I love the way the reflective stripes are "broken " instead of solid, it is a huge difference from the tight restrictive solid bars. I think i ordered 2x tall and it fits great, stays tucked in so no plumber's crack! I am 5ft 11in and 280lbs for the record. It breathes much better than what my employer purchased. The 1 and only downfall is stains DO NOT come out. I definitely will be ordering more. Lastly I read reviews complaining about the neck being tight......my neck measures 17.5inches and i don't think there is an issue.

My husband first purchased these about 4 years ago and he likes how the stripes are not confining as they stretch not like other safety shirts. Great quality and last for a long time.

Awesome shirts very good quality and a good fit very comfortable and dries very fast when gets wet and stains come out very well I wear a xxl but I ordered xl tall fits better than 2 xl. Would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of buying these. I ordered both colors but like the orange the best.

I bought 7 shirts in varying colors. after 3 years of daily construction use and stains I'm going to retire them. I'd love to say I'd buy them again but the 1 medium I wore for a week and mostly loved the fit, other than it being way to short to wear at work without my stomach and back showing during stretch and flex. The large is way to loose and is still to short but more reasonable. I'm a carhartt die hard and spend money on flasks because they say carhartt lol. In your "loose fit" line of long sleeve shirts tshirts, jackets, coats THE PEOPLE NEED A MEDIUM TALL!!! In my experience and alot of people I work with also, it's common knowledge you have go 1 size down with your "loose fit" clothes... THIS IS MY PLEA!! HELP OUT THE WEIRD LOOKING LONG BODY SKINNY GUYS "like me" WITH A MEDIUM TALL!! And if you don't I'll still keep buying carhartt stuff because everything else is perfect for me

For work these shirts are awesome. Keep you cool and dry while providing visibility working in or near traffic. One of great things about this shirt is how the reflective stripping is separated. I’ve used other brands in the past and after washing them they seem restrictive in movement because the reflective strips shrink and they have no give in them. The sizes do seem to run a little big and if you have a choice the orange seems to hide dirt a little better.

I've wore these for the 3 years now, and they have made me feel more comfortable and safe working in the roadway on traffic signals. I have wore them 5 out of 7 days a week for near all three years, cold, hot, rain, snow/sleet (With a Rain Defender hoodie in the winter months). It breaths well, feels smooth and soft, releases stains, it stretches and then returns to normal when relieved, and it is bright at night, and for the price point they are worth it, what more could you possibly want. Lastly, I have not thrown a single one of the 10 I have away, in three years of hard abrasive labor.

the material is very easy to snag if you brush against something, the neck is very tight but it breathes very well and gives a cooling feel when you sweat in it

Bought five of these shirts after first wash they all have brown squares right in the middle of my chest. The sticker residue is still sticky even after being washed. I haven't even wore them yet and all five are permanently stained.

The large talks are much longer then the large talks in the force work shirt...like wearing a dress

I have been wearing Carhartt products for years , Im very disappointed with my recent purchase order number 0273366551 I bought 2 hi viz shirts and one of the reflective strips is completely falling off . they were both washed and dried together so how do you explain the 50% failure rating ?

Love the shirts. Love what carhartt has been doing for the last 35 years. I will retire here soon. But I will still wear carhartt.

Rather than wear a hot Class 2 hi viz vest I opted to try the Force Class 2 T-shirt in orange. As a Hi-Viz shirt it satisfies the safety requirement of my Public Works Department. It is light and much more comfortable than a vest which I was happy with, but as a work shirt I think they should be a bit more durable. 3 of the five shirts I purchased developed pulls in the front and on the sleeves, leaving 2-3" long threads of material hanging. This wasn't even while doing any heavy-duty work. They fit well and hold up well through washing. They showed no sign of shrinking. Cutting brush or chipping trees may cause a lot more pulls and or rips in the material. The shirts are nice, but durability is questionable. I would give them 3.5 stars but I wasn't able to make a half star.

Ordered a XL and it fits like a 2X it’s to long and baggy for the work I do.

Your shirts really suck the fit is terrible they snag within 30 minutes they melt at the slightest heat I would not recommend this crap to my worst enemy you couldn’t give me this inferior product

I ordered 4 of these shirts for son in law. Love carhartt. But this time carharttt let me down. One of the shirts he wore twice and the thread on sleeve seam began just pulling loose. To expensive to have that happen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My boyfriend loves these shirt- very light weight material, and durable. Washes great. I ordered a 2XLT, which are slightly loose, but comfortable and long enough since he is tall. Definitely would recommend.

I wish they made them in a small size, but I love these shirts. No more safety vest for me!

I would have gave a 5 star overall restating except the two stickers on the shirt, one long one with the size and another by the pocket we’re SUPER sticky and even though I know this is an issue, I decided to try these shirts. I pretreated those areas with dawn dish soap, in hopes of releasing the sticky area, and washed them before they were wore and hung them to dry. Each time my husband wears a shirt, the areas where the stickers were show. Obviously dust sticks to them. I still have not dried them in the drier in fear the drier will set the stickiness into the shirt. Other than this, the shirts are very roomy, wash nicely and are SUPER cool in our 90°+ temperatures we have been having in Minnesota for my husband who works construction.

This shirt is very light and durable and it’s perfect for my work in the field so I can be noticed.

Of all my hi vis shirts these are my favorites, but as well as they last, the neck opening could be larger. Also, you guys at the company must not wear your own shirts. Quit putting stickers on the shirts. The glue is next to impossible to get off and turns into a dark spot when dirt gets on it. Finishing on a high note though these shirts dry quickly and don't hold odors like some poly fabrics do.

Did not fit all that well even with the right size the collar on the shirt was really loose.

Says it wicks sweat away but it is a very hot uncomfortable shirt. Runs large as well. Had already washed so could not return.

This is by far the best shirt I’ve bought I actually got caught in the rain and it may not be a Rain Defender but it dried pretty quickly. The stains come right out, so it is a great quality shirt that I highly recommend.

I really wanted to give these shirts a 5 star. They're very cool and fast drying as advertised. These seem to be built to the tank like standard that I expect of Carhartt. Well, 3 washes in and the stitching at the sleeve hem is all unraveling. That makes $10 per wear before the fall apart. Pathetic.

As a heavy equipment operator, this is my shirt of choice for work when it is hot. The shirt breathes well, releases dirt well in the wash, fits nice and you stand out like a sore thumb because it is bright.

Loved these shirts. However since the last two supply changes to Egypt and Mexico the stripes peel off after a few washes. Not like corporate Carhart cares about their products or us anymore. Save a penny and we have to replace frequently. More money for them again would be nice if you made 4xlt too and made compliant for the railroad and Canada

I love these shirts and have had one for a year or so and decided to buy a few more. Like many other reviews, the “stain breaker” sticker left a residue on both shirts I purchased and it is not coming off. I tried goof off and washing per the instructions and the tackiness is gone but the stain is not. I’m not very happy with this purchase and it doesn’t seem like Carhartt has addressed this. Please put these stickers on a tag!

They would be better if the stickers that came on them didn’t have so much glue now every shirt I bought has a stain in the front

Comfortable, light & cool. Relaxed Fit makes it almost a size bigger. Material pulls easily when catching an edge. Although advertised as meeting ANSI, it is not specified which on so I assume it is ANSI 107. While ANSI permits retroreflective material in a box design on the back, CSA requires a symmetric X pattern from the shoulders to the waist. This mean that unfortunately, this style of garment does not meet CSA Z97 std as it does not have a symmetric "X" on the back.

Best Hi-Vis shirt for them warm, icky days. Just wish the price point was better and easier to obtain thru wholesale for our company to purchase in bulk.

I also have stains on them and for some reason they will not come out. we have tried several things to use but they are not working. I tried to take a picture of the shirt but you could not see the spots or where the tread was coming out.
