I'm so pleased with these boots. They are very comforable right out of the box, and they're pretty cute for a hiking boot. However, my feet get a bit sweaty in them because of the waterproof materials, so I probably would wear these only in cool weather.

A wonderful boot- I wear them for up to 12 hours a day and love the lightweight yet substantial feel they have.

I bought these thinking, hey not my favorite colors but I really want a solid pair of hiking boots and my friend had a pair of Danners I liked. IDK if i dreamed it but I swear she had boots. These look like boots in the pictures but they're shoes. The way the leather meets the sole is also kind of weird. Unflattering especially on a curvy short leg. Returned these.

I thought they would be too tight at first as they look more narrow than the Danner's I bought previously. They actually fit better with very little "break in" time. I am on my feet all day and I'm grateful for these boots that are tough enough to hold up and comfortable enough that I'm not aching from head to toe when the day is done!
