Boots wore out in the tow inside of 3 months wish someone made a boot for the hard working man

Very tight across the top initially but put some boot oil across the top and it loosened up. Very comfortable

Runs small, have another set of danner hiking/casual boots in 9. 5 ee and they fit great. These boots looked great but were waaaay tight. Returned for another size

When I first got the boots there was a flap of extra fabric folding over when I put my foot in and made it pretty uncomfortable, but I trimmed the extra pieces off and now my boots fit really well after wearing them in for a couple weeks. I love the style and they look great!

Ordered true size. The instep is tight around my foot. Rest of fit is fine.

I’ve worn Danners for over 25 years, and these are by far my favorite.

Boot is good quality for the price. But the shoe laces are extremely cheap n thin for a boot of this type.

3.5 out of 5 for comfort. The more I break them in the better. 5 out of 5 for style

The size is correct, they're just not very comfortable, they're similar to boots from 50 years back. I wanted the flat soles, wedge type soles for working around the ranch and not having lug toe soles caking with mud and horse manure. I also wanted short boots, they are. That is the only redeeming quality of these boots. I wouldn't recommend them.

I love Danner boots. Been buying them for years. Rainforest, Quarry, Patrol, Tachyon, and so forth. These Bull Run boots look great and are made well. Might be more comfortable with time, I hope. The laces dig in to my foot due to thin tongue. Might switch to leather laces to get a little more give. Full disclosure, I have bad feet. That being said, of all the models of Danner boots I have owned over the years, the Bull Run, is at the bottom of the list for out of the box comfort. Which sucks because they look great. The Rolling Stones said it best...

I would like to say I am extremely happy with these boots. I have had numerous pairs of work boots with many types of brands. These boots by far are the best boots I have ever owned. This is almost a week since I purchased them - They are slightly broken in- I would imagine next week they will be completely conformed to my foot. I was referred to this brand by my father a retired Law Enforcement officer- He swore by them. I am thankful Danner started a construction type boot. I must say I am 100 percent sold! They are strong, light, and nice looking. I can't wait to see how long they last. I must say my lower back an knees aren't as tired as they were with REDWING shoes. Only time will tell with the sole on these Danner's- I will say Redwing soles doesn't last for sure. Thank you Danner! One more thing There Made at home!!! So Important. Thanks Danner!!!!

Great boot, I'm very pleased. I normally wear a 10 or 10.5, ordered these in a 10 EE, width was perfect but they were too long, sent them back and got a 9.5 EE and they are perfect. Very well made. Break in was pretty fast and they are way more comfortable than I expected them to be. I would highly recommend these boots, they have quickly become my daily wearers.

Love the look of this boot. Great work boot. The fit was great. I order my regular shoe size and it was spot on. Well constructed boot.

I couldn't believe how cute they look especially with the burgundy laces everyone that I showed my boots just looked them, you must down size on the boot they do run a bit big, I worn them on a ride an they are very comfortable, I would buy another pair different color.

I ordered two pair of bull run moc toe boots in two different colors. I liked the appearance of both and had a hard time deciding which color was right for me. What made my decision more difficult with the inconsistencies in the boots. The color I like the least fit my foot much better, but was clearly made of much thinner leather. The boot I liked the most was a much bigger boot, even though it was the same size. The boot was 1/4 wider overall, much roomier inside (too big), but was clearly made of better, thicker leather. I understand the idea of “handmade boots” but with they were more consistent.

Take awhile to break in, but once your there it’s like putting on your boost comfortable sneakers.

Would give 5 star but the left boots tongue does not lay flat when laced up it has a little fold in it witch drives me crazy

They fit like a glove, very little break in time. Inserts are comfortable and great support. Look great and lots of compliments.

I’ve worn Red Wing boots for 50+years. I started wearing the Danner Bull Run boot several years ago. I find them more comfortable and I feel the sole wears better. A great boot!

I’ve worn them around a dozen times, various chores, weed whacking, cutting wood etc. pretty happy with them. Almost seems like they have a 15 minute warm up period every time I put them on. Then they’re fine. I would definitely buy them again, but I’m hoping I won’t have to.

What a great discovery! I have been a masonry contractor for 32 years..these boots are the best I have ever wore..I actually look forward to putting them on in the morning..a new devoted customer here

Had these boots for only 4 months and the stitching is completely gone from the toe stitching. According to danners “warranty” any stitching problems aren’t covered.
