To address a couple negative comments first: 1. Never wash denim in hot water. It will shrink at least 1 size and drastically recur their life 2. The ones I got don't have nylon stretchy straps as pictured or commented on. This is good 3. I noticed the FR version doesn't have all the metal hardware as non FR. this makes sense. Everyone knows rivets and zippers get hot with heat. Didn't you hear about the Levi crotch rivets and the campfire?! 4. Tailor your clothes!!!!! To the person whose cuffs are tore up…. Duh, that's because you're walking on them because you ordered too long. Tailor them to fit! Stop being lazy! I really like these, they look great, fit great with tailoring, and are highly functional.

What is there really to say? As usual, Carharrt delivers a great product. They are comfortable and tough as nails.

I’m a powerline men when the worlds told to stay inside the weathers too bad and you lose your power me and my brothers and sisters get it back running from the highlines to underground and I found my Carhart bibs a tough enough to handle all situations

Absolutely love these overalls! I would recommend them to anybody that does fabrication/ welding or any other type of hot work. They are a little warm in the summer months but hey that’s the price we have to pay to be protected.

Nice overalls. The large leg openings make them easy to pull on over my pants and work boots.

I don't like the new strap designed. I like the elastic strap better. The rest of the Bibs are fine.

These are awful. I bought the same pair last year and the straps were actually the same durable material as the overalls. These have a cheap stretchy strap that digs into your shoulders and doesn't have a buckle for the excess slack. I've had over 10 pairs of Carhartt overalls and these are the thinnest I've ever had, they are thinner than pairs of canvas pants I own. They have less pockets on the chest and side compared to last years version and are way bigger in size, lengthwise and width

They fit really good

Use to be my favorite bib to wear but since they have gone to the non elastic shoulder straps it’s been giving me neck problems. I wish they would go back. Other wise the size of the pockets is good and holds up well.

Overall these are ok. Could be more flame retardant especially at the knees. In fact the knees should have an extra layer of material because I'm sure I will wear through them in time.

Love wearing these bibs all day and they fit great. But they started falling apart fast. I noticed within the first week they were falling apart down around the ankle cuffs. After a month they have really started coming apart. Every pair of Carhartt bib I have ever owned lasted years but not these.

Have both lined and unlined. Would definitely recommend this product to anyone.

Will see how they work in the near future when welding on the pipeline.

Everything about the bibs was what I expected . Fit, function and durability. That's what I've got used to with carhartt .

I work in the Oil and Gas Industry as well as volunteer as a first responder. These BIBs are made Tuff and last BUT the straps are WAY to short and do NOT give you enough room to snap them properly and still be comfortable IN THE CROTCH! As well as the hem coming loose after awhile. I am a huge carhartt fan and have been using there products since the 90's. I hope they correct the strap length which will alleviate the tight/High CROTCH. I can deal with the hem coming loose but bibs that make it tight in the CROTCH area is NOT pleasant. They need to offer embroidery! Come on carhartt!

I prefer the stretch straps Over the solid straps. When will you have the brown ones ready. Thank you

I'm a gas hauler this is my 4th pair as long as I work at this job I will wear them very comfortable and would recommend them great product

Runs true to size and well made

High quality item right here. I wear it as an industrial IBEW electrician and so do most of the guys in my local. They are very durable and long lasting.

Everything I hoped they’d be, great fit, no restrictions in movement, and knee pads stay in place good.

Can wear a hoodie and sweats underneath in fall or winter and can wear a t-shirt and shorts underneath in summer or spring. Love the bib pockets on these even more than the classic Carhartt bib pockets. Will definitely be purchasing another pair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recommend this item for those FR required locations during the cold winter months. Worked outside on a jobsite all day in below freezing temps and stayed comfortable in these bibs. The job required FR gear and they lived up to the rugged and rigorous work I had to perform. Now if I could only find the right gloves.

Working great . Doing urd in a mud hole . Been wearing every day for 2 weeks. Keep me a bit warmer while still allowing me to move and work. Also keeping mud out of the truck and travel trailer. Ordered way big .... I wear a size 38 or 40 in pants ordered these in 46 and they fit good

Incredibly sturdy and comfortable overalls. At 6’0” tall and 280 lbs and I did feel the overalls ride up and give me a bit of a wedgie when I squat or bend over. For someone who is a bit stockier, you might want to go up a size. Other than that, they fit great. I’m used to working in very hot conditions and they keep me plenty cool. They also are very roomy so you can fit the overall legs over western style work boots.
