Boot is well constructed and good quality, I get compliments all the time. They're light weight, I can wear them all day with comfort. They run a bit large with the wide square toe, wish I'd bought a size smaller but thick socks almost fixed the whole problem.

I got these boots for my boyfriend for Christmas and he loves them! He says they are comfortable and wears them as often as he can.

Boot was well made. Liked the look. But too small. Unable to put the boot on 12EE. Fit more like a 11.

My boots arrived very quickly. The fit of these boots are absolutely incredible. Normally when I buy boots, I have to wear them a couple times to break them in and I was able to wear these boots one time and it felt like I’ve had them for years I absolutely love the boots and have gotten numerous compliments on them.

First, the design is something to look at. Tough from the bottom up. I'm not afraid to wear these anyplace. The upper lends to more of the same with a bit softer feel less needed to be broken in and ready to kick back anyplace. I only wish I could show off the unbelievable stitching on the upper .I have always covered them with my pant legs. I do not want to short the toe's as they are the first squared off tips I have bought. I have worn packers and ropers most my life and wide square Cody James were unknown to me. This is the fourth pair of Cody James boots I have purchased. I had read that Cody James boots were made in China and had avoided ordering them because of that. However, I was at a Boot Barn store and took a look at a some and learned that they were made in Mexico, which has a long tradition of quality cowboy boots. The boots I looked at were priced at $199 to $249. Their lower priced boots may be made in China but I'm not sure. I ended up purchasing two pairs at the Boot Barn and have since ordered two more pairs online. All have been made in Mexico and are traditionally made, with leather lining, leather insoles, and leather outsoles. These particular boots have a comfortable walking heel, dark brown leather for the foot portion, and black leather for the shaft. The shaft has attractive stitching and is quite soft and comfortable. If like me, you love traditionally made boots, I can highly recommend Cody James.
