Perfect raincoat.

Far and away one of the all around best foul weather jackets I own. Works well in most temps if you layer correctly and need flexibility. the ONLY reason this jacket is not an "10" is because of the hood- There needs to be a way to roll and tuck it and it s also a tad too large-out of proportion to the jacket itself.

I LOVE IT ! IT IS SO PRACTABLE ,CONFORT AND APPERANCE. THE RAIN SEASON IS HERE AND I CAN GO OUT AFTER FIRE WOOD AND STAY DRY AND WARM. THE STYLE IS VERY RED-NECK, A BIG PLUS WITH ME. IT EVEN LOOKS GOOD HANGING BY THE DOOR OF MY MAN CAVE. MY ONLY COMPLAINT IS THE SNAPS ARE SO STIFF FOR MY 73 YEAR OLD FINGERS. HOPEFULLY THEY WILL LOOSEN WITH USE. I HIGHLY RECOMEND THE JACKET.

Runs a little larger, Ordered Medium, have 41 chest x 34 waist, with little( :-)) bulge in the mid-section, (perhaps I lost a some weight with all the extraneous hiking I've been doing the last couple of months). The material and build quality I am totally impressed. Highly recommended. (Spent a couple of grand on Carhartt apparels to date and and have no complaint so far.).

I own two of these jackets now (black, navy). I have put over 10-years of hard use on the black one. No rips, tears, or fading. I work outside in Michigan and simply use under layers when I use it in the winter. Its great for spring, fall, and winter. Amazing jacket!

Runs true to size, all the while is a little large around the torso, which makes it easy to move around or layer. Bought this jacket for field work in the Alaskan rainforest. It's definitely heavier and less compressible (for packing) than a backpacking/hiking rain jacket, but WAY more durable, tear resistant, etc.

I don't like it. I have a Carhart waterproof coat I have had for about 10 years that I love but it is worn out and no longer water proof. I thought this 1 was just like it when I ordered it but it is much lighter and only goes to my waist not below my booty like my old 1. I will keep looking.

Felt satisfactory, but fit like a balloon at the waist. Returned immediately after delivery.

bought this for my boyfriend. hes 5'11 and 160 lbs... we got a large and he could have used a medium. however we love this jacket. Not too light but not too heavy, warm and very fashionable!

This was the second jacket we bought for my husband for Fathers Day. The first was the yellow rain slicker and I bought it thinking it was more like my very old favorite Carhartt jacket. It turned out to not be the jacket he wanted. I ordered the Shoreline to replace it and it is EXACTLY the jacket he wanted for Fathers Day. The confusion is that my jacket IS yellow but has similar material to the Shoreline. I just looked for yellow. My mistake since my jacket is so old you can't read the material listingg. Thanks Carhartt !! Perfect gift found !!!

Bought for my little brother as a Christmas present. He and his girlfriend loved it. Tough enough for him and can be layered up to increase the warmth. He says it is crazy waterproof and that water and wind resistance helps to cut the cold. Perfect for the unpredictable Michigan winter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this jacket in black for my man and he loved it. It fits so good on him except for the Velcro on the wrist. It’s supposed to be adjustable but it doesn’t adjust very much because the Velcro strap is only between 1 and 2 inches long. I do love that it has 5 pockets: two hand pockets, a pocket over the left chest area, and two interior pockets on each front side. All in all it’s a great jacket and we love the brand.

We have 11 of these jackets in service in Western NY, North Central PA and Southern Indiana. All users report that they are good to about 35 degrees, if you wear a sweatshirt underneath. They are great raincoats, as labeled, but definitely not a below freezing coat.

It looks like the company let a goofy designer loose on the sleeves, which hang down at the end... The logo is not black and white anymore. The collar has a flap that is a color that does not go with the red pull strings. Overall I am not happy with all the changes. Should have left a good thing alone !!!

My husband loves it. He works outside most of the day. All kinds of weather in Connecticut. A nursery man. Ordered one size up to accommodate an extra layer in cold. Looks really good on him.

Best rain jacket I have ever had, I live in the Pacific Northwest it rains all the time. Bought this jacket mostly for style but turned out to be the most comfortable and perfect for layering with sweat shirt under and loose enough not to hinder movements

This is my second shoreline jacket in 15 years. I needed to replace the first one as it mistakenly got washed wrong. This is an excellent jacket though I liked the color (forest green) and styling of the first one better.

Very seldom is the product better than you anticipate. This is the case with the Shoreline Waterproof Breathable Jacket. The quality is noticeable as soon as you feel it. Its design is smart and and practical for wet stormy days on the boat. Highly recommended...
