Very comfortable, but the steel toes rub outside of little toe bad...next time will try the soft toe if you have them

Overall impressed. I have always been a carhartt person and when I saw these boots at the store I really liked the look of them. I tried them on and they had a decent first fit. They ran tight as expected but I wanted to be able to break them in to my foot due to the fact that I put in nearly 20,000 steps a day where I work. They caused mild discomfort to my foot for a week or two and then finally broke in perfect. The sole has been wearing perfectly for how much I walk and work these boots throughout the week mostly all being in a concrete setting. Overall a tough work boot, very shocked to see such poor reviews. I bought these before I looked at the reviews online and am glad I did because I can say I tested them and proved them myself. If you like the way they look and are going for a nice lace up, give these a shot they are a great choice and will be my next choice when my current pair wears out completely.

I wear an 11 wide in every other shoe I own....I ordered this in an 11.5 Wide just to be safe since its off the internet...it fits a.full size too small.

This is the last pair of MADE IN CHINA Carhartt boots I buy! I have gone from Danner, Wolverine, Double H, Red Wing and now CARHARTT and I am tired of buying LEATHER SANDALS!!! I am a working man who stands on concrete, rocks and rough terrain and I am tired of buying ADDITIONAL inserts to try an achieve COMFORT. Guess I am going to try Thoroughgood boots next?!?

I love these boots for everything working on the farm landscaping construction or digging trenches or logging or just wearing them to school. The only thing that was bad about the was the break in period. The heel guard blistered then back of my heel at first but that's the only thing now just takes a little time to break them in. I love these boots they are very comfortable and durable. The water proofing is excellent too. I grab these boots before anything. they support my ankles which is important to me and they keep my feet from fatiguing. The steel toe has saved my toes many times from being broken. I also used them will I went to welding class for a week they were great there too sparks were no issue neither was the heat and they were comfortable all day. They are too hot in the summer and aren't too cold in the winter. I'm on my feet all day and these boots never fail me. Whenever the current pair I have wear out I will definitely buy another pair.

I just received my third pair of these boots and they are just as amazing as the first two pair. My last pair finally came apart at 20 months of daily use. The hold up well, are pretty comfortable, and they look nice.

These boots look awesome out of the box, they look extremely durable. The break in period on these boots was pretty rough. After that was over they were comfortable and the outside of the boots didn't get beat up or scratched no matter what I threw at them. Then about 3 months into having them the lining and the soles started to tear. 3 months later the insides of the boots are now gone, blown out, shredded. They just don't last. They definitely spent the bulk of the money on the outside of the boots. I would not buy again.

nice looking very comfortable like them so far but only had them a week and some stiching coming apart hopefully won't get any worse. im a long time laborer and i know my boots this is my first pair of carhartt

Loved this boot however the size was off. Im a 11.5 wide and a apprently a 12 in carhartts size. Will reorder when I get my return.

Great boots very comfortable once broken in which take about two- three days. I wish they had the protective rubber on the toes.

The most uncomfortable boot I’ve ever had, so painful the blisters I developed from these boots bled through my socks after my second day wearing them, would not recommend, extremely disappointed.

Toe box is a little tighter then most boots, but time will tell once they are broken in

It runs small and was too narrow. I wore for 3 days and couldn't wear them anymore as it was too painful.

Sole Cracked through on both boots in just a couple months still look new not heavily beat on contacted customer service waiting for a response hopefully they will replace with new ones I love the fit but can't deal with the sole cracked completely in half

My wife bought these for me in my normal size and they were a little tight on my little toes. I get in and out of a vehicle all day long and the toe part has already gotten several little cuts on it. Will see how they hold up over time. My last pair of boots from Red Wing lasted several years.

I bought these boots to work in daily. They are comfortable and fit well but after 13 months the side split in them. Also the rubber soles of them started cracking in half after only 6 months. I understand they can't last forever but for the price I did expect them to last longer.

I bought the composite toe version of these boots 1.5 years ago within 6 months the heel guard stiching came out and the rubber started to crack the overall boot was comfortable to wear but it just didn't hold up the heel on one of my boots just ripped out today and I have had cheaper boots last longer. I work on concrete in a hospital as maintenance everyday and I don't do anything that should have caused that much damage. The design is flawed I still like carrharrt boots but I won't buy another pair of these model. I hope the new models that they came out wolith hold up better. I don't really want to switch brands

I work on concrete all day, and need a comfortable pair of boots. About four months ago, my wife surprised me with these, and they felt great. Yesterday, I noticed that both soles had split across the bottom. For the money she paid, I wish they would have lasted longer.
