13 4E was NARROWER than my Redwing 13EE. The quality is great, the construction seems solid at first blush, but the sizing is definitely off. After comparing multiple pairs of these boots in 12 4E, 13 4E, and 14 4E I can say with confidence that they are not even close to a true 4E in width.

Solid buy with quality you would expect from Carolinas

These boots are the most comfortable work boots I have had in years. I'm now a Carolina boot fan.

I had to return these because they were too narrow. Usually a 14EEE is wide enough for me. I was disappointed that they didnt fit because they really are a beautiful, and are built well too.

These boots are very comfortable and durable , my old pair are three years old and still in decent shape. Highly recommended

I bought these for my husband who is a farm equipment technician and is so rough on his feet. I saw these in a youtube review and had to snag them. My husband LOVES these, says they are comfortable, fit perfect/ true to size. The ankles are super supported which is a plus for him.

Great boot! Takes a bit to break in, but otherwise comfortable. Wish the inner soles were a bit more comfortable, but you’ll get used to that. Repeats water well.

Boots are long lasting in beginning rough on right foot on pinky toe once broken in they last till sole falls off

Roomy in the toe added an extra insole and they fit great. Could use a bigger shoelace hole at the top for a loggers knot, but other than that love the look and protection of the boot. Feel really confident on the jobsite!

Nice boots! About a week to break in, but not bad to begin with. Sizing runs slightly on the small side, would try go up half a size next time.

Keep feet dry and shoes are light weight. Wore them all day while working and feet were comfortable. Boots are snug one my feet which kept my feet from sliding around inside the boot. Good value for the price and I will definitely be making another purchase.

Great boots! Only wore a week so far, but the feel comfortable and durable. Time will tell if that last.

The most comfortable work boots I have had yet and I’ve had many different brands. Have to get back with ya on the durability but after a month they seem to be holding up good. The regular with is still pretty wide with a lot of room in the toe box.

These are good boots. I work outside year round and managed to make a pair last 3yrs in all types of terrain as well as climbing poles and ladders for utility work. They are a little warm in summer weather but worth it for comfort and durability.

Son loves them. Wears them to auto body collision repair shop everyday.

My third pair of this style of Carolina. They fit well and are comfortable, it is hard to find a good boot in 4E.

I warrantied two sets before I was even out of the store. Then had to bring in a third set that came unglued. So went to the boots that last cats. The ladies that work there are great.

These are the best boots I've ever had, im on my second pair. They look good, are comfortable with only a couple day break-in, lace nicely. The laces are nice and sturdy without feeling like they're made of flexible wire like some laces. Got a good tread pattern with good grip. Waterproof. Overall a fantastic pair of boots.

I have ordered these boots for the past 5 years. Each pair is slightly smaller as time goes on. The most recent pair is a half inch shorter and a quarter inch narrower than the ones they are replacing. Good boot. But it's annoying when they change the size of the boot and don't tell you. 14 4E

My husband has really wide feet and any shoe purchasing is always difficult. I'm always skeptical of them fitting him. We were pleasantly surprised that these fit. They did take a day or two of wearing to break in, but i feel thats normal with any leather footwear. They seem to be holding up for the two weeks that he's had them. I hope they last a while.

The boots are incredibly comfy, they break in nice and easy, the waterproofing I find to be exceptional. The only boots I wear, I wore them when I was in sanitation, and I wear them now running tri-axle dump trucks on construction sites.

We ordered a 13 4E and it is not the right size. It is too tight on his feet. The tag says the right size but when we hold it up yo his current boot...same make and model and size. The new one is extremely narrow in comparison.

Boots seem to run larger than size ordered. Lower heel is going to take getting used too, won’t be ordering these again.

For afew years now I’ve bought these boots and never had issues with breaking them in till now. Even after weeks of wearing them I’ve had to stop because I keep getting bad blisters on my heels.

Excellent boots. Minimal breaking in time needed. They don't flex really, which is good for me standing on ladders for extended time and great for shoveling. Very pleased with purchase.

This is solely an out of the box review as I have only had them for a couple weeks. They are handsome boots by all standards. Good leather. Good cushioning. Best laces I have ever had on a pair of boots. Comfortable right away and broke in mighty fast. Seem to be holding up to water so far. I work in a limestone quarry so my footwear is truly put to the test. Get back to me in a few months and I'll let you know how they hold up.

Having wide feet I need a boot that will not squeeze my feet and give me the room in the toe so that I don’t feel the steel toe cap rubbing on my toes as well. This 4E boots gives me the comfort I need while standing on my feet all day. The fit is perfect In every way. I highly recommend this boot if you have a wide foot and are looking for complete comfort.

wish the top eyelet was a hook....but that is a small issue that i can live with
