High arch here. Plantar fasciitis-plagued. Chronic back issues too. OMG! These shoes are an answer to a prayer. Comfortable, support I need. I thought I was sentenced to wearing Brooks tennies for the rest of my life, including my nephews upcoming wedding. These shoes are trendy and stylish. Plus they have the ultimate in comfort (I did have to add my own "inserts" but that is a small price to pay. Thank you Danner!!!!

They were perfect for our treks through the Lake District of Chile and the mountains of Patagonia.

I currently own 4 pr of them & the oldest pr are shot !! Very comfortable shoes !!!!! The store were I ordered my 5th pr told me these shoes are being discontinued, I hate to see them go but all good things must come to an end …….

These are my first pair of Danner trail 2650’s , and they are so comfortable in the heel area I've never had any footwear feel like that before. Size is true which is good. They do run warm as they are the gore-tex version , I may even get the non gore-tex too.

The first time I ordered this shoe it was in a men’s size 10 D. It seem pretty narrow on my right foot. I returned my purchase and ordered the same shoe in a men’s size 10 EE. I know love this shoe. Fits good, feels good. My rating below reflect the fit and feel of the second pair of shoes.

Tongue tiny bit too long. Laces a bit too short. Great support and cushioning. Seems to be high quality and heavy duty. Very good looking. I’m happy.

I have a high arch and the shank is extra supportive for standing and walking.

Can’t recommend this shoe to others. Wore them one time and the fit isn’t right. The length is good but hurts on top of right foot. Doubt i’ll wear them again. Unfortunate

Same quality as my other 2650's but runs about 1/4 size bigger putting me between sizes and does not provide as good a fit for that reason. Don't know if that is quality control or color differential but these do not appear to be the same as my other Danner 2650's. Would like to see different color combinations and would ask Danner to start making the laces for this shoe available online as I like the shoe color but am not fond of the lace color.

Durable and comfortable. This Gortex (GTX) version of the 2650 tend to be warmer than the standard version and a little hot during summer days. My third pair - all still performing - of this model and I like the denim blue color best. Wish this color was available in non-GTX and women's versions of the 2650.

Hiked in the rain all day when i first got them. 6 miles on the Ice Age Trail and feet were dry from rain AND sweat! Seriously great shoe!

Solid hiking platform. Not as wide a toe box as I prefer or was led to believe from the description.

I just got these shoes and have been wearing them around the house before hitting the trail. Their construction is really good. Love the heavy soles and the balanced feeling. I have bad feet, need orthotics, the mens 9.5 ee is a PERFECT fit for me. I cannot wear any shoes made for women. I have seen other reviews that say these are too narrow, but for a heavyish woman who has wide feet and walks 15-20 miles a week, these are exactly right.

I’m a size 15 and it’s difficult to find a shoe that fits. The trail 2650 3” size 15 fits like a size 15. Other brands I have had to order, return and reorder a size bigger. Usually 15 is the max size offered. So having found a shoe that is made in a size 15 and fits like a 15 is great.

Feels ok but gets dirty easy and difficult to clean . .

Not only the best hiking shoes I’ve ever owned, but likely the best shoes I’ve ever owned. Perfect fit. Super comfortable. And the soles are second to none. Highly recommend.

Great walking shoes in this difficult time I am a senior that’s had hundreds of shoes in my life time these are as good as it gets.

I love these shoes. The only reason I didn’t rate them a 5 is pretty minor. For me they’re somewhat difficult to get on. How about a 4. 8? They are very solid. Great traction. I feel connected to the trail while hiking in these shoes. Rock hopping several small streams without a hint of wetness. And I did this hiking with these shoes right out of the box. Awesome. I carried an older pair just in case, but never gave them a second thought. Again I really love these shoes.

I was glad my order for EE width model for my D width feet was okay.

Comfortable enough shoe but after no more than ten five mile walks both shoes are separating from the soles at the heel. There is no other visible wear. I like my Danner Grouse (my favorite hunting boot by far over decades), Recurve, and Wildland Firefighter boots, but these Trail 2650 GTXs will get replaced with another brand.

Incredible shoes. I wear them everywhere. Perfect for travel.

Super comfy with soft a step, light weight, completely waterproof (had a full foot submersion in a muddy field, feet totally dry). Many negative reviews were regarding fit, which I was worried about too straight out of the box. But after minimal wear, it felt comfortably snug. My only negative was the heel of the sole started to peel back just after two months of normal street walking (hadn’t even hiked outdoors yet), but was able to swap for a brand new pair thanks to the warranty, no questions asked.

These shoes are great! No break-in time and they are immediately comfortable. I purchased these for trail hiking and to double as a mountain bike shoe, and both wear scenarios have not disappointed. I would highly recommend these shoes to anyone looking for a true-to size fitting, great looking, and comfortable trail shoe!

Bought the shoe for rainy weather. Like the leather upper and color. GTX was a plus for waterproof.
