I work in retail stocking shelves and I have to get on my knees a lot due to items falling on floor and sometimes rolling under shelves. I love these jeans because they offer some padding for the knees from the thick material and they don't wear out like other pants. These are made for work and make my work experience much more enjoyable and productive.

I'm sorry, but I am pretty unhappy with Carhartt these days. The jeans I bought are simply not real work jeans (well, maybe for an office job). Why can't I get the robust heavy-fabric pants that I bought in the past? These are simply NOT rugged. The local workwear store stocks jeans with waist sizes much larger than inseam, I have just the opposite proportions. The company store I used to go to is now empty, so I buy over the web and now have six pairs of pants that are great for going to the movie theater in, but none that are up protecting me while I am cutting down blackberries.

My 19 year old son works as a welder. These are his favorite jeans for work. So durable. Highly recommend.

I didn’t realize the legs were tapered I hate that. I like loose legs I assumed it would be that way because of the relaxed fit? I wore them on one hunt and they already have snags in the fabric. How is this the most durable?

Bought the wrong size but went with it anyway. Can't complain, great pants

I'm a union cement finisher and these are awesome. The knee pads are extra support and the double lined is double protection from blowing the knees out

I bought several pair of the "new" work pant that replaced the old tried and true double front work pant. Fit is ok as it's different from pair to pair. I first noticed that the material is much lighter than the old style. At work they ripped very easily and Frey after that. Rear pockets are treading off 3 pair and they aren't even faded or stained yet?. Clearly the new pant is not for the working man but for a guy that wants to look like he is working. Maybe I'll try the logger pant.

I work in a shipyard and bought these because of the double front. I was worried about them being flex jeans since most flex style jeans are hot and sticky when your legs are covered in sweat but these are perfect. None of the cons I’ve had in the past with flex jeans and since they are so comfortable, I ordered another 3 pair!

My husband's favorite jeans. He wears these day in and day out everyday. He is a logger and they are put through the test. They last great, look great, and are comfortable. He loves them and they're all I'll buy for him.

Fit is good and best of all my husband loves them.

I wear these every day. The knee pads save my knees when kneeling at work. Only work pants I'll buy.

I would not recommend them. The legs are too tight. The waist is too short. Not enough room from waist to crotch. The material too thin. Having hard time finding the regular ones. What good is double front if the material is not strong like the duck. Carpenters are not hipsters.

Use these as jeans worn under coveralls while working as a diesel mechanic. I also have the matching knee pads installed. I forget I even have the pads in them till I'm on my knees and then I find they are positioned right where they need to be (unlike other brands that I have to constantly adjust the pads in). Overall, really happy and will definitely buy again.

These pants are made with the highest quality but the legs fit too tight and makes them less than great work pants because the fit limits mobility. In case you are wondering I am not even the slightest overweight.

I bought these because I really like the double front jeans but wanted a little stretch. These feel like they are way too small in the legs to the point I have a hard time getting them over my boots. Unfortunately, I took the tags off and washed them before I put them on so I’m stuck with a pair I won’t wear. Looks like these will be donated.

I've been loyal to Carhartt for years. Their double knee work pants were the best, longest lasting pants on the market. I recently bought three pair of the new double knee jeans from a Carhartt outlet store. They didnt have my size in stock so they mailed them to me. These pants are a joke. The materal is so thin and the legs are way to skinny. Not what i want from Carhartt

I matched the size on the Carhartt pants I currently own. I have 4 pairs of the thicker double knee kind. Of course the size of the pants shrink as you wash to a nice fit. I found restricted in them like I couldn't move exactly in the way I wanted to for the situation. These Rugged Flex ones I have found to be incredibly flexible as it moves with me not against me. I have yet to test them out in the field. 4 star for that reason. They are so nice looking and comfortable feeling. Id wear them on a night on the town. One concern Is the waist to inseam run a bit longer (plenty of room for the tender bits though). So how I like to wear pants on the waist will have to be adjusted to you (either pulled up/fold waist). Not adjusted, I don't have the restriction like other pants would have with this problem. Do to the great flexibility.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Two thumbs up! Extra belt loops around back keep things where they belong. Pockets are deep & roomy, even the leg pockets. With the knee pads inserted (sold separately), getting on the ground is easier than ever. The look is just as depicted. Your legs WILL sweat behind the knee pads, though. I ordered my correct size, but still will need them hemmed. They’re longer than advertised. And they shed quite a bit of blue coloring- the back of my leather pouch is now blue.

I wouldn’t consider myself extremely over weight but these pants are still really tight

Nice material and good construction. The fit is more restrictive than I wanted for the job site, but they will be great off the job. I guess I need to stick with loose original fit on the job. These would have been great for me 40 years ago. Work never ends and Carhartts never quit.

Bought these when the original double front B73-DST Were discontinued. I was very disappointed thinking that the flex fit would be just as good. trying on at the store they fit very nice and were comfortable. after washing, following tag instructions The legs shrunk and it's like the material is elastic and sticks to you while trying to work. By the end of the day I couldn't wait to get rid of these. I wish they would bring the original double front denim back.

Love these jeans. Pockets galore for money clip and phone. And- IT'S DENIM. Perfect!

Incredibly comfortable for southern winters and make kneeling work easier on the knees. Only complaint is that the double utility pocket on the right leg would be better off as two full pockets rather than one pocket with the angled tall piece as a divider at only the top half.

Like that my cell phone will fit on either side leg pocket. Do not like that the waist band always stretches. Jeans start out the day with a snug fitting waste, by days end I am having to hold onto my pants with one hand because they wont stay up. Stretchable fabric should NEVER be used on the waste line. Not even slightly stretchy! Nice pants otherwise.

If your referencing the ones I bought on line. I will never buy them again. Washed and wore them once. They have two holes in them already. Cheap material and very dissatisfied. Why did you guys get away from model # 103887? We’re they lasting to long and Carhartt was not making enough profits. Several people I work with purchased those specific jeans. You are loosing customers as they are going to different brands to find a better quality double front Jean. I hope this write up doesn’t get thrown in the round file and actually means something to the company, I have purchased carhartt jeans for 20 plus years and I HAVE been very satisfied until late.

I just received these direct from Carhartt, I'm not even going to try these on. It seems post Covid all the Carhartt bottoms have dropped off. I wore B07s for years. They were a super heavy duty work pants and the double layer protected my knees at work when I would accidentally kneel on small items or gravel. I had a work injury and had to start wearing bibs, so I switched to R08s, also a great product. both products have been discontinued? I'm 60 years old but i cannot imagine these jeans lasting a month

First off, I used to purchase the old B07 loggers for years but i quit and switched because i was sick of the baggy loose fit. They were durable but I felt like I was hauling around so much extra weight in clothes and they looked ridiculous, and I've learned in the brutal wisconsin winters that tighter layers keep you warmer. I always had a hard time staying warm in those oversized parachute pants. I came across these and decided to give them a try because i need the double front. Very impressed and unbelievably comfortable, i just hope the rugged flex is durable. Will be buying more

Good to be sble to buy direct from US. Pretty quick shipping and at a reasonable price. Jeans are good but the 32" leg seems way longer than other brands.

Been wearing these for over a month, ABSOLUTELY love them. They are comfortable and stretch in all the right places. I'm a big guy and they are my go to pants now!

I ordered two identical, pairs of jeans. Both have Differences. One has one more belt loops than the other. One was slightly longer in total leg length than the other. Additionally, these pants are wildly thin. They're made out of a semi-denim material. It's more stretchy than any jean I've ever owned. These "double front" jeans are practically dress jeans.

Love these Jeans. Comfortable and great fit. Look forward to purchasing more in the future. Hopefully the will add additional colors.

Very disappointing. Used to be heavy duty denim. These are very thin and not what I have received in the past.

The double front could come up the front of the legs as I seem to damage that spot the most often

I bought these to work in because of the double knees but when they came in they were too cool for work so I just use them casually now definitely my favorite pants!

I used to wear the Carhartt B01's for welding and they held up extremely well. But l have since switched to these Rugged Flex Double Front Utility Jean as I now am an electrical apprentice. These pants are extremely comfortable and the stretch in them is something I've gotten used to now. The double knees are a must have for me as I use the Carhartt kneepads all day. I have been wearing these everyday for work for about 8 months and they have held up well, only showing wear in the carpenter pockets from my tools. With that being said, my only worry with the jeans is that my side pockets have lost some stitching over these 8 months and will probably be the first thing to fail. If they could reinforce those pockets or even create a 5 pocket double knee jean that doesn't have the pockets on the side to fail, I'd be very happy.
