The boots run narrow. I normally wear regular width boot but had to send the first pair back an order a Wide. When the new wide ones came in they fit fine. The boots do require a break in period of several days. Now the good news is they are lightweight easy to put on an have excellent traction. The boots have good flex in the toe as well. Still in the break in but so far so good.

Width runs a bit small, maybe consider going with a half size larger or a same size "Wide". A great boot overall though!

I've owned multiple Danner Tannicus boots over the years. My only complaint is the uppers separate at the mating seam by the pinky toe on every pair i've owned

Overall, this is my favorite boot. I like the way it looks and feels. My only complaint is that it doesn't seem to last very long working in lawn care. Within 6 months, the soles aren't what they use to be. The outside of the boot also doesn't age well. Do you have lightweight boot that is just as comfortable but holds up better/longer?

Fabric inside boot towards the front tends to irritate the top of the foot, it protrudes to far and creates a lip, but otherwise a great boot

I live in San Diego and make a living as a steel stud framer so I had tried plenty of boots in my career and these boots are solid straight out the box. Doesn't rain much here but when it does we work through it and so far the dry part has held up great. I walk through the puddles, sometimes pretty deep ones and don't worry about wet socks anymore. They are fine boots I have no complaints. I only wish they were made in this country instead of being outsourced I really really try whenever I can to avoid that. It is important to people

I have a narrow instep and searched several brands and this model was the narrowest I could find, but they still don’t fit correctly. They’re just ok. I would like to see a “narrow” option for a better fit but until then I will just have to lower my standards and accept “just ok”.

Half the weight of standard issue and twice the comfort! Should have bought them years ago.

I tried to give the Tanicus the benefit of the doubt with a third pair. Unfortunately the stitching just doesn’t hold up. again, another eight months in With blown out sides I guess I’ll be looking for a different bootmaker

Boots hurt my toes where the stitching is at and the ankle area also hurts. Can’t wear them two days straight...

Good, comfortable pair of boots! Just bought my second pair before heading back over for a third time. Only problem I have ever had with them is in the break-in period: the first of the metal loops from the bottom digs into my ankle. Problem solved by skipping that loop with the laces until break-in complete, then re-lace using every loop.

10 wide good fit, very solid build for the weight. Typical wear light to medium weight wool blend soxs. Good value.

The boot I order was an 11 EE and I normally wear a men’s medium or D width. Your boot was so narrow that I could not even get my foot in it. Very poorly sized. I have already returned it. This is really a shame as the Danner TFX boot I bought 3-4 years ago was an 11 D and was a perfect fit. Loved the boots. You should have never changed the design. Very disa.

Absolutely love this boot. My feet are very large and very tender. These boots feel wonderful right out of the box I recommend them to anyone.

Got these boots for 3 reasons: made in America, Danner reputation, dry material. Had these boots for 4 months now. Worn daily, broke in nicely. Then my feet began to sweat a LOT. Then had a 2 week field op, by the end of week one I couldn’t wear them anymore. My pinky toes were blistered, tops of my feet got rashes. It became unbearable to wear. I had my backup nike boots that I had to resort to. I didn’t want to buy Nike boots again, for obvious ethical and moral reasons, but it seems they’re the only boot that comfortably conform to my foot. I really wanted these Danner’s to work out.

I did a LOT of research before I pulled the trigger on these boots. Trust me when I say they are absolutely the most comfortable boots I have ever worn. Hands down. They are pretty true to size. If anything, they might run just a smidge small. I would/will definitely buy these again. Thanks Danner.

Great boots ,too narrow for his foot and ankle, couldn't get them on had to return

The boots are comfortable and they are lightweight. They are not hot boots either. The only problem is I ordered wide and they are not wide enough. The wide could be a little wider.

I'm a Construction Forman and I wanted to change to this style boot for a little more comfort. First impression was it was really comfy and supportive. 1 month in they broke in and feel too wide and my ankle doesn't have any support. But they are holding up really well and are very light. Word of advice is maybe size down? For reference I've worn Georga boots in 12 wide for a decade. Hopefully this helps someone?

I love this model boot..This is about my 5th pair..The first part to fail after heavy use is the stitching of the toecap near the small toe...I useally shoegoo that area in advance

These are by far the best military boots that I've ever owned. They took a while to break in, which was slightly painful but since I've made it past that point, everything has been perfect. They're comfortable, nice looking, and very sturdy. I completed a 18.6 ruck march in my last pair and I'm sure that I wouldn't have successfully completed the task without my Danners.

I bought these a few weeks ago. I think the description said for women to buy about a size smaller than normal and a lot of the reviews said to order 1/2 a size bigger because the boots are tight. The boots are definitely made snug but I ordered my regular size and didn't have any problems; they fit great. I also used the link near the top to help me pick the right size and the results were my normal so I went with that and it worked out.
