Coat is fine. The part I don't like is the double zipper. It can be very difficult to operate. Would really rather have standard zipper. Also Velcro on pockets make them difficult to use.

A great winter coat that keeps the wind chill out and warmth in. It does look pretty good appearance wise, and I am sure its durability is forthcoming.

I work in the oil industry. i was very disappointed that it didn't have an opening in the back to hook a SRL through. Fall harness are meant to be under it otherwise you need 2 different sizes!!!! very poor planning on Carhartt side!!! Secondly, I am pretty disappointed that you are now mandating covid vaccine!!!! the oilfield will turn its back on you so will most of the construction industry!!!! hate to say but I will never again buy Carhart again!!!!!

Very well made. It's constantly washed and holding up well. I have some spark holes and that's it. Nope, no flames. I do alot of welding, use a cutting torch and also grind metal. Very happy with it! And, it's very warm.

I bought this coat and am very satisfied with it in every way but I am having difficulty with getting a detachable hood, the jacket has 5 male snaps under the collar but the hood that I ordered only has 4 female snaps. This won't work. Can you help me in this matter?

Nice and heavy and very warm. Just a little too bulky but it will wear in well, I'm sure.

This jacket fits well and has the flexibility to allow you to perform your work without issues. It is also very warm so it is great on colder days while performing electrical inspections.

Definitely warm but dose not have buttons/snaps and doesn't have any retention for the waist string definitely takes away from the quality

I have worn this coat in the Western Oklahoma oilfield for 5 years. It has held up well. The coat is warm,but for me anything below 30 and I am putting layers on underneath it. It does have room for layers without being overly bulky. The zipper is big and tuff and has given me no issues. The black color fades to gray pretty quick if you work hard and wash it very often. Over all I would recommend this coat. - Carhartt I would like to see a full swing fr coat that is black, has the heavy duty zipper and is the same length as this coat. Those are the reasons I haven't bought a new coat yet. Just for reference I am in my early 30's size L and I DONT want a coat that stops right at my waist.

Really solid jacket but I can’t help but note that the zipper and everything is really solidly built but then they put these chintzy Velcro patches on in place of metal snap buttons (as is shown) kind of disappointing design decision and they need to update the model photo to reflect this.

Fabulous coat. Fits fine and the color is great. No complaints and this is why I bought it.

Nice,warm coat. Length is great. Not sure why picture shows snaps but comes with velcro closure. We'll see how they hold up. Zipper a bit stiff and difficult to zip. But my husband loves the positive features so much he didn't want to return.

I’ve only worn each shirt once so far but they both look nice, feel good, and fit well. I like the tall sizes and am recommending my tall relatives take a look.

I am very disappointed. The coat had snaps along the zipper in the advertised photos, but when I got the coat there were no snaps, instead, velcro. I feel a little cheated from the false advertising, even though it is a small detail. Nevertheless I bought this coat because of the snaps, and now I will be returning it. Otherwise cool coat, I just can't stand velcro.

I have used these coat for years now and own a few. Great coat, very warm, once its broken it fits great like a glove. I've worn it climbing radio towers in January and woldnt ever choose another jacket for my line of work.

Image depicts buttons on wind flap, but mine was velcro when I got it, do not like that nor do I think velcro is going to last very long, I have no idea why they changed that and it made me want to return it, but its about to be cold so lucky me I guess.
