Sole not comfortable, can’t wait to wear them out to move on to a different brand. Adding to this review about a month later, I wish I could return return these boots, Rubber sole pieces have came off, already I cut in my leather toe. So uncomfortable, Also not waterproof. Cant wait to throw them away.

I’ve had these boots for about 2 weeks so I can’t give them a full review. Let’s start with what I know. These are some really sharp looking boots!!! The Goodyear welt seems solid, and if my leather still looks good I’d get them resoled once necessary. I do general contract work so a little bit of everything happens in my work boots. I went from Carolina loggers (lasted 2 years+) to these. First time trying the Cody James brand and so far I’m impressed. They came darker than expected from the picture which doesn’t bother me at all. The line that goes from ankle to halfway down the foot is for bending and crouching adds some extra “give” to the boot and I think that design nails it. Overall, stylish, comfortable, seems durable so far, and they clean up nice with a horse hair brush and some leather conditioner. Will be buying another pair if needed.
