I don’t like how everything today is relaxed or loose fit but if you order down a size it fits like normal. Otherwise it’s just like the other vests I’ve been buying for years with one exception; the pockets seem to have gotten smaller as the fit has gotten looser. What’s up with that? Otherwise, great vest

True to size. Good zipper. Pocket placement correct. Will be the day to day go to work vest.

Great quality and feel. Construction is as always great. I love the sherpa lining. It's is soft and warm. I use this vest while cutting firewood. It allows full freedom of movement while keeping me warm. The inside pocket is great for my cell phone while doing work. Large pockets are great to have as well. Just can't beat Carhartt quality. My wife liked mine so much she got one for herself.

These are a very different fit than the last version of this vest. They are very loose fitting so size down.

Bought as replacement for old one. Burn holes grease stains loved that vest. Got my new one and it didn’t disappoint. Warmest vest ever. Excellent over or under clothes. Still great quality.

Great fit, comfortable and just the right amount of warmth, but still leave you able to move freely for working outside..

I am happy to say that it is as good as so many are saying. Completely rugged, warm and looks good also. Be sure to read all the size instructions and comments. I wear a large in almost everything but a medium is the perfect size for this vest.

Quality is good, but disappointed these aren't available in Big and Tall. 3XLT and 4XLT would be nice.

Not good. The design change is horrible. The arm openings reach all the way down to my third rib. Permitting way to much air into the core of my body. The lower back flap extends far to low, almost reaching the lower end of my butt cheeks. I returned it, couldn't be more disappointed. Carhartt needs to go back to the old design. Now that was a truly good vest.

great vest. this is my third one. have been losing weight. always get compliments on it unlike my peter millar vest which are much more expensive and dressy. don't get me wrong I like the peter millar vests too I'm just surprised by the carhartt compliments.

I feel comfortable giving this a five star rating because this is my second vest and the first one was one of my favorite articles of clothing. Very comfortable and wore like iron. I just wish they made it in green. It is a loose fit so I don't recommend upsizing. It's made to be layered.

I live in the PNW and this vest has become an everyday staple for fall-winter-spring. The sherpa lined pockets are a life saver on particularly cold days, and the vest stops wind very well. If I ever manage to wear through this vest, I will 100% be buying another one.

I really like it. I like that it is big and long enough to cover my hooded sweatshirt (Carhartt, of course).

The vest is absolutely awesome not to heavy or bulky which is perfect living in SoCal. I highly recommend trying on the vest before you order online, I am a large and was thinking of wearing it over a hoodie . I ordered an XL which was more like a XXL for me, then ordered a medium which fit a little on the fitted side.

The first order was my normal size XL Tall. It was far too large and long to wear. I returned it and ordered another one. The one I kept, size Large, Regular was very good. The zipper is difficult to start.

Never disappointed with the the quality of Any carhartt product.. They look cooler when the new wears off!
