter. Overall the Flex is not my preference.

Material seems well made for the cost of the pants, HOWEVER, the size is not accurate at all. I wear a 30 in waist for every other brand of pants that I wear but the waist on these is extremely tight and uncomfortable and they're supposed to be "stretch" pants. Not sure why the waist band is so tight for these when other brands with a 30 in waist are comfortable and loose fitting.

These were purchased for my father, specifically because in the past he has had their flexible waistband which is great when you are an in-between size. This is not those pants. There is no flex, despite the "flex" being printed all over the inner waistband. I pulled and pulled....no flex. Had to return them. There wasn't a great answer when I asked why they are called flex (I called to ask!)...other than the waistband flexes, which is does not. So on the hunt to find the "right" pants for Dad now.

I bought them for work, they are too tight across the hips where the pockets bulge,, also way too long where when I walk down stairs they fall under the heel of my boot almost tripping me. I'm 180 pounds so I'm not a big guy so I dont understand why they arensontihjt in the hips.. and all my pants are 30 length and none of them are as long as these.. will never buy again or recommend to anyone to buy

These fit the same and look about the same as regular 874 work pants, but they are made of a thinner more flexible material and the pant legs seem wider at the bottom which I don’t like. Also, the back pocket is sewn shut. I don’t like them as much as the regular 874’s.

I have been wearing Dickies workpants for many years and have never been disappointed with the product. They are strong and durable; however they seem to run a bit small so I would suggest ordering a size up from your regular size. Otherwise they are a good buy for work or as casual pants.

I have purchased these pants 2 times. The first time I received them, I assumed there had been a mistake with quality control and the amount and placement of the belt loops. I normally purchase regular 874 pants which have 12 belt loops with 8 in the back and 4 evenly spaced in the front. The 874 FLEX pants have only 9 belt loops with 7 in the back and only 2 in the front and the spacing leaves at least 12-13 inches between the loops. This causes my belt buckle to ride up or down when wearing these pants and doing my normal work during the day. This makes me FEEL unprofessional and I am always worrying about where my belt is. The second time I ordered these pants I found the same problem. I ended up returning the pants as they don't fit my needs. If you wear a belt, make sure you keep a watch on your belt line. In the attached photo, at the top are the standard 874 pants with 4 loops evenly spaced in the front. The bottom 2 pairs are the flex pants with only 1 loop on each side and the spacing is awkward to say the least.

Nice pants and well made, but not as flex as they should be. I bought a pair a few years back and it had a serious amount of waistline elastic that allowed you to really move. If you normally wear 42 then buy that. Don’t have any wiggle room if you buy a 40.

I don't know what's happened. I've been wearing 874's for 30+ years so I know how they fit. I recently bought a pair of the 874 flex pants and I bought the same exact size I have been for about 5-6 years. Same exact color, waist, and inseam that I did last time. The fabric feels different, they are an inch or so longer when it actually says the same inseam, and even though they appear to be about the same size waist I can't even get them on! I don't know what the heck the deal is. I laid them down over my other 874 pants. As I said before they pretty much look like they are the same size waist but they don't fit! They are ever so slightly smaller but not enough to make it to where I can't put them on.

Relatively light weight and comfortable. Love the dark gray color to minimize stain visibility. Only two complains. First is that the pockets aren't deep enough and second the legs taper just a little too much and get bunched on top of boots.

Though I loved the material and look, I found the slacks to be sized differently from the Original work slacks and the first belt loops were way too far back from the front zipper -- both problems resulting in a bunched up gathering at the front. Would not recommend. I'm retired and bought them for everyday wear. Also, since I'm short and overweight, I would have liked a 50/28 size. My 6 pairs of Original work slacks are all frayed at the bottom in the back.

When I think of flex pants I also think of a flex waist. These pants did not flex in the waist much at all. The size was a lot smaller than other pants that I wear in the waist. About 2 inches shorter. I sent them back and the return was a good experience.

I was not able to wear these because of how badly they shrank. I have an old pair of 874's that I love so I bought another pair. I purchased a pair of 874 and FLEX 874's. All the reviews said to get a size larger than what you wear so I did. When I received them I tried them on and they fit great. I then washed them according to the instructions on the tag. When I got them out of the dryer they shrunk so much that I couldn't come close to buttoning them. Very disappointed.

The 874 FLEX are not true to size. I have been buying your 874 regulars for several years now and love them! The waist line of the FLEX are spot on but the length is longer compared to your regulars. I will have to get them altered.

A perfect fit. The best thing for me is the hook and eye closure. My fingers cannot manuever buttons. I am disappointed they are discontinuing this style.

I have worn Dickies pants for at least 15 years and on these 874® FLEX Work Pants the belt loops are too far apart in the front and this allows the pants to ride above the belt in the belly button area and looks really bad. Therefore I no longer wear these.

I LOVE Dickies shirts and own a half dozen of them. The pants, not so much. I have ordered shorts from them before and decided to take a chance on these because they are "Flex" pants. They are not. The same size that fits me, is actually big on me for other brands is tight and uncomfortable when I but Dickies. Also, these pants have a single slide closer, that's it. No side button. This is just asking to break and be irreparable.

I just received these pants a few days ago and all I can say is that they lived up to their reputation. They are decent for everyday work pants (i.e. farming, everyday walk with the dog, casual work uniform, etc.) I usually buy a pant that's 36x30 but I went a size up to 38x30 since I have a little beer belly and it fits nice and still has some room on the waist, crotch, thighs. Highly recommend for a everyday pants! ALSO is really affordable as well!

I’m not sure when or if they changed their sizing at all but I ordered two pairs of 38x34 since I couldn’t find any locally. These are substantially tighter fitting in the waist than any of my other pairs. They fee closer to a 36” waist. My skinnier friend says thanks.

Loves Dickes pants, but the sizing is not close. I am a measure 38-39 waist. I ordered 38 waist. I could get the pants on but not buttoned. I measured the 38 pants I ordered and the actual measurement was 35-36.

The pants are well made. Look nice on my employees, I ordered a total of 15 pants at different sizes. No pant actually fit any one employee. I did send back and ordered a size up for each employee and they fit nice. So I do recommend ordering a larger size waist.

I have given this order 1 star because there is nothing lower. On the new pants that I received and returned; 1. they were marked 36x30 (the size I ordered) but the waist measured 30". 2. the fabric felt cheap and synthetic. the belt loops were twice as wide as they were on the last pairs that I had bought, easily twice as wide as needed. 3. The closure at the belt line was a button but has been replaced with a cheap metal "hook and eye" type closure. Overall "CHEAP","INFERIOR", "POOR QUALITY".

These are great pants with a little flex where you need them. I bought two pair, one sand, one blue, but they are not available silver/gray why? Also, they are made of good quality from Honduras, so no complaints. Unfortunately, there are no longer made in the USA. My last pants lasted 15 years and they were worn a lot. Still a good deal.

The quality and fast delivery were fine, of course. I find sometimes the sizes seem to fluctuate. Ther is no 43 waist so I have gotten 42 before but very tight and 44 is very loose compared to the past 44's I have gotten unless they really shrink when washed (which would be good in my case.) Guess I am losing weight!

Truly FLEX-ible, especially around the waist and thighs. I work in a ballpark and have to go up and down the stairs between innings. With the regular 874s, I felt restricted and uncomfortable the entire day. But with these, I move fluidly and easily.

If this product has built in Flex technology material, I couldn't tell. I have a pair of 874 original work pants 'WITHOUT' this supposed Flex tech fabric, and they genuinely fit better. I was disappointed to say the least.

The sizing of these pants is probably some of the goofiest sizing I’ve ever seen. The quality control on these is nonexistent. I first ordered my waist size and 34 and they were actually size closer to a 30. So I figured let me go up in size and I ordered a 36. These were almost as tight as the 34 all my pants are waist size 34 so I know that’s not me.

I normally buy the 874 original dickies pants but I decided to see what this FLEX option was all about. I sure am glad I did. These pants are very comfortable and if you do alot of bending down, they flex more then the original 874 pants. The waist line is also more of a flex fit. FLEX has a more dress pants appeal. My new favorite type of dickies pants.

Unlike the regular the 874, the 874 Flex rolls over the top of my Dickies belt. Since the inside waist material is white, it gives the appearance of having my underwear showing above the waist line - completely unacceptable. Also, the zipper broke within the first 2 weeks of use on one pair. The reason I purchased the Flex, it was the only 874 option at the local retailer.

I'm in the Air Force and work in the maintenance career field. More specifically, I work on aerospace ground equipment (AGE), or ground support equipment as most people call it. Because we have certain regulations that tell us to maintain a clean uniform all the time, the Air Force authorizes us to wear some sort of work pants, so long as they fit the regulations. Fortunately, they issue us Dickies pants and coveralls. Although I personally bought my pants, I definitely have to say these work for every occasion. I wear them at work and at home. What's funny about these pants is that while they are known as workwear, they are also very popular in the skateboarding "scene". Since I happen to skateboard AND work, I get to wear these pants all the time! I've taken many falls from skating on these and been in all sorts of awkward positions inside various generators/air conditioners/hydraulic test stands etc., and they're still getting the job done. Of course now I own several pairs of Dickies pants, and I have to say it was a great investment. Although they are stiff at first, it only takes a few wears and washes to break them in. They soon become very comfortable and dependable. The last thing I'd like to mention, aside from how comfortable and tough they are, is that they are very cheap. It's insane how much one pair of these are considering they can literally last years. I'm glad I ever tried on a pair of these. I'll probably be wearing this brand for a lifetime.

Seemed to be well made but the waist was so tight that I had to send them back. The waist on these runs so small that I wasn’t sure that exchanging them for a pair two sizes up would be big enough. 32x34 (my normal size and the size of every other pair of pants that I own) wouldn’t even come close to fastening. So I’m trying out both 34 and 36 waist sizes and I’m hoping at least one of them fits. I’m having to order the 874 flex because my company requires me to. The word “flex” is misleading because there is absolutely no flex or stretch in the waist.

Bought these as casual or semi-dress pants. Very particular about length so re-hemming many of these to 31 length. Superior to original 874 pants in comfort. Have not had them that long to test durability but so far they seem good. Love the dark interiors. Still using original 874's for work.

The belt loop on either side of the zipper is eight inches away. Which means there is no support at the front of the pants where it is needed. Unfortunately, I ordered two pairs of these and did not notice the problem until after I washed them and and then went to put a pair on to wear for work.

Good work pants. Would be nice to be able to order in odd increment inseam lengths, I'm going to have to hem these. Also it might be a nice option to have different belt loop widths as an option. I don't wear wide belts because they are uncomfortable since I sit a lot, but my belt swims in these loops.

Despite having the word FLEX in bright red lettering along the inner waist, my most recent purchase does not actually have the elastic waist—There is zero give. I have some older pairs where the stretch is obvious, not so in the latest batch. Bummer, as this means they end up feeling about 1-2 inches too tight.

These are classic Dickies khakis with flex material, so there good. Durability wise they have stood up to major abuse and the material is light enough to wear them in hot or warm weather. One down side if you need tougher material go with the double knee pant!

I bought 2 pairs 1 in khaki and 1 in charcoal both in 31/30 the charcoal fits great all around perfect in the thigh and perfect in the butt area but the khaki has excess fabric in the but area and tends to be a little loose I've had this happen with a few other pairs too I love Dickies so I hope this gets fixed soon !

I like how the pants fit. But the front half of the pants have two belt loops, the area forward of he side seams. The back half of the pants have seven belt loops. How can we not put at least two of those belt loops on the front of the pants to help hold them up. Really? Having bought 7 pairs all were that way. I won’t buy anymore until that is fixed. I wear perry belt hook suspenders for work and there’s no support in the front with these. For now, it’s back to regular 874’s since the belt loops on those make sense.

What happened to the elastic waistband? The description in "Product Details" mentions "The elastic active waist". Be aware these pants Do Not have any elastic in the waistband. You will have to go up a size or two to get a good fit. Will have to return my recent purchase. Very disappointed. Still a good product, except for the redesign of the waistband.

Dickies didn't like my first review, so I'll write another. These pants fit me well. They're comfortable. They're slightly durable, although I've blown out the back seam in multiple pairs after just a few months. On top of that, a few quick Google searches revealed that Dickies manufacturing is pretty sketchy. No reporting on the safety of their factories, where their factories are, what their environmental policies are in their factories. From what I can tell, they're made in sweat shops and likely use toxic chemicals. I'm currently searching for a more sustainable option for my work pants.

Love the pants, but would rather have a button closure rather than the clip. Also. would like to see the belt loops just a little wider. Love the fabric which resists stains. I work tinting paints and most of the time I can get splatters of the tint off the fabric without leaving a stain.

I bought the straight leg and relaxed fit. Really like the feel and the stretch quality. Very durable fabric. The fit is spot on. I already own 2 other pairs. However, My relaxed pair popped the hook. I’ve only worn them twice. Not good at all. I can repair them with a button but I shouldn’t have to do that. I would recommend buttons over the hooks to Dickies.

My husband says that the flexible material is way more comfortable than his other khakis. However, he noticed one of the side seams coming apart the first time he wore them. These were our second attempt at ordering new work pants for him from Dickies. They were to replace a different pair that had the button pop the first time he wore them. I'm disappointed in the quality/workmanship!

I really like them overall, however they did start to pill in the thighs after only a couple days of work. It isn't anything too bad and as long as they don't split I'm more than happy with them otherwise.

My husband needed some work pants for hot weather. These breathe much better than the heavyweight denim he was wearing. The waist is a little snug but the pants in a larger waist size would have been much too big. We are pleased with the quality and expect to get years of use with these Dickies 874® FLEX Work Pant

There’s are a much softer feel and more flex like it says, only difference is that it looks different than the original, there’s visually vertical lines if you look closer because the the different fit style maybe? so if your looking for an exact match because of job uniform/etc as the old style, i’d stay with the old style

I have had Dickies in the past, mostly shirts / T shirts. I thought I'd try the flex pants. The size runs small, unfortunatly I washed them before trying them on - my mistake. The biggest reason I give them 1 star is the front pockets. I could barely fit my hand in them. I'll admit I'm not small - 6'2" 248 lbs. But work pants...not by any standard.

I bought these on a Black Friday sale because the plain ones were not on sale. These are better! They wash and dry perfectly. They fit good and you can move in them very easily. I will now always purchase the Flex pants instead of the plain 874s.

They don't fit. I guess I'm to FAT. Now I have to return. I thought they had a flexible waist band when i ordeded but it's stiff as a board. The flex material is nice and flexible but the waist needs a flex setup. It's the land of the all you can eat. Of course you should have some sort of suspension waist band set up for the fat guys and girls who wearing dickies nowadays. It's 2023 come on man

The quality was nice but the size was WAY off from the Dickies I buy anywhere else. This 30x30 fit like a 28x30 at most. The waist size was at least a size or two smaller than usual for Dickies.

My husband wears a size 44 in work pants. I had read the reviews concerning the size problems others were having so we ordered the bigger size of 46. These work pants didn’t come close to fitting him !! It seems this company is unable to produce a quality product that is TRUE fitting in the waist. Very disappointing !! We will not be using this company again.

I've been wearing 874s for almost 30 years, and didn't think anything could improve upon their look and feel, but the FLEX look and feel the same with that little extra sompn sompn in the waist to give added comfort after a big meal. I love 'em.

I bought two pairs knowing these are the best pants and my husband only wears dickies. He wore them twice and the in seam came apart i had to hand sew them so he was able to wear them to work.i still stand by Dickies but never had them pull apart like the ones he has.

For the past half-dozen years or so, I have ordered a couple of pairs of Dickies 874 Flex Work Pants on about an annual basis. I get 2 pairs of gray pants one year and two black pair the next year. They last me about 2 years each. I take them to my tailor to get them shortened to the right length, and that's it. I like them a lot

Everyone knows Dickies fit 2 sizes too small so buyer beware there, HOWEVER... these are the most comfortable and most stylist looking/feeling Dickies I have ever bought. I've been wearing Dickies for 25 years. These are a bit more forgiving, the black pockets and inner waste look LOTS better and while the "FLEX" is'nt super stretchy, you can definitely tell a difference.

These pants are so much more comfortable than the 874 Originals, but it comes at a cost. I've been wearing them approx. 18 hours a week as a server and they are already blown out in the crotch area. Plus, they cost more than originals. Dickies are usually great for the affordability and durability combo, but if I need to buy a pair of these every 3 months, it really isn't worth it. I'd suggest them if for casual wear but not workwear.

These run both big and small somehow. The waist runs small and the inseam runs long. I wish they could get consistent with their sizing, because these fit unlike any other dickies pants I have owned. I would not buy again.

I purchased these for my husband for Christmas and they seem to be missized. He wears 36 waist and these are so small in the waist and appear to be no more than a 32 waist. He can not get them anywhere close to fastening.
