So happy to finally find a carhartt jacket with long enough sleeves! I’m 5’7”, 130lbs, and for most jackets I have to wear a size large to get sleeves that cover my wrists (or don’t expose half my forearm when raising my arms in front of my torso, like I do all day long at work). I’m giving this 4 stars because of the lack of color options and the thin liner. The carhartt brown color with the white colored liner is just not an option for a real work jacket. Seriously, it would get filthy in about a week at my job. As for the thin liner, it would be great if carhartt would use a rating system to indicate the warmth level for each jacket. My husband has a very similar jacket in mens and it’s much warmer (lining seems to be thicker).

The jacket is very warm and fits well. The star reduction comes from the color, which is nowhere near a taupe gray; it's more like a purple-brown.

Ordered a large, wanted to make sure I had room to wear sweatshirts underneath. It is still a bit big, but absolutely love it.

I love this! I have a great amount of movement in the arms, where a lot of other coats make me feel confined. I've gotten many compliments, especially one the color!

Love this jacket; it’s very warm and has several pockets. The front zip pocket is big enough to hold my iPhone or a pair of sunglasses and can still be zipped shut. I’m 5’5”, 120lbs and the extra small fit perfect with enough room for a mid weight sweater underneath. Highly recommended!

Love this Jacket! SO warm and comfortable!

I returned mine because I accidentally ordered a size too small, but chose not to reorder in the correct size because i could not stand the fabric they lined the external pockets with. It is a thin microfiber type that feels extremely uncomfortable on dry hands, snags your skin, and if you're wearing this jacket, chances are you're hands are dry from cold and/ or working. I ordered a different carhartt with the same stupid lining and cut it out. Horrible choice, stick to canvas. Otherwise a nice jacket.

This jacket is warm and comfortable. Perfect winter jacket to walk in the woods or around town in.

The purple almost looks chocolate brown. the other coat she has is the same size and this one seems a little smaller.

My mom and dad bought me three coats this winter season- one of them my Carhartt. It’s my favorite of the three! I like that the coat is roomy enough to layer, and when my dog wears her Carhartt we “match” when we go for our walks.

My wife loves the way it fits and how comfortable the jacket is. It’s her first Carhartt jacket.

This jacket is incredibly comfortable and warm! I ordered a size up and it leaves the perfect amount of room to throw a sweatshirt underneath it for the super cold Northern winters! Bought another just like it in store for my sister for Christmas!

I’ve worn this coat almost every day since I got it over 3 weeks ago! It’s warm and cozy, but still durable enough that I know I can wear it shoveling snow or snowshoeing or ice fishing. I love that it has a hood and fleecy sherpa type lining in the hood and torso. My favorite part is that the sleeves aren’t fleecy though - they’re lined with a slippery quilted fabric that makes it very easy to slide your arms in, without your long shirt sleeves bunching up uncomfortably around your elbows! I’m not giving it all five stars though, and that’s because of two things I don’t like: one, the zipper teeth are metal and rather sharp, and when unzipped the teeth have caught on my nice sweaters a couple times already, pulling threads out; and two, the front pocket linings are not secured into the coat, so every time I pull something out of a front pocket, the entire lining comes out too and is flopping around inside out, outside of the coat.

The coat is surprisingly soft. It is true to size for me. Carhartt products never disappoint. Shipping was about a week slower than the website promised. I could understand if it were the carrier's fault, but my coat didn't even leave the Carhartt.com facility for a full four days after my order.

I love it! I seized up so I could wear over my bibs and layers and I would of been fine to get my normal size or if I got it for everyday wear I would of sizes down!

I love this coat! It's pretty warm and is the best fitting jacket I've ever owned. I'm 5'2" and about 120-125lbs. There is still a little room to layer but isnt too long or anything. Super soft inside too

I was debating on getting the xs or small. I was afraid the xs was going to be too small and I really wanted to be able to wear sweatshirts underneath. But I got the xs anyway and it fits jsut like a I wanted it to. Theres enough room for a sweatshirts, its not to big or to small I am in love with it. So I would size down. I am 5'0 and 108lbs

I bought this as a birthday gift for our daughter. I’m so happy I did! She loves it!! The fir is perfect (xs- she’s 13- about 100 lbs and 5’3”) The quality is great too!

Absolutely worth it, it’s keeps me to warm and it keeps out the cold chill. I also love the hidden pockets on the inside that hold my phone. Plus it has held up very well from the wear and tare of my job.
