I have been looking for good snow boots that aren't huge and super "clunky" for some time now. I used to like classic Sorels, but do not care for the latest versions of them as they are waaaay too big. I have tried at least 10 different brands and types of boot, Sorel, Eddie Bauer, LL Bean, Helly Hansen, Kamik, Columbia, North Face, etc. I'm finally settling on these. They are still a pretty hefty boot, but don't have the super huge toe box like many of the other brands. I like that they have a removable liner, and the sole is really grippy. They are heavy, and heavy duty, nothing fashionable about them. But for a specific, warm winter boot that actually fit decent without being sloppy, they fit the bill. I wear a size 9 in all other shoes, ordered a 9, and they fit fine. I have a narrow heel and moderately wide forefoot. They are still a bit wide, but my feet aren't swimming in them like others. The length is good. The price is decent too. Haven't worn them outside much yet but I think they will be plenty warm.
5 out of 5 stars.
