I originally bought one from Pittsburgh in the waterfront when I wanted to exchange it they wouldn't let me exchange it cuz it was the only one they had at the time so I had to call in buy another one drive down there exchange it for money because they said you don't have a return policy so in a nutshell it cost me more money than I did before cuz I had to buy two and then pay shipping it wasn't my fault that the inner liner was ripped on the first one. The zipper grip needs to be larger, like they use to be,also it should be made of brass,not this tiny aluminum pull.That is why I only gave a 3 rating on functionality.

If you are looking for a replacement for your older model Rain Defender Sweatshirt, this isn't it. You'll not find anything as high of quality from Carharrt since they changed manufacturers. It's an OK zip sweat, just not the higher Rain Defender quality as in years past.

Perfect for weekend ride in the country. At 5 feet 5, 160 pounds, the regular fit mid size fits me nice for day to day wear. The large size would be for work with extra garments under.

Great coat. We’ll made. My husband felt that this jacket ran pretty large. He is almost always a xL but in this coat he was a large.

Bigger hood and higher neck zip is much better than old ones. The material is better before.

I got an xl tall. It fits like a 2xl super tall and the pockets design are irritating with silly little flaps. The hood drapes over my face like I'm a monk or something. I used to love my rain defenders, this is the 3rd generation I have purchased since 2019 and is the poorest quality of them all. I've already given it away.

Not quilt lined. It's lined with fish net and the wind blows right through it. Wanted quilt lined.

Absolutely love this Carhartt jacket. Heavy enough for great warmth but light enough it doesn’t weight you down. Blocks the wind. Nice loose fit. Perfect !

Quality sweatshirts…. Ordered two but one came with what seems to be a cigarette burn hole on the inside (I don’t smoke) need them for work and do not have time to return…. Just going to wear it as is

Little pocket in right side. Do not like. Always get hand stuck trying use big pocket. This is my 4th rain defender hoodie. Really like them

My zipper has already fallen off. I plan on returning it for a replacement.

I absolutely love my new Carhartt hoodie. Which I took heavy insulated hoodie very comfortable great pockets great Hood as a matter of fact it really keeps the wind at your back. I wish I had bought one of these years ago.

I previously had a similar Carhartt jacket but left it on a worksite or in a hotel room a few years ago. Bought this one as a replacement & I love it. It's everything the old one was & more. It's warm, durable & the added water repellency is a huge plus. Speaking of huge, this jacket runs large. I'm between an XL and XXL, but this XL jacket is almost too big for me.
