I've gone through many different kinds of steel toes, but these by far are the best. They're very comfortable and the insoles have incredible arch support. My feet didn't hurt breaking these boots in for the first few times I wore them. The outer material around the toe is very durable, it dosent just scrape off or chip every time something hits or falls on it. The waterproof feature is my favorite and it keeps your feet dry all day if you're in the rain. I would absolutely recommend these boots.

I'm sorry to say these are the most uncomfortable boots I have ever owned. The insert was removed after the first work day with these boots, my legs and lower back were on fire. The insert is just hard rubber, or so it feels. Threw in some heavy duty dr Scholls and a huge difference. Still they feel like your walking barefoot on concrete. Long break in, almost indefinitely long. Still feeling stiff and restricted, uncomfortable. Not to mention the tounge design is horrific. Extra stichting rubs your foot leaving it raw and painfull, especially on your ankles. It's always shifting side to side no matter how tight you make them, which you can't cause the shoelaces are so thin, you hurt your finger pulling fine stringlike laces. Im not a wide toe in any other boot or shoe, and yet these are stupid tight around my foot. Definitely get a wide toe if you still wanna try these boots. For me this is just not acceptable in the slightest for a huge brand like carhartt.

Had to go half a size down (from a 10W to a 9.5W) but they feel good. Sole feels a little hard but am putting in PowerStep ProTech Insoles. Will update how they hold up after six months.

My husband is a 15w and it's been extremely difficult finding comfortable work boots. These boots have made him so happy and he's not in pain anymore.

Purchased these boots for casual outings. They look fantastic and have already recieved several compliments. Took a few days to break in a little and now they feel great. Overall they seem like a durable, high quality boot that will last a good while.

I am on my feet for 10 hours a day as a bricklayer and bought my first set back in January. Comfortable boot but front stitching broke loose after 3 months. Figured maybe something I did caused this. Ordered the exact same boot in April and this time the sole completely wore away by the end of August. The crazy part is I’ve been working in a high reach for the last two months. Really disappointed in my experiences with these boots. Been a customer for years but enough is enough.

All these reviews for these boots can't be real. I bought these boots a week before thanksgiving and it's now early Feb. The bottoms are almlst completely worn out, the white one the base is cracking, 2 of the high lace wraps have broken to the stubs, the padding insole is uncomfortable and finally my little toes run up against the steel in the steel toe making it raw. I walk all day on finished concrete, nothing too rough at all. I expected a lot more from carhartt, but their boots are garbage. They aren't even truly made by carhartt, just FOR carhartt.

The Boots are of very nice quality. I haven't had any complaints with them. The waterproofing is super nice but they get very humid if worn on a warmer day.

I give these boots at 10/10. Very little break in needed, comfortable right out of the box. The leather is rugged and looks good as new with a quick wipe down or brushing. These are great in the garden, yard, or on a hike. I am very pleased. They look great with my Carhartt pants and shirts.

I bought a pair and loved them but after about 2 weeks i thought a mouse or cat peed in my boots. i sprayed white vinegar and they still smelled horrible like Pee. i then bought another brand. Problem Solved. My co-worker has now the same problem after buying these exact boots! Would never recommend them.

My first pair lasted 4 hard years, until the steell toe just fell out on a job leaving my feat exposed. I never laughed so hard! I bought the 1st pair because the felt GREAT when tried them on. They are soft from day one and need no "break in" time like others. I.plan to wear them until the toes fall off!

Best boot for a working man PERIOD.

These boots were the most comfortable boot i ever bought in my 23yrs of construction. Literally felt like I was walking on clouds of cotton right out the box. The leather upper held up good the soles wore down first.

Worth the money, for me they lasted little over than a year but I work 12 hour shifts between 40-60 hrs a week in a recycling plant in AZ and we are exposed to kinda harsh conditions daily (dry/dusty areas and wet areas with puddles too), not too mention the +100 degree summer temps we get so they worked fine for me. I tried different good/expensive brands of work boots and most of them last me around the same time because of my work conditions and demand so I decide to get carhartt by choice I like the brand and styles.

I bought these boots after my brother had them for 3 months and another co worker and good friend also bought them. These are classic carpenter boots. A bite pricey but not bad for what you get. These boots shine in all day use. We work 12 plus hours a day Atleast once a week and my feet never hurt, also the break in period is like a day or two (amazing). My last three pairs of boots were red wings and they wear better then these boots but the comfort is not even comparable. I don’t believe these boots will last as long as my redwings have, I’m guessing by the four months I’ve had them that they will last a year. But I will be buying another pair because they are very easy to wear all day and look great doing it. Change the laces to a slicker not so stiff string and you’ll have a much easier time putting them on

Comfortable out of the box, relatively lightweight and supportive. Boots are also waterproof. Good looking will hold up well for years with proper leather care. Boots do run a bit large.

This is my second review because my first one was never posted. I bought a pair of these in January 2020. I am a bricklayer and am on my feet minimum 10 hour workdays. By March the tread on the sole was worn all the way down and the stitching on the toe came undone. Caulked it up to a possible flaw. Ordered another pair online and have the same exact issue. This time I put tuff toe on the boots which works great but tread on the soles already gone. Don’t waste your money on these. Extremely disappointed with this product.

They run very big gave me blisters after just one day couldn’t use them more than just one day they don’t have 12 1/2 available so I got 13 and they were huge really disappointed
