Way small. I feel like I need to order several sizes up. But I’m just gonna have to drive way down to the boot barn store, and actually try them on. I ordered 33. Waist. Which is what I always buy. And I fit in them in every single brand. But but for some reason in these man, they don’t barely come up over my knees.

Good product but runs very small. 36" waist is really a 32"-33". Have to re-order 38" waist to get a 34" fit.

Slacks ordered with jacket fabric great and matches the circle S jacket nicely ordered for wedding looking sharp. Slacks run two sizes too small order up two sizes for proper fit.

This style dress pants needs to be ordered in larger waist than other Shepler pants and jeans. My "no" in recommending this product is for failure to make that suggestsion in describing the product. Still trying to decide whether to return.

Love the detail work and quality of these pants. After reading other comments I ordered them two sizes larger than my blue jeans and they fit very well. Very happy with the product and Sheplers’ service!

Fabric did not match Tux jacket fabric, size was very small compared to my other jeans for example.

I ordered size 36 waist and these seemed like a size 32

I bought two pair of size 32; the fit of both is close to size 30 in other brands I own. I notice others, here, have the same concern. I like the cut and style of these slacks, and that they come unhemmed, but note that they’re Tuxedo Slacks so the front pockets are positioned farther forward, and open more horizontally, than on other slacks or Levis. I’ve yet to wear these slacks so I can’t comment on their durability. I give them three stars for how sharp they look.

Sizing is hard to figure. I'm a size 36. The 36 I ordered felt like a 32. No way could I fasten it. To make sure I wasn't crazy I checked my closet. All my slacks were 36 and one was 34. I looked inside the slacks I just ordered; yep, they were a 36. Ok, they must run small. I went to a local Sheplers. No size 38 there so I tried a 40. Way too big so I ordered a 38. The 38 came. It was better than the 36, but still too small. Very strange. The pants match my tux jacket perfectly so I'll be on a major diet to get into my 38's before my wedding date of May 21!

Like the pants very much. But order a size larger. If you are a 36" waist do not hesitate to order pants in a 38" waist. This is the only 38" waist I own.

The pants are designed well and fit well.  I would prefer 100% wool, for a higher price.  I do not like polyester, period!

Pants were not as described in the online advertisement. The description stated wool polyester blend. When I got the pants they were rayon polyester. Junk.

These slacks are OK, but I found the Circle S Stretch Slacks to be superior in terms of material quality and appearance. The latter have more body and a better western look than the Tuxedo Slacks in my opinion.

Well made and perfect style for matching with a coat and boots for a formal or semi formal occasion. They run about a full size small as least. I wear 36, ordered 38, and they were still a little snug.

Great pants. I just replaced them as I grew out of the first pair.

Quality, color and material are identical to the Jacket but these run small. I had to return, which was easy at the store and I picked up a pair of black jeans.

I had no problems ordering and they were shipped in a timely manor. I am happy with how they fit and feel.

My boyfriend ordered these pants to go with the Circle S Mens Lubbock Suit Coat and they look like they were bought together. We had the matching pants picked out in the cart at first but the image of them in black kept scaring us.....they looked shiny and we weren't sure what that was going to mean. So I opted for these "tuxedo pants" but I was so glad they didn't have a tux ribbon going down the leg. They are so well made. They do come surged on the bottom but no hem which worked great for us. My BF is 6'3 and wears a 30x38 in Wranglers. He wore his black boots on the tailor block with these pants and only had to have them taken up an inch or so. They do run small though and once we read the reviews, we decided to order him a 33 and they fit perfect. The belt loops are nice looking and fit a basic sized belt (I think he got a Tony Lama black dress belt). They fit great in the bum and front area because of the cut. They look expensive and the material matches the coat. Such a good looking outfit! He says they feel great. :)

These pants are too small, like two sizes too small. By the time you send them back, you’ll only get like half your money back because you have to pay a restocking fee in addition to postage if you can’t print out a stupid label.

These pants fit smaller than you would expect. I would normally wear a 33" waist in jeans and I needed 36" for these pants. Once that was sorted the fit was great.

These slacks are just what I wanted. I have bought these before and had very good wear out of them. The only reason that I bought these was because I had to get a different size, you up.

When I saw these when they came in, I was very happy.

The slacks are nice but wish you could order a length instead of trying to find someone to hem them. That's such a hassle in a small town. May not be able to even give them for the gift

Bought a pair of 36" waist and there was no way I was fitting in them. Took them to the Taylor to take them out and he measured them and told me they were 34". Tried to get a pair of 38" but they were out. So I was stuck with size 40"! When I took those to the tailor they measured at 38". So, order a size up for sure! They are a lot cheaper looking than I anticipated, but I have no other alternatives now as I need them for this upcoming weekend.

The slacks matched the jacket nicely. The fit was excellent.

The waist size reads 36" but actually is 32" so i can't use them. Unfortunately i threw the tag away. BEWARE.

I had to return the item because of my mistake in ordering the wrong size. So I really can't answer a lot of the questions below.

Bought for a wedding-looked good perfect fit-order a size larger and it will work fine.

These pants aren't even close to being the correct size. I typically wear 42 or 44 waist. I ordered both sizes to be sure. Even the 44's are about 2 sizes small. Quality is good but they run EXTREMELY small.

I had ordered this pants to coordinate with a tuxedo jacket that I had bought previously. The pants was a good fit both in the waist and inseam length. Now I can look good on my next cruise.

I bought these pants to go with my tux jacket To wear on a cruise. I ordered size 36 and they were closer to a 34. Very disappointed

Great quality. Waist size runs 2-3 inches smaller than my normal waist size. I reordered a pair that is 2-inches larger. Hope that does tge trick!

material is thin, no linning, fit is very small( buy 2 sizes bigger)

The waist size is a least 2 sizes smaller than stated...and the leg and butt sizes are out of proportion to the waist...too large and blousy...don't waste your time with these...plus you have to pay Sheplers return freight cost to send back something that will never fit!

When I tried on the slacks they were very tight in the waist. Because I didn't want the turn-around time of sending them back, I took them to a tailor. It turns out the nominally 34 waist was actually between 32 and 33. When they were altered I was able to wear them comfortably. Unfortunately after one wearing I noticed the outer side seams were straining and the fabric was beginning to tear at the stitching. It looks to me like the fabric is way too light. I like the style but I consider the pants unusable because of the shoddy material. Once bitten, twice shy.

Well made. They do run small. I wear 36 waist in everything their 38 fit me perfectly

I loved the pants but had to send them back and order them two sizes larger (waist). All other brands fit me perfectly in the size I ordered but they are worth it now that I know to do this.

A Quality product. I bought this plus the Tuxedo coat, Tuxedo Shirt, Tie, Belt, and a new pair of Dan post "Python Skin" boots (through Sheplers). Everything is excellent but I should have paid attention to the other reviews about the slacks waist size being too small ! I ordered 34 inch waist (that is my size) and no way did they fit, not even close! So I went back on-line and ordered a size 36 and they fit perfect. I'm stuck with the 34 inch slacks now because being in poor health due to Agent Orange medical problems from Vietnam it is too way much trouble for me to send them back for a refund ! Oh well live and learn I guess.

Thanks to a previous reviewer, I took the advise of ordering two sizes about my size and they fit snuggly. If I had ordered my size, these pants would have been too small / tight, would never have been able to get into them.

Quality has dropped for Circle S. Scratchy fabric. Sizing is ridiculously off. I bought 2 pair and both were wrong.

I bought these slacks for my tuxedo fit great. The only thing is u have to buy a bigger size i wear a size 34 and had to buy a 36.
